had my name ... ask for me ... when wife said he is not here ...they had nasty remark ...sex nasty

I have been called about 3 times i guess, but i never pick up because i dont know the number and they neber leave a mesage. i have tried calling back but there isnt even a ring tone.. I have been told by a few pwoplw that its a company hired by real phone companies (verizon, t_mobil, ect ect) to ransomly diel people cell phones to use up minutes to initiate per-miute-charge rates by using up peoples peak minuts....who knows

This number called and I didn't answer. I tried calling it back and I don't even get a ring. Something is def. not right about this.

Who Calls Me is a great service! I searched for a company behind this number on Switchboard.com and AnyWho.com; all to no avail. It appears like these calls are random-generated autodials because I've started receiving anon. messages on my cell phone recently, too.

I receive about 3 calls a week from this number, I have yet to answer and they have yet to leave a voicemail.  Thanks for the info.  

PS- Can't they get screwed if they are calling when you phone is registered as Do Not Call?????

I have rec'd 3 calls on 8-19-08.....I do not answer calls when I dont recognize the number, hopefully they will get tired and stop. I too am reporting

Their number showed up on my cell. Thanks to all your comments I will not need to answer or call back and will ignore and delete all future calls from them.

Yeah, this number calls me a couple times a week.   I've never answered.  Sounds like a scab operation.  It's too bad someone can't get someone with some muscle to take care of these guys.  If only I had mafia connections....

They've called my cell about 10 times in the last 2 weeks. I don't answer and they don't leave a message.

This company NOVACOM is out of Los Angeles...can't get any further information from them.  I suggest changing your voicemail so they can't get anything else out of you. :)

Received 3 calls from 213-226-0908.  First call no one answered.  Second call no one answered.  Third call my wife answered and they asked for me, when I answered no one spoke.

He called me and was calling me about male enhancers. I told him I had to go to class and then I think he called me a donkey. Very weird, but what was unnerving is that he knew my name.

Called my home phone, asked for my husband when I asked who was calling, of course he had an accent and i could barely understand him. When I told him I was on the do not call list and I was reporting him he hung up. The caller ID # was 213-226-0908. Company name was NOVACOM. I found out by researching on the internet it is a phone company! I filed the complaint with the do ot call list. I can only hope they get fined for this!

3rd sounded like from an airport

Received a call from 213-226-0908 on my cellphone. Caller Id showed the number but no other info. I didn't answer the phone in time and they didn't leave any message.

I am so tired of this number calling me.  They never leave a message and so this time I answered it.  This is how the conversation went:
Me: "Hello"
Them(In very garbled foreign voice:)"May I speak with (I could not make out the name)
Me: I'm sorry.  You have wrong number.
Them: Uh-huh
And they hung up.

I am so tired of this number calling at all hours of the night!  They called at 3 am this morning!  Is there ANYONE that can stop these people????

BTW:  They call my house and my cell.  I feel like I'm being stalked!

Received two calls from this number today; no message left. Not the first time a dodgy caller with an Indo accent offering every supplement under the sun has called. Best you can do is just not answer in my opinion. B*****ds.

These 'people' get your number and call the same way they get your email address and fill your junk folder. Ever open a junk email and find it completely blank? (Answering a call and there's no one there..)

Or try blocking the sender and you get the same crap from another fake address? (Blocking one fake phone number will lead to calls from a new one.)

Worst of all, ever try actually opening a junk email and clicking on the "unsubscribe my email address" link only to find ten new junk senders have replaced the one you got rid of?  (What do you think is happening when you actually CALL BACK one of those bogus numbers?)

Whether you're using Comcast, Verizon, Qwest, Vonage, Time Warner, or anything else...if it uses an Internet connection, they are going to keep on coming. Report them all you want. They don't have to abide by the Do Not Call rules. They're not CALLING, they're spamming. Welcome to the 21st Century.

Caller calls at least twice a day.  Does not leave a message.  When I call the number back, they don't say anything.  Sounds like a solicitor, or a scam.

I get a call everyday between 5:00-5:20PM.
I answered 1st time. It was a foreign accent and very hard to understand. I hung up.
I do not answer anymore calls like this, and I'm getting tired of my phone ringing for I know it's this same number.

Text message telling me to call 213-226-0908 didn't call just went on line and tried to look it up.  recieved a couple of other calls from them but they never left a message.

I got a call from 1-213-226-0908. I did not take it.

On Thursday 5/8/08 at about 4PM, I got that 1-213-226-0908 call from a man with an Indian accent as well. When he was trying to sell me testosterone I just hung up on him. My caller ID listed it as Novacom at 1-213-226-0908. Seconds later I got another call and let the answering machine pick up but no message was left. THAT call immediately after I hung up on him the first time was listed as "OUT OF AREA" on my caller ID.
