Got a call today. Missed it, no message left.

Called my cell. Number is from NY. Didn't leave a message.

Got called from 212-723-7020 on Aug 13, 2013.  Missed the call and they left no message.  CID says its from Smith Barney.  It is a landline form NY, NY and the name Smith Barney comes up as an executive who used to work for Morgan Stanley that has been accused of defrauding clients and a settlement was just reached.  Don't know what this has to do with me but I suspect it is one of the CRedit Card scams so I'm going to block this number.

I received this call/recording this morning and did not press any keys, just hung up as I figured it was a phishing scam, since they didn't say who they were or what company that wanted to reduce my interest rate.  I want to know how it got mt cell number in the first place.  Evidently the "Do Not Call List" doesn't work.

Called to find out credit card info.  Once they didn't like my response they hung up on me.  Beware!!!

robo call to my cell phone telling me that it was a limited time opportunity to lower my credit card interest rate.  I pressed 1 to be connected to find out who was calling me and how they got my number.  When I asked the girl who answered, she promptly hung up.  I blocked this number from my phone.

Just got a call....called back got a fast busy....put on my ignore list!

No mention of which credit card they're talking about. Felt like a Robocall - disconnected after giving instructions to press 1 or 2. Legitimate company would have stated name of credit card.

My cell shows the number is from NY, no I did not answer and no message left.  Thanks to the others who posted here.  You saved me from wasting time trying to find out who called.

Called my mobile phone and left no message. Big waste of time as many of us are working and get interrupted by useless phone scams.

I am charged for long distance calls out of my network.  I am registered with the govt no call.  Please stop these people from calling. This is a scam.

Also got a call from "Heather" telling me it was my final opportunity to lower the interest rate on my "credit card account". No mention of which card. Was told to press 1 to speak to an account rep but then the call disconnected.

An unwanted call to a my cell phone about reducing interest rates.  Filed a complaint.

Just got a call on my cell phone from this number. I answered the call. First there was a female recording stating they were "Card Services" and if I wanted to lower my interest rate to press 1. I played along because I have done quite well with a couple of TCPA claims. A foreign accented guy comes on the line and says he is Charles and do I want to lower my interest rate. I asked what company is this and he says it's Card Services. I said so you're not one of my credit card companies? (I don't have any credit cards). He said no maam, you pressed 1 and because you have made excellent payments for the past 6 months, you qualify. I then asked him how does he know that? He said because you pressed 1  (ha!).  I said no, how do you know how I've made payments in the last 6 months?  He said he was not obligated to tell me that and he hung up on me! HAHAHA!  I tried calling the number back but only get a busy signal.  What a scam!  Would be nice to serve them a TCPA lawsuit but I bet it's an overseas scam!

spoofed #  Congress needs to get off their lazy vacation a*** & put some real teeth & consequences into a law that goes after the software developers/providers & THEIR CUSTOMERS THAT ABUSE/use this software to spoof any phone #   OTHER THAN THE ACTUAL #.

Missed call, no message, call back, busy

Called my cell. I have a track phone so don't use this number for incoming calls unless I am out and I don't answer unless I know the number. I don't give the number to anyone but family and friends. Must be a computer dialing numbers.

Just got a call from that number.  They hung up as I answered, but I tried to call back to see, and only got a fast busy.

I work for US Govt, when I call out it shows up as US anyway, I just called that number and it gave a fast busy.  losers....

I was first Contacted by a 700 number to fix my computer!  I researched that number, and found that it was Actually the 212 number. The man with the foreign accent, Stated that he was in California!  This 212 number would seem to be a scam artist!!!
