They called and it went to my voice mail at work. No message.

They also call from 714 868-0120 - Buena Park, CA

Guy name David demanded to speak someone in our company and stated he was calling Aegis,  "Just put him on the phone. " he barked.  He promptly hang up when asked for his number.

3/5/13 "Sean" called and asked for my boss by his first name, and I told him that he was not available.  "Sean" expected to be put through to voicemail.  Sounded like a sales call to me - when you call with a pushy tone, it's a dead giveaway. I told him my instructions were to take a written note with his name. He did not like that option - hemmed and hawwed about his company name - and became rude. Being a busy person who does not have time for this,  I hung up. He called back immediately, was very belligerent, kept asking if I hung up on him. I ignored that and informed him that if he would like to leave a message, I could offer him the written form, that he needed to give me his name, company name and phone number. He said he was Sean with Agis (sp?). I see from google this was a telemarkter - a company called Allen Gunn Financial. Note to you rude New York  telemarketers - there us such a thing as Southern Hospitality, and it doesn't include being pushed around. My boss expects me to screen all calls. The only thing standing between you and the person you are trying to call is - me.You don't want to make me mad. We care about what our bosses tell us to do, not you. Do not assume the person answering the phone is an underling who can be fooled into passing your call on. Also, for furutre reference, we log your calls, so don't expect to call back and try to fool us again. If my boss wanted financial advise, he would not be going to a New York company when we are located in South Carolina. Can't imagine you have any luck with this sales tactic.

He called & asked for owner by name & when I said he wasn't there......he hung up.  I called # that showed on callid-id & it was told it was Ageis by the girl that answered phone.  Told her what happened & she said they have 60 employees but apologized for that RUDE person.

Had missed call last night so Googled the number - I'll be aware if they call again.

It's not just USA that they are calling but UK as well - I work for a US Company so guess they got my cell from the corporate website.

Matt with Aegis Capital called and left a message to call back, no subject, call not returned.  They seem to call every few months, probably cold-selling private investments, ignoring the do-not-call list.

Called left no message.   Like the 10,000,000th call from them...

Sean called from Aegis Finance and was rude and unpleasant.  Told him not to call again.

At 1:10 pm November 21 received unsolicited sales call from "Aegis Capital," 212-813-1010, same identification as callers from 212-806-6300.  I asked whether they had heard of the do-not-call list.  They "apologized" and said the call was unintentional.  I disagreed.

Called with a lot of noise in the background but didnt say anything. so i hung up. they called back and hung up.  Dont know who they are or what they want.

I just answered the phone and Caller I.D. displayed 212-806-6300 Aegis Captial.  The gentleman asked for the owner and I asked if I could take a message he said no thank you and hung up on me.

Low lifes call her about 2 times a month. I, by now, recognize them so when they ask for the owner I swwetly reply, "I'm sorry, he doesn't take calls from scum bckets" and make sure I slam the phone down as hard as possible! :)

Why these people are in business I don't know.  On caller ID Aegis Capital 212-806-6300.  Guy asked for owner by first name.  I've done this before so I asked if he was expecting your call.  He says no.  I start asking questions as if this guy doesn't know how to speak more than two words.  His name is Eric.  RIIIGHT.  I say he's in a meeting right now and he hangs up.  i hate that.  So I call back, some receptionist answers, I ask for Eric, she says, Eric who?  I say I dont know, she asks is he a broker or an intern.  I  tell her all I know is Eric called, and hung up on me, I'd like to speak with him.  She hasn't a clue.  These guys are losers.  They used to call and the caller ID said GUNALLEN.  Same slimes, different name.

Left no voicemail.

No one said anything but it went to the answering machine and disconnected after about 30 seconds.

Called twice within a minute and wanted to speak to the owner of the company. I said he wasn't available and asked to take a message, and they promptly hung up. Obviously not a very legitimate company.

This jerk calls and hangs up on us when he can't anyone he asks for. You know it wouldn't bother us half as much if they would just say, "Thank you" before hanging up.

We recieved a call from This number and I thought they were rude but once my husband listen we took their advice at their reccomendation and we are pleased.

all i was able to get was his name, Josh....Company name Gun Allan....It seems they are a financial planning company

CALL ONCE EVERY 2-3 WEEKS.  NEVER LEAVES A MESSAGE. I WILL NOT PICK UP THIS NUMBER

Keeps calling me, I don't answer and they never leave a message.

This person doesn't know my husband because he called him by the wrong nickname.  Ordinarily that wouldn't suprise or bother me.  This one did.
