Hello All,
i am the owner of the 212-918-0000 for the last 4 5 years and i havent be able to use this number because i get thousands of calls per year.
after doing some research it seems that most of the calls come from Netherlands and tuitalk a software similar to skype that their site is no longer in service.
"BE CAREFULL IF YOU GET A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER IS A SCAM"
i dont call anybody and the authorities are looking to find who is using the number as the caller ID.
if they call you from this number ask them what number you can call them back and please post it here or reply to me to help track down the crooks.

Got a call 2x today at the ungodly hours of 3AM & 6AM MDT. No message was left.

I was just on the phone with social security, and the automated system asked if I wanted them to call me back since there would be a wait, so I answered "yes", the system then said, "I see you are calling from 212-918-0000 is this correct?" this is very strange to me that it showed this number as my number, if anyone knows how that could happen please let me know, I just can't figure out why this could happen. Thank you.

212 is New York City, sorry it doesn't fit your paranoia about Obama. Oh well, keep trying.

If they're not connecting you to a robo call, why are you so sure that they ARE robo calls and what they're supposed to be about?

I have been recieving e-mails from an Anthiny White stateing he is from Mexico, wanting to buy Industrial sewing machines from us, he also gave me Fast Ling Shippings E-Mail, Which I suspected was false because shipping companies do not have hotmail accounts. We have recieved lots of scams like this but before I do anything I google the freight company and  check it out. We also have a policy never to send money to a freight compny that we do not deal with ourselves.

Customer called to "verify order" was defensive and wouldn't provide proper information...

I had an interruption on my line that this call was being recorded and the next day as I called one of my credit card companies, the automated voice repeated my home number as 212 918 0000!  I tried the number back, and it states not receiving calls at this number!  Report this number!

That is 212 area code - that is washington dc.  If I were you I would call the Sprint people and COMPLAIN OR DEMAND that they refund my money!  THIS IS HOW OBAMA GOT HIS STASH!

I think it's the govt. calling with a robo call myself - look at the area code = 212 is washington dc folks!  They want our support for O's big Job's Plan!  roflmao!

I have 800 numbers for my business and they have been calling each one all day!  I finally went to my phone company and had them BLOCKED from calling!

Jerks - they don't even connect you to the robo call!  dumbasses

My girlfriend is in Europe for spring break and she called me from a hotel in Germany and the number appeared as 212-918-0000. Just thought that might be helpful.

I work at a call center and received a call phone this number today (4/28/11).  The man was very nice at first, asking how I was, acting as if we had spoken before at the call center.  He ended up wasking what the "wildest thing" was that I saw/have done at different times in my life.  He also asked if I ever had my friends fool around in the back seat of my car or if I let my husband drive so I can fool around with him while he is driving.

Received this call through my switchboard at work. Just a "missed call" showed up but when I tried to trace it, you can't. Comes from New York according to the white pages search. Someone had called the number and it was from a company called Integral Communications ... but when you look that up, there is no listing.

I keep getting these calls as well. i will get up to 15 or 20 voice mails every night. ranging from 10 seconds to 5 minuets. It is so frustrating. And my phone company says they can not block the number because it isnt a real number.

A "Rev. Mark Roland" contacted us to purchase 25 chimney caps.  He tried to have us ship these items through his shipping company (Fast Link Shipping) and for us to Moneygram the $3,250 in shipping charges for them to take these caps to Johannesburg, South Africa.  The credit card numbers he tried to use were stolen, so he didn't get any money from us, but everyone needs to be on the lookout for this scam.

Called my business twice saying i was sexy and if i was naked. Sounded like an indian man.

this number is a pc call.  it is from the company tuitalk.  it's similar to skype.

We just recieved our phone and were charged for 2 calls from this number lasting 9 minutes. All we got was a fax machine ringing when we picked up the phone.

I got a collect call from my daughter when she was in Amsterdam.  It confused us because the call showed up as comming from this number, 212-918-0000.  Also, the time of the call is apparently New York time, so it looked like it came in at a time that I wouldn't have been home. We live in a different time zone. We checked back and found that the call time matches when she called us.  Hope this helps somebody else figure out their call from this number.

i've been getting calls lately.  sounds like an Indian man.  has not much to say, sounds mumbly and has called 4 times sometimes from different numbers as well.  Also at different times of day.

(212)9188-0000 and (866)899-1717 are numbers that Sprint keeps trying to charge me for, and has been for years.  Every few months I receive a bill for .20 cents or so from Sprint.  For this, they pay postage and paper costs.  And I do not do business with Sprint, and have told them so. Somebody is scamming somebody.

Same thing happened to us, someone called did not leave a message. When trying to return the call it does not go through and there is a message to check the phone number. 2-12-2008

I got the same thing..2x today already..someone would call from this number and not leave a message..annoying!!!
