Just got the 4th call this week from this number. Also same deal, hear someon on the end of the line but no response and a hang up. Super annoying! This number is relation to a scam. Say nothing in relation to your name or any personal information. Just block this number from your phone if this is possible from your phone provider.

I've been getting calls from this number for about a week.  About once or twice a day. I don't know who it could be ,no one speaks,but I hear breathing, light breathing.The call lasts for about 13 seconds or less. The phone hangs up from the other side. It's a landline phone because I tried to send a text and and reply saying it was a landline cannot send message.

They continue to call even when told to put on do not call list talking about grants. They have called 29 times in less than a month and one day called 9 times.

This no. Has been calling me every twenty min. They called 7 times and I thought bill collector but I answered the 7th time and they hung up. How can someone get a bunch of random no. And just keep on calling them all over and over and hang up? What an idiot.

This number has been calling all week at three to four times, a man named Edward ( a FOREIGNER) keeps asking me if I need grants, when I try to answer he hangs up on me too.  I asked him for his Supervisor and he hung up on me.  All I know if I am PISSED!!!!

They call my cell about every 5 minutes everyday and say nothing. Once they called and asked for my wife. Definitely a scammer or retarded hacker.

Keep receiving calls from this morning they called and you can hear a tv in the background a man, obviosly of Indian decent kepts saying hello hello - I told him I cant hear him over his tv? He then said I need to speak to owner of this phone number???? I said who is this? He said owner of phone please. I again said Im not understanding you very well and the tv got louder and then he hung up. Does not sound like its a business?

Get calls from this number EVERY day for about............3 weeks. Its like there is a VM, but you try to listen and no one is there. Guess it isnt my whacko ex after all..................annoying anyway. Please stop.

I have been having the same trouble!! they call me like 4 times a day and one time someone picked up for me and they asked for me and hung up.......unreal.

The number, 212-756-3457, belongs to the Manhatten Group in NYC. I called last Friday and dialed 212-756-3212 instead and received a return call this morning. The woman I spoke with, Linda King, said that 212-756-3457 was indeed a number that belonged to the Manhatten Group and she would look into it. The companies main number is 212-756-3000.

Hi,Yea I been getting calls from this number, and there is a guy over on the other end, he sounds like he's from china or something and he keeps on asking my name and I tell him that I''m not giving my name out , when I asked for his name, all he said is I asked questions first than I gave him a piece of my mind...

This number has been trying to call me for the passed week or so.. And I usually don't answer numbers I don't know but desided to answer today it sound like a oldish guy from like inda. Creepy as hell.. So when I answered I told then to f off and I don't want them calling again.. We will see what happens..

yes i receive about 5 to 10 calls a day from this number and the same thing just hangup call back and it says its verizons phone service saying it is not a working number i dont know what its about but its freaking annoying and pissing me off somebody needs do something i dont know what but they need to fix it and fast

I got this call several times and the heavy breathing with an accent asked to speak to the owner of this phone, then it went dead.  I finally blocked it and I hope that's the end of it. Fortunately for me I am moving and will have a different number lol!

they have called me recently and have also called me in the past. make sure to not give any information to them. a friend of mine gave them a gift card number so that they could pay the 1.85 and they declined and actually got upset that we used that. these ppl are retarded they want your info to get ur money dont be fooled a Grant company wouldnt just cold call people and tell them they have won some money to use on whatever they want. thats the first giveaway that this is a total fake. pls be smarter than these ppl usein fake indian accents (when they get pissed they talk in their normal voice)haha. well hope everyone was smart and googled US Grants + Scam. to see what shows up this has been going on for a long time. give them a visa gift card number if u wanna test it out. if u only need to pay 1.85 that should work. if they get pissed its fake if they dont its legit and u get ur stuff. so hope this wa helpful

this number just called me two times this morning..yesterday I palyed a IQ game in the Internet and it said I won the prize- A DELL LAPTOP..so I just filled up a name and adress, but the next step was they were asking my credit imformation, then I just stopped which means I didn't click "NEXT" button untill "FINISH" button coming out...but i think they got my phone imformation from YESTERDAY'S  imformation I filled up (my name and phone number)..guy said "if I am interested in making extra money in home? " I said "no" and he asked me " then how are u and where are u making extra money for urself?", I said"that's not ur business" and he said"what what? what did u say?" then I hang up on him

its a telling marking company ive put my number on the dont call list and doesnt work

I contacted my phone carrier..which in a cell phone..and they can't block it. the only they advised was the local police, Atty General or change the number

I have received this phone call...from both the international and the regular. I got the international guy to speak to me....he is asking for a Charles Yingling, he swore up and down that I was his wife, and that I knew him as he was at my wedding in December, said his name was Mark from US Financial, laughing under his breath, then told me he was 15. But I also got a phone call from a marketing firm in RE: online degrees, asking for the same person. I informed them, they had the wrong number, then later on I got another call from another international number as well.

I have gotten several calls from this number as well as from +01112127563457 which is the same number with an international code in front of it.  I have told them several times to stop calling but they don't so I have blocked the 212 number.  International numbers can't be blocked.  It's very frustrating and very annoying!

Man after reading this next time they call ima put those people in their places. Luckly I didn't give em any information. I'm pretty sure the goverment would like to know who's trying to give out "free" money.

Yes it will say it's non working number, those guys buy Majic Jack and you could pay $19.00 per year and you could assign any number you want in the united states. I use that for my family over seas. those people could be any where in the world and have 212, or 202 area code. I applied for government grant and I think that's how they got my information. the persone talked to me had an Indian or Pakistany accent.
