I got a call too from this number, while I was on the phone ordering Dish Network too!!!

I didn't even order Dish Network and I just got a call.

This is a Dish authorized retailer (Dish Promotions).  I had trouble establishing service with Dish Network directly and they called to follow up and find out why.  Turns out, he was able to solve the problem the Dish Network in-house people couldn't.

It doesn't bode will for my future Dish Network customer service, but at least I got hooked up and can tell Time Warner to kiss my ^ss!  d;-)

I have just gotten a call from this number, some girl with a strong accent called me about Dish Network... I guess this has something to do with it beause I ordered Dish 2 days ago and it must be an automated system calling all of it's customers.. not good though

JB - same thing that I did. Have had 6 calls within the last 1.5 hours. I shot an e-mail to dishnetwork (per earlier thread). See what happens?

I just filled out an "Online Order" for Dish Network and I deleted the order because it asked me for my SSN.  Now I have 3 missed calls on my phone all within 45 minutes.  It doesn't seem like a cooincedance to me.  Pretty fishy.  Maybe is Direct TV doing it to make Dish Network look bad????  I dunno but either way I'm pissed!  OMG...it's calling again!  I swear to god!  This is pissing me off.

I looked on dish networks website this morning. Had info filled in (no ssn# yet) and found out there was no spot for a certificate number from the friend that referred me. Decided I may just call later. Never submitted anything at this point in time and I have recieved three calls from this number already. They got my number from it just sitting on my screen?

yeah i call dish and directv yesterday too and they have been calln me all day

Just signed up for dish network last night and within 3hrs today I have had odd numbers on my cell that do not leave messages and came to this site and now regret signing up for dish should have keep directv:(

No one says anything when I answer.

This number calls several times a day, with nobody on the other end. It seems to be an automated dialed number.

THIS NUMBER CALL CONSTANYLY ASKING FOR PERSONAL INFORMATION. WHEN YOU ASK THEM QUESTIONS THEY REFUSE YOU ANY INFORMATION AND THEN THEY HANG UP...

caller asked for my s.s. # He said he needed it to find out if my credit is good. Sounds so professional, (I regret it soon after I gave it to them)
He hang up after I gave it to him. I really want to know if they could use this information to get installation for themselves, or any personal information on me? Scary, I don't know what to do know, I am going to the police to report it just in case they ruin my personal information for credit. Help

same thing with me.  I ordered dish on line yesterday and since then have gotten dozens of calls from this number and several other numbers that are apparently associated with dish.  i have since cancelled my installation.  this is ridiculous.

This guy told me he is from Dish network took my SSN and hung up...I tried calling and get busy signal every time. The Caller ID shows up as "ACCP-THE OPTION"

All. I think you will find it interesting that I am getting harassed. And I am not even a DISH CUSTOMER> your comments helped me get to the bottom of this.  I Chatted on line BOTH TIMES... They make you think you have to give your name and number on the Customer Chat service. BUT as you can see below this time i didn't give my name or number... and STILL i was connected.  Sign in on Dish networks website...click on the link and don't fill out any information.... and basically...follow my lead in the conversation!!.. BEST WISHES!!

Called twice today. Calling the number back results in busy signal. My wife was looking for info on Dish Network wesite last night

I was looking to order Dish as well just last night and this number has been calling me ever since several times today, calls and hangs up

I orderd dish yesterday calls started today

Has called every 3 hours today. I am also getting calls from 570-615-0241.

Phone number 212-982-6401 calls my house at less 50 times a day when I come home from work my caller ID is filled with this number and then they call all night long so today I was home and pick up the phone and asked who this was and he was very rude. The funny thing is I don't have the Dish.

Started to get calls today from this number, was looking up dish network prices last night, will keep direct tv now....

I keep getting nonresponsive calls from this number and many similar to it. I wish for them to stop

i went online to order dish network 3 days ago and every  day  i am getting a half dozen hangups. this can not be legal can it?

I only called Dish Network to find out if I even WANTED to change to there service (which I didn't do), and I am now getting these calls from
1-212-982-6401. I have about had it with all of them, Comcast has irritated me to NO end, AT&T has done the same.. and I wont even go into Dish OR Direct!

is there anyway to prevent these calls?

Got a call from this number also.  I called Dish Network after reading this and the rep didn't sound surprised at all.  She just took my information to be removed from the call list.  What a bunch of idiots.  I can't wait until somebody shuts them down.

Casper the ghost on the other end of this call...hangs up.  I just signed up for service, and have forwarded this page to DishNetwork so that they can read all the havoc they are creating.  requested they get me off the call list as I am already a client.
