These b*****ds keep calling and when I try a call back, it says that the number has been disconnected. Why call from a number if it's disconnected?

I have gotten 5 calls from this number in the past WEEK, 2 today (first at 11:38am, second at 12:57pm).  I have asked them to STOP calling and that I am reporting them.  My number is on the California and National Do Not Call List.

Its always the same indian guys from different numbers, this being one of them.  They always tell me they are from Microsoft and something is wrong with my computer and that I need to turn it on. MICROSOFT WOULD NOT CALL PEOPLE LIKE THIS. The first time I hung up on them.  The second time I said "oh and what if I own a mac?" and they continued with their story that something was wrong with my computer so I hung up.  I stopped answering the calls and added my number to the Missouri Cell Phone No Call List.  Today this number just called me, when i said hello an indian guy says "can i talk to the owner of this number?" I said PLEASE STOP CALLING ME ITS GETTING REALLY ANNOYING IM ON THE NO CALL LIST and hung up.  Someone please tell me how i can get them to leave me the hell alone!!

Essentially the same as what VV reports from 14 Sep.  I was at the gym when they called.  Foreign accent with typically American name.  The solicitor was trying to tell me that my computer had downloaded dozens of malware and other viruses.  I asked him what company he represented, he gave some name I'd never heard before, and I figured it's a scam.  They're still calling me, but the calls have dropped before I can talk to them and find out more to report about.

They have called my cell once each of the last 2 days, but have not left a message when I didn't answer.

good ol' american name "JOE"   told me the same thing he told w  all i said was i didnt think so and hung up  its sad that some people might listen to him and do what he says

Keeps calling me and leaving no voicemail, when I call back says number is not in service??

I KEEP GETTING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER AND I AM WORRIED BECAUSE MY HUSBAND JUST DIED IN NEW YORK... WHY ARE THEY CALLING ME?  I HAVE NOT ANSWERED ANY CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER BUT THEY HAVE BEEN CALLING ME FOR THE PAST 2 WEEKS.

be ware of this number too: 727451-9290, they are definetly scam artists and reported them to clearwater fla pd and am waiting to hear back, these jerks give american names but sound foreign, intimidate, pretend to be officers of the law or courts, all over payday loans that you never took out, they even give you your real social and dob, sometimes employment info and like with me gave me my old bank account info (which is closed due to scammers previously) i may be fooled but you are not going to do it again!!!

Just got a call from this number too.  I did not recognize it so did not pick up.  Thanks for the heads up!  Of course, no message left.  Please make this kind of activity stop.

CALLED DID NOT ANSWER WHEN SPOKEN TOO.

Just got same call. At first I thought he was saying something about a security system for my computer. Wanted to know who was the main user of the computer and he started screaming at me demanding to know who was the main user. Finally just hung up on him. I can't stand these calls.

If you call my work phone 1 more time, I will report you to FCC and local authority's to prosecute.

I ran thru their requests with them and at the end they read a number to me that they said was my computer liscence ID. So I hung up.   Yes WTF!!!!!!!

Just got the same call. When I started asking questions, they hung up on me. When I called their number back, an operator comes on saying thats a disconnected number. WTF!!!

Asked if I was the owner of the phone they just called.  (Obviously, they did not know my name.)  When I said yes, they said they were from Windows and were receiving messages from my computer.  They told me to turn on my computer.  I asked how they knew my number, they said it was registered with that computer.  I asked what they were going to do with my computer.  They kept insisting that I just turn it on.  Finally I said I'm not in front of my computer, so they asked when they could call back.

The person says they are calling about operation system on my computer, that i do not use.
