I kept getting calls from 213-111-1111 several times a day almost every day. I finally answered one day last week and there was someone on the other line. He asked for somebody that I didnt know (in really broken english) and I proceded to become very angry and used a lot of profanity at him. Basically, I told him to stop calling me (not quite in those terms though). I also filed a report on the donotcall.gov website. I havent gotten a call now in a few days and I hope that I continue with this good luck!

I'm getting called by 213-111-1111 several times a day...  No one ever answers.  How do I stop it from calling?

I keep getting incoming calls and my caller ID shows only 4 Digits, ie: 1006, 1002, 1111.  I caled my cell provider Verizon, they said the calls were telemarkers from overseas.  I answered once and it was a Pharmacy from overseas ( possibly India).  Verizon said they could do nothing.  Des anyone know what's going on?

This number has been calling us at home and work for days, today I answered it and some who had bad english wanted to refinance my home. It is a finance company as far as I can tell. Itold them I was going to report them to the BBB.

It somebody calling about my mortgage.  I don't have one!  The idiot doesn't speak English.... reading from a script.  I told him a few "kind words",hung up and added the number to my blocked calls list.  Answer the phone and tell them off!

I'm sick and tired of these people whoever they are, they continual call and never leave a message. Generally they call around meal time, but the calling times do vary. I would estimate the approximate number of calls are in the 10 times a day minimum. What good does the do not call list do, if they aren't subject to it or locatable?

I live in Gresham, Oregon, and have been getting calls from this number frequently as well.  It is bugging the heck out of me.  No response, and they even left a voicemail the other day with just background noise.

ok go to donotcall.gov   on the left side of the screen click on file a complaint. the business name is home loans that is using the number, this site will fine them and make them stop calling, make sure you have registered with donotcall.gov or they wont help you, it works, i was getting a call 3 times a day, they stopped it and anothe marketer also

We started to get this several weeks back. I believe this is a program setup by telemarketers to attempt to determine when you are home so that they know the best time to call you and try to sell you something.

Please help us to stop this caller (1 213-111-1111)from harassing us. We get several calls per day and we are very frustrated. It began about 6 weeks ago and we hear from this number every day, at least 2-3 times, usually late afternoon to early evening.

I am getting a call at least once a day  -- no one is ever there  -- usually in the afternoon

I got a real person after I waited on the line. That took about a minute.
The guy on the other end is selling HOME LOANS.  He said he was from
HOME LOAN SERVICES.  I listend to him for a few minutes, then I said I wasn't
interested and I hung up.  That didn't stop HOME LOAN SERVICES. They keep calling.  VERY FRUSTRATING!

we are also on the do not call list, i think this is computer generated and would like to know if someone is just trying to see who is home and when. i googled the number and its not from the usa so i will no longer try to answer it because i'm afraid of getting charged on my phone bill for out of country charges, someone has to do something about how to make this stop!

i get a call from the number 213-111-1111 at least 2 times a day for about 3 months now. we decided to answer it tonight and they hung up on us. i woild love to know who is doing this, getting very annoying

I have been getting these calls for a couple of months now, with a daily frequency  from 0 to 10 times. I estimate I get 10 attempts per week on 4 of 7 days. That frequency makes me think it is auto-dialed. The one time I answered it there was nobody on the line.
I have read (Wikipedia) that 111-111-1111 is a masked number that is used for telemarketing, perhaps this is another.
Some phones are able to block numbers at the handset, that might be a solution.

This number has tried to call my home several times today.  When I answer I hear background noise but no one says anything.

the first time they called I answered but no one said anything.  after that original call, I do not answer the phone.

They keep calling over and over at least three times a day.  When the answering machine picks up, they hang up.  When I actually answer the phone, it goes into a dial tone and disconnects.  This is very frustrating.  My "zapper" isn't blocking it.

After getting 3 - 4 calls every day for weeks I finally answered it.  It was some guy from a call center from India claiming to represent a mortgage lender.  I told him I wasn't interested and to never call my number again.  He gave a big sigh and hung up.  Reported it to DNC.

DON'T ANSWER THE CALL - I found out that these idiots are being paid for what is called "call completion".  IF YOU ANSWER THE CALL - they get paid!  If you don't answer the call - they don't.  It's usually a lending organization that wants you to refinance so THEY make huge amounts of money or it's a warranty company that wants your personal information.
Just DON'T ANSWER THE CALL!!  Turn off the ringer or the phone so the annoying ring won't drive you nuts.  If you have call blocker on your phone - use it.  If you have call trace on your phone - use it.  Then call your phone company and ask them for the number to the Annoyance Call Bureau and have them trace the call.  Then turn them in to the Do Not Call Registry at: https://www.donotcall.gov AND the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) at: https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do.

I have started getting this number on my answer machine.  They left a 1 minute 30 second nothing message.  Just garbage in the background.

Keep getting calls from this number on my work phone. Most of the time when I pick it up I get an immediate dial tone. Just now I got a call and when I picked it up there was a high pitched squeal like they were trying to send a fax.

I reported them to the FCC three days ago after 40+ calls from sh*t head.  I received confirmation from FCC about my complaint and since then calls have ceased. Coincidence I hope not!

The phone rings until I answer it and then they hang up. The last time I actually spoke to someone, he identified the company as North American Loan Network. Just don't answer it.  Look at the clock and the time and report it to: Federal Communications Commission at: https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/1088eform.do.  Make them do their job and shut these jerks down.

has been calling me for weeks now -the number was so supspicious I didn't answer hoping they'd give up , but no.  Since they are calling my cell phone I am at least able to assign this number with a silent ring.  I would still like to find out how to completely block them or better yet get this company stopped.
