Called 10-11-13 at 2:26 pm.  I don't pick up the phone

Recorded message said, "Lower your credit card rate... blah, blah, blah. This is the last notice you'll receive... blah, blah, blah." I get these all the time. The number changes but the message is exactly the same.

Now anyone can bother us.  read below.

An automated message asked me if I was interested in lowering credit card rates to press 1. I pressed 1 simply to tell the company to never call me again and to ask why they were calling so late.
After being on hold for over 10 minutes, I hung up.

Just got a call from this number telling about lowering you credit card rates. Last chance, so I hit 1 and just got beeping sounds.....Came up Bernard Hodes on my ID

I keep getting unwanted calls from 0000000000 and 212-999-9999

I just got one also, went to sign up on do not call .gov, and the office is shut down, due to the govt shut down.  thanks for letting us know who this is, called at&t, they gave me directions on how to block these numbers.  yeah...now, to get some peace and quiet.

Bernie is a busy guy - his fingers must be sore from all that dialing!!! (Sarcasm noted here.) 10/11/2103 - 10:22 AM - didn't bother picking up the phone.

I saw this # and name pop up on my caller id, no message. Why can't we get these callers to stop? On NDC list, doesn't seem to help.

Caller ID Bernard Hodes - 212-999-9999 at 2:30 pst. Picked up selected one to get more information - knew it was a scam. 21 people in front of me.  Talked to same number a few days ago and they told me I would not be removed from their list and to enjoy the phone calls. Got tired of waiting, but can't report them because the national do not all is down from the government shut down.  Lame

Too many 9s but Reverse look up says that it is a doctor or dentist in NY.

Same here. When I ask what the call was for "If your credit card balance is $4000.00", I said 'OK', he said "Is it?", my response "You said, If your credit card balance is $4000.00", the jack*** response "Shut Up" then he hung up.
Of course when I try calling the number - constantly busy.
This was to my home phone - yesterday was to my cell from 928-467-4719. Call back to the 928 # gets me a phony, "This # is not operational".
And of course trying to complain to "Do Not Call" is currently impossible as the website says they are shut down. But website is still active to give me the message!!!
These scams seem to come in flurries and then stop for a short while only to resume again.

Follow the law, XO.  Don't let him scare you, call this guy and give him the biggest pain in his corpulent a**hole
This was the number given by XO NYC, and that other info is from linkedin.  PUBLIC INFORMATION, all of it.  He posted his little shining career, now a credit card fraudster defender.  Let him know how you feel.

XO will make the fallacious claim that the number is 'spoofed'.  This is a lie.  The number was 'rented', so no FCC report.  Consequently they take the money and palm us off with lies as only they know the customer, and keep it 'secret' to protect the criminals!.  So, as a result ALL XO Communication numbers are suspect and possible collusion in criminally fraudulent activities.  I have published them all, and I suggest you call them up and FORCE them to follow the law! 999-9999 is a 'special' number.  As CCSCAM have changed from these scum away from Lucre, OUR constant calling and anger and reporting of them seems to have had the effect of CLEC Hopping, as I call it.  So get onto XO and make their lives a misery. You have evidential data from FCC that makes it them, and they are liable.  If you have a website, I suggest you publish on a page your Call Fee Schedule.  I charge $32,784.21 per telemarketing call, but it must be published and the rate available to anyone who asks.  The web is just fine.  Ask them for their billing address and direct them to the webpage so you could send them a 'bill' for their 'order' (ie the ringing of your phone IS the order, get it?) This is commercial policy (as they say, the 'law').  Good hunting.

Caller ID read "Bernard Hodes G" at 1:02 pm EDT. Did not pick up. Vmail about lowering credit card interest. Same message received many times over the last few months, but different phone number.

You fooled me, caller! This totally looks like a real number, and I answered and listened to your spiel and sent you a bunch of money!

Just kidding, this is so obviously a scam that I'm a little insulted. Caller ID says BERNARD HODES G. No voicemail left.

CID said Bernard Hodes G. No one I know and a faked number so NO answer here. Figured it was another Bank Card Svcs call since it only rang 3 times. They haven't gotten an answer here in over 18 months but they still try.

I received a call from these idiots today. It's the old scam about "lower your interest on all of your credit cards" and "this is your final notice". The phone number was 212-999-9999 and my caller ID identified it as Bernard Hodes G. The scammers may be using the real phone number of an actual company, but the call may not have actually come from that company, since I've heard that some scammers are able to mask their phone numbers and input someone else's...

They called iPhone.  Caller BLOCKED from now on.  The number 212-999-9999 is too fake to believe.

You know this is a SCAM just by the phone number the SCAMMERS pass on to the Caller ID.

Message was to lower your credit card Interest. Pressed 1 and a gal came on.
Asl=ked if I want to lower my interest, asked if my balance was over $2,000.00 and asked the interest I was paying on the card. Gave her fake info and then gave her at full 'blast' volume my "Raunchy Cussing/Swearing YouTube Rant"......she was gone in less than a minute.

Those SCAMMERS just LUV that "Raunchy Cussing/Swearing YouTube Rant" because they still keep calling.

It's the same ole credit card interest rate scam thing I get all the time from the same bunch from different masked Caller ID numbers.
