yes, we were stupid also, received the fax, signed,.... they are asking to send them money now, 1164+42.50+152.07=1358.57 EUR.......
we will ignore it and wait for their further actions..... we have in-house lawers..........

I am from Malaysia. I did received this fax for updating date. My staff fill in and signed then fax back to them. I received an invoice asking for payment. I refuse and they say will proceed for legal action.....

Did you facing the same problem? Need some advice Please.

You are under no legal obligation to pay these dirtbags one stinking cent! The contract sent to you via email, without your prior authorization is ilegal in itself! The next time they call you ask for their full name, phone number and address where theyt can be reached, and arrested! Dirtbags!

Just got one more of their scam faxes here near Paris!

Global Trade Control is trying to sell their "services" her in Sweden, too. Just ignore them.
And ignore their invoices. We had accidentially aggreed with a similar company a few ears ago (maybe the same people involved), sending threatening letters. Nothing happened and after som time the letters stopped coming.

I aslo was stupid enough to sign their fax we received here in Bulgaria/Europe. It was even hard to be read. I wrote in a handwriting style a request on their fax to correct the contact person only as all other details of our company EUROMASTER IMPORT-EXPORT LTD. were correct, and at the bottom I put my signature and company stamp. I was attracted by their script FREE BASIS and did not pay attention to the rest /my mistake!/. Now we receive their letters /by fax only!/ treatening us to pay. An address in Hamburg, Germany is written in their letters, I would go on excursion there one day (-:) never been to Germany, now I have interest to go there!:) THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR NOTES IN THIS FORUM!

Rec'd this fax today. It has so much missing or incorrect information,that, outside of the obvious scam, it is tremedously incompetent and lazy - if it was a legit company.

Major Scam

I was stupid enough to sign one of these things from Globe thinking it was from an existing supplier (Global) without reading it (IDIOT). Need advice on what to do now i'm in the mess. Obviously I'm not going to pay and will ignore communications but is there anything that I can do to get them off my back?

Received a fax today from this scammer.  I knew it was a scam so I'm just shredding it immediately

This fax number is associated with a "company" that tries to scam legitimate businesses out of money. We get calls from numerous agencies like this on a regular basis. They usually claim to be working for some kind of yellow page company who need to update our information for our free listing, & by the end of the call are demanding payment. I've had one call saying our owner asked to cancel our listing & they needed to verify info, & that we had an outstanding bill for cancellation. All untrue! Our owner makes no business decisions & does not work in the office. The fax I received today from Globe Trade Control is just another such scam. It asks for our info, asks for an authorized signature, & then says in little letters that if we sign & return that they will CHARGE us. For what???? SCAM! Please do not give any of these calls/faxes your time of day. Put them out of business by ignoring their requests, or they will scam your business out of all of its hard-earned money.

These clowns at "Global Trade Control" obviously cannot control anything anywhere !

Legally, can they really take 'the victims' to court for non-payment? I was stupid enough to fall into their trap and now keep receiving the invoices and threaten for legal action.

Yeah, I received that too and now they harrash me with "legal department" letter.. I don't know what should I do too.. They are so lame! All the phone number that given by them are not valid. even their customer care center in Hong Kong; nobody is answering the call too.. +852 8170 0796

In Spain we had recieved the same fax from Global Trade Control.
Asked the Police about this fax they recomend to no reply or made any tipe of contact with this business.
If you do it, a year after you´ll recieve a bill to pay 1000? for their services.

Ontario Canada is on their list of places to scam too! Will be throwing THAT in the trash!
