I found an illegal long distance charge for .10 for 7.0 minutes from Nwyrcyzn01 NY. I never made a call to Nwyrcyzn01 NY. In the past I've reported numerous illegal telemarketer calls and I am on the DO NOT CALL registry which is useless. For the past two months I have received illegal charges on my long distance phone service, four total. The last two charges were somewhere in D.C. area, and each phone bill I have to ask Verizon to remove the illegal charges. From the looks of the comments Nwyrcyzn01 is apparently another telemarketer scammer. This scammer uses the number 1- 646-553-4686 which was the number that charged my landline .10. I wonder if anyone else has had the problem I have had with illegal long distance charges. The FTC Bureau of Consumer Protection, the GOVERNMENT DO NOT CALL REGISTRY, ARE ALL USELESS contacts.  I even contacted FCC a month ago and they claimed they were investigating my case. No follow up since there last email.

I work at a full service Salon and we have gotten calls for the past month from this number wanting prices and asking about what we offer they are rude each time and usually hang up before giving them all the information.

My receptionist is soooo agitated with people calling from NWYRCYZN01 NY (most always from a different phone number, perhaps they are using a calling card). They sometimes call several times a week.

I keep telling her to just tell them we are not interested and hang up. Especially to not give anyone information over the phone. We have asked them repeatedly to not call us but the calls still continue.

So today, after yet another call from the same NWYRCYZN01 NY, but from a different number, I told her to next time to politely tell them she needs to put them on hold for a bit and then to just leave them on hold. If they call back, just do it again... each and every time NWYRCYZN01 NY calls, just politely put them on hold.

If it is a calling card then we'll be using up their minutes & time. The internet suggests it might be a calling card. In any case it might make her feel better, because she is wanting to scream at them and that would be unproductive for both of us, besides raising our stress level. Have fun with them :)

They called us a number of times, as well and were EXTREMELY rude.  I used our caller ID and called them back even though the caller ID was some sort of bogus acronym it still called the number back and it is a company called EJ Sterling.  I talked to the receptionist and told them to take us off their call list and she said no problem and was sorry for the inconvenience.  This has to be some sort of illegal scheme going on.  The company is EJ Sterling.

This time, the caller asked for a particular name: Francesco Martinez. When I told her there was no one here by that name, she said "OK" and hung up.

Now that I know, from now on, they get voicemail.

I own a copy of Phone Valet, here, so my Mac is my answering service. When this showed up in the call list, I did some research, found this thread, and added them to the call block profile. Done.

This number has called before-on a couple of occassions.  They will not leave a message and I should not have to pay to call long distance to have them remove my phone number:

Called when I answered a computer voice came on and said "That number is not valid". I said " You called me " Not valid? what ever LOL

Same as above. Called my phone company to confirm scam.  So I'm not sure what or if I agreed to anything.  How do I go back to check? Their line rings busy.

I just went through the same thing.  A woman told me she was contracted to handle the long distance and access fees that the FCC regulates.  That Verizon is no longer allowed to have the "hidden fees" in their invoice.  I asked her for her name and the number she could be reached at.  She replied that she was calling from a computer and had no return number.  I told her "then I have no business to do with you"

Number called us twice today at our business.  The first one had nobody on the other end (stupid robo dialers).  The second time someone came on the line asking to speak to the person in charge of the AT&T account.  I asked is this AT&T?  He said yes, so I said then you should already know that person's name.  He said he didn't have that information.  I called him a liar for saying he was from AT&T and hung up on him.

Rude woman, said I was not interested in discussing my phone bill with them and she asked "What is it that you dont want to discuss?" I hung up on her. March 3, 2011.

This company will not stop calling.  They want to talk about phone service.  I told them to stop calling and "Dorothy" said no.  My number is a business number.  They deserve to be blocked.

I got the same kind of call from someone saying they were going to "save you money" on your long distance calls. Joke's on them it's aVerizon phone with unlimited long distance nation wide. WTF?
I asked what he was selling and he said he was trying to save me money on my long distance. This guy was just plain rude. I asked if he was as big an a__hole in person as he is on the phone. He hung up on me or I did on him. These people need to be tarred and feathered. I can't believe there are those out there that as desperate enough for a job to do this kind of thing.

They call every other day. Today I told the woman to remove me from the list and she laughed at me and said she was trying to save my business $. I said I was not interested in her scam. Laughed again and hung up. How do i block this #?

I got a phone call from Citynet Dept of, this morning at 9:34 am today 06/02/2011,these calls interrups me from helping my wife, she ALH. dease I wish something could be done about this annoying call, I keep telling the people I am not interested, please help me

this company have been calling about at least one week for the past Month, it is a bother to me I keep telling them Iam not insterested  but they continue telling me that are authorized by FCC

This number has called twice, the first time they hung up and the second they just say there listening to me saying hello. Wierd.

I do not have caller ID and do not know the calling number.  However this report is about Business Network Long Distance, Inc. (BNLD)  I am a senior citizen and my phone is listed with the National Do Not Call Registry.  I rarely receive any phone solicitations.  "Payton" called, said he was calling from my phone company, had reviewed my monthly charges and could save me some money.  I fell for it hook, line and sinker.  After going through the verification process I called my phone company and discovered that I had been slammed.  I am embarrassed that I allowed myself to be victimized and hope I can prevent other elders from being victimized by this organization.  More information, including BNLD's attempt to slam a church, can be found at http://www.topix.com/forum/city/carthage-nc/T3308J756SATAGMNL.
The Denver Better Business Bureau has many complaints against this firm and gives it a C- rating.

Says they are with BNLD and the FCC is charging some line rate and he wants to lower it. Then he quotes me on the wrong price per line we are supposedly paying, I call him on it and tell him we are under a contract and he said it doesn't effect it. So I yelled at him and told him what I really thought. Then blocked his number. It's definitely a scam.

I received a call from a lady claiming that my phone rates were being reduced and they were affiliated with my phone company. I of course knew she was full of crap. I asked her why isn't my phone company calling me?  I told her I have been thru this before with fraudulent charges on my business phone line. She was getting very apprehensive and said that I was being transferred to a verification operator and If I disagreed with anything I would just get transferred back to her and we would have to go thru the whole process again. So the verifier asked me my adress and I said I couldn't give out any information. I was quickly hung up on.

The same thing happened to me last week at the place I work at! As"Ramona" was talking, I got a very suspicious feeling and decided to Google the number. This page came up in response to my inquiry online. Everything it said was everything she was saying to me. I told her I was just the secretary and that I did not and was not going to agree to the changes. I even read this post to her and she said that people were just trying to give BNLD a bad name. She became irrate and told me that she was just working the job for minimum wage to support her daughter. It is a scam and you should never agree to it! Call AT&T and the Better Business Bureau to report it!

A "lady" from this number called and said she wanted to know if I was in charge of the phone accounts and she was working with ATT and could save me money.   I asked her if this WAS ATT and she hung up!

If this is indeed NSBI, we requested that they put us on their company do not call list
last summer.  We also requested that they not call us ever again, and told our phone
provider that anything coming from them regarding our phone service was to be considered
to be fraudulent.
