They called me. Didn't answer.

I got a call from this number at my office.  What I do is answer and wait for them to ask for a person, say one moment I am connecting you - and transfer them to the FCC at 1-888-225-5322.

It may be good to remind people that the IRS is now turning some accounts over to private debt collection companies.

While "Never leave a message with anyone or any company that you don't know. This makes it legal to call you" is true, scammers don't obey any laws and WILL call you regardless of whether it's legal to do so or not.

I am a member of the Burns family and would like to clear up this scam that has plagued  my family's name and honor. As per a police report, i had learned that someone used our number by way of a machine to make these random annoying phone calls to make it seems as if they were coming from my home.  My mother ( who has been deceased for 6 yrs) has had this phone number at this address for over 40 yrs. No one in my family had anything to do with this situation. None of my family members were aware that this had taken place until 4 months ago when there was a problem with Time Warner Cable reconnecting my services due to cross lines with my phone because my phone line had been out of service during the months of June thru Sept, when all of those phone calls were made.I since then, had to disconnect my phone line so that wouldn't continue to happen. I don't no why someone would do that to me and my family and i just asked God to have mercy on their soul because that individual is truly troubled. I just happened to google my family's name and this blog popped up, so i felt compelled to clear my family's name. May God bless you all that was troubled by this disturbing prank.

Call it back and it says it is not a working number.  Really?  Someone using this number had no trouble calling me!  And a reverse search on whitepages.com says it is registered to Penny M Burns and Ralph W Burns ages 45-49 on W 129th St in NY, NY.  Wonder if they know about their number being used in scams......

Received a call on cell phone - didn't answer it because don't know the #. Looks like the scum bag ( from other posts) continues to look for an easy prey. NOT HERE !!

I received a recorded message on my unlisted residential phone that has been on the federal do not call list since it first started many years ago. Since they performed these two federal criminal acts, they cannot be trusted. Do not do business with them. The recorded message was about my past due federal taxes. I always pay my taxes on time.

I have been receiving A LOT of cold calls like this one in the past week.  I get at least 4 or 5 calls a day and I think I've been called twice by these guys.

Receiving calls from this number.  I did not recognize the number, did not anwer and no message was left.  It looks like it is a scam.

Got a call saying I owe to the IRS, when in reality, the IRS owes me... I'm still waiting on my tax return.... Maybe I can hire these people to call the IRS and collect the money it's owed to me

Got this number on an AT&T mobile phone.  I refused to answer this because I knew it's going to be bad, but when I called back for curiosity, it said the # is not a working line.

I filed a complaint to the Do Not Call webpage, since I should be in Do Not Call by now.

I've received 2 calls from them. Once yesterday and previously in September. They never leave a message. The 1st time I called back the phone rang once then I received a message stating "this # is not a working line" or something to that degree. Don't know what they want but I just ignore the call.

A complete fraud folks. They stay in business because gullible people fall Rey. All they want is your contact info and credit card. All the numbers are fake numbers to hide their real numbers. DO NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE. If they are spoofing numbers, yours may be next. Report to local and national law enforcement. Report report report. They are relentless and will call daily at no end.

Once they have your number you will notice multiple phone call scams ranging from free cruises, diabetes testing to heather at Card Services. The numbers are spoofed. They always are. I received a dozen calls from 212-662-5303. It was a recorded message from "Sarah" speaking about back tax elimination and mentioning Obama. I blocked this number. Now I am getting the same recording from a different phone number, 813-200-4650. This time I am making a *57 log of the calls with Comcast so that there is a record for Comcast and/or the police.

It's a complete fraud. They use illegal spoofed names and numbers and Robo Calls. Why would anyone do business with someone whose first contact is violating the law on three counts?

They don't answer, but want you to leave a message. Never leave a message with anyone or any company that you don't know. This makes it legal to call you.

Instead, leave a spoofed message. Say you owe thousands, so they will return the call. Give them a phony, "Spoofed" name and number.

This has to do with fraud, not elections.

received the call and didn't answer.  I always google numbers before I answer them when they call this late at night.  The call came through on my work cell number.  When I tried to call it back because I was worried it was a business partner, I received an automated message saying it was not a working number.  now that I've had a chance to read the reviews, I'm looking forward to them calling me back.  I like messing with these people.

do not know any one from NY...they did not leave message if it was IRS usually they contact by cerited  mail...stupid people...waste of time...hummm wonder if it has to do with the Wall Street pro-test...
