It's a 212 number, no one on the line...it's a pain in the butt...

got a call from this number. Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  when i call back its either busy or just keeps ringing.

Answered the phone only to be put on hold with music. A person came on and asked for a nonexistant person. Will block them in the future.

CallerID says only "845-9278" without any area code --- so I think theyre spoofing a number.  Is this a debt consolidation company??????

The callerID shows just "845-9278",  so i assume it's in my home area code of 212;  who are they???

i got a call from this number, did not answer...it is located in NY, NY...I know it is a land line...called back...BUSY!!! Perhaps I can make a connection with an instant messenger that is full of untruths to this number!!!

Got a call from the same guy as yesturday, but with a different number 708-628-4576 (chicago area code).  He also told me he was an operator with an important matter for my husband or his wife.  When are the calls going to end????

I just got a call from this number and didn't pickup. No message but just wondered why they call all over the US?
Maybe they want to get your cellular# for other stuff.

Got a call from this number and my wife answered it.  They asked for me and she came upstairs to my office.  The woman on the other end said this was the operator and put me on hold.  I hung up after 2 minutes and tried to call back.  You guessed it.........BUSY!

Found this number 212-845-9278 on my caller ID.  I called back and either got a busy signal or it just rang.  I'm going to block it from calling again. See person-to-person.net for a device that allows you to do this.

Got a call from this number earlier today and I didn't pick up.  Picked up the second time to hear some guy ask for my husband.  When asked if I could take a message, they asked for his spouse (me), then he put me on hold and was having technical difficulties.  He told me he'd have to call back tomorrow about an urgent personal matter for either me or my husband.  When asked who he was, he repeated it was a personal matter and when I asked him again, he hung up.

Got a call from this number, asked for by first name, I asked "Who is calling?" and a woman with an accent said she was an "operator" - I asked again "Who is calling?" and she hung up...

searched yellow pages.com new york,new york is all i got?
