My poor 93-year old Mom received a call from them and is still so concerned because they mentioned other family members by name. She's hard of hearing but she did say that they asked her to join these other members. The message did not start at the beginning, so she had no idea what it was all about. I reported them to the FCC and hope that these cretins are dealt with. If I could get their info other than the location (NYC), I'd sue them.

The call was a robocall offering to lower my credit card interest rate and the offer was expiring today. Press one to speak to an agent. It's amazing just how fast the agent was able to hang up when he heard the words"violation of federal law".

I have a handy crowd horn within arms reach so I blasted them like I do every telelmarketer I get on the phone...I got a call back from this idiot's "manager" saying that they were pressing charges for assualt since I blasted the phone with a horn...I said, sure if you knew who the hell I am otherwise go F@$k yourself and hung up...within seconds same number called...gave them the horn and hung up...10 seconds later I pick up but say nothing...some angry idiot demanded to speak to "the owner of this owner"...I said nothing, and they began going on a rant using colorful words and some really really bad use of the English language...the second they were quiet I simply stated, how's does it feel being pissed off over phone, and blasted them again with the horn...haven't heard anything since...LMFAO!!!!

the "disconnected" message doesn't mean that the phone number really is disconnected.  It just means that they have found a way to transfer any incoming calls to an answering machine or other device that sends out their own outgoing message that can say anything that they want it to say.

NEVER give out your SS number, I suggest you contact your SS office immediately..

i spoke with them the other day and told the guy i didnt give out that info over thew phone and i asked where he was located and he asked me why are you coming down here and i told i might he stammered and said he was located in germany so i said well i am too he hung

it isnt even just an auto dialer they actually call from there computer these are the worst (computergenerated dialers) wish there was a way to block them

tried to call number back because of course no message and the number is disconnected how can they call 1 minute and the next minute number disconnected???????
it is a scam even if they change phone numbers and THEY DO they will keep blowing up your cell phone even if you are on a DNCL (especially if you tell them you are on one) they just do it from 50 million different numbers i have reported them to the FCC no help it is Credit Card Services google them you will find out it is a real scam as for anyone who gives any information to anyone YOU did not contact yourself is completely STUPID in this day and age of identity theft

Why would you ever give them your information?!  If your stuff gets stolen it's your own fault.

received a call from 2129876544 and they hung up after i said hello..

Call themselves Visa/Mastercard Card Member Services.  The guy hung up when I pointed out that there was no such thing since they are two different companies.

They called my cel phone and it was a recording asking me to lower my interest rate and then to push 1.  I did.  The guy said he could help me lower my interest rate.  I asked him what my current rate was.  He said 14 or 15% .  I said, why do you not know my interest rate?  He hung up on me.

Called me and I had some time to kill...

Tried the ole I need a new credit card because mine were all maxed out.  The very nice young man told me that he could only lower my current rates and that his company was not in the issuing of credit cards.

I told him how life has become a struggle and that I could really use some help and that maybe lowering my monthly bill would help.

He then gave me the sales talk about how his company would lower my rates but I interrupted him several time to ask if that would reflect my current balance...  He continued and I kept interrupting him saying that someone was at the door or my dog needed to be let out.  I even turned the TV up loud and then made believe to yell at someone that I was on the phone.

Alas... he hung up.

This was my second call the first one was from 7033791500 4 days ago.  Possibly the same predective dialer

These individuals are phishing for information.

They told me they represented Bank of America and Chase and they wanted to reduce my credit card interest rate.  I told them I did not have an account with either bank and was not interested and to please remove me from the list.  

They will call again.

Didn't pick up and based on what I'm reading, glad I didn't! Doesn't matter if you are on the DNC list (I have been for years).  They post a fake number on caller ID and do random calling so there is no way to stop them.  If you have the time, stay on the phone, give them a SS # like 987-65-4321 and see if they catch on.

I have gotten this call quite a few times. I never answer. I'm lucky I havent gotten this call as often as you guys have. That sucks. I'm sorry. Hopefully i dont start to get a billion calls a day from it now.

Telemarketers have to purchase the do-not-call list from the FTC, and they have to delete from their calling lists the phone numbers from the registry. Violators of the do-not-call provisions could be subject to penalties of $11,000 per call.

Having your number on the federal do-no-call list will not stop all unwanted solicitations. There are several exemptions to the law. For instance, if there is a "preexisting business relationship," a telemarketer can call a consumer for a period of up to 18 months after the consumer's last transaction with the seller. You can block on Verizon but they just get another number, I get 5 - 6 a day and do not call registry does not help

Just a head's up...if you're a verizon customer, you can block up to 5 numbers for free (not sure if other companies offer this). You can add blocks through your online account or by caling customer service. Once you block it, anytime they call they hear a nice message informing them they have been blocked. It's great. The block stays on for 90 days & usually by then, they give up or have taking you off their call list. I use this all the time to avoid the idiots who manage to get around the DNC registry.

Call your credit card company & cancel that card number. Ask the Credit Card company if any charges have incurred. Alert the 3 major credit reporting agencies

Phone showed call missed.  When the number was called back received a message saying number has been disconnected.  There has to be a way to catch these people.

now that i no this is a scam and they want answer when i call so i texted them back and said if u keep call n me im gone get the feds on ya tales i am on the DNC NOW KEEP CALL N ME.

Why on earth would you be stupid enough to give someone your ssn and credit card number over the phone.
