Asking too many personal questions. About financial aid to go to school -- but really they have jobs in my area. Bogus call!

Please help the many people on this list by stopping this caller. I do not answer calls from numbers I do not know.

When they call you they are validating that you are the correct person answering the phone so they can sell your information. If they do get you on the line they will be asking you for more information like phone, address, full name etc. The more they get from you the more money they can charge. No jobs really exist. such a scam. Report the number to the Do Not Call registry and they will get fined heavily. Good luck.

this number keeps calling and harrassing everyday same times like they have nothing else better to do so annoying would like to know how to just straight block them without my phone ringing

I got  call from them today. They didnt leave a VM, but have been applying for schools/jobs recently so I called back and got the same as some above "Academic Advising"

I have been searching for jobs lately and using online application sites.  Now I have been receiving calls from (213) 232-0870 at random hours like past 9 p.m. and don't even leave a message.  I don't answer.

There was a lady calling me to ask if I enrolled in college and ask me about debt. I honestly answered. Now I am worried if they would use my information for some unexpected reasons?!!

Stopped the telemarketer short from going through her little spiel!

Received a phone call say identifying themselves as "College Advisors".  I asked the lady if I had ever done business with them before.  She answered no. I told her to take me off of their list, and do not call me again.  I am on the "DO NOT CALL LIST"  If they called me again I will have to turn them into the "DO NOT CALL LIST" as being bothersome.   I have received a call from them almost every day and not answered.  This time I did not look at the caller ID abd answered, unfortunately for them.  Yes I will submit a complaint if they call me again.

Same condition as DSirap. I just applied a job and got the call within 10 minutes. Now I am seriously considering to leave google voice number for job hunting.

Received a call from this number not 1 minute after clicking submit at a job search sight.  It's 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon, I doubt very seriously a technical recruiter is holding his breath just waiting for something to click apply...this is why I bought a magic jack, perfect disposable number when job hunting.

They got my name and number from travelocity!!!!  I know this for a fact.  I used my name with my mothers phone number when biking a flight and they are calling her house asking for me.  Unbelievable.

There is a National Do Not Call Registry that is supposed to take your number (cell or other) off of the proverbial list. It's all automated, but you do need to be calling from the number you're asking to be removed. 1-888-382-1222.

I have been getting calls from this number and another two for the last 3 days. I don't know who they are because I won't answer the phone. I never answer if I don't recognize the numbers. They don't leave messages so I know it's not that important so if it is not important why do they keep calling and calling. I am a disabled person and I don't have patience to deal with this. HOW CAN I GET MY NUMBER OFF OF ALL CALL LISTS? THIS IS CRAZY.

Been getting calls from this number for the past 5 days at least 3-4 times each day.  Spam call with a pre-recorded voice.  I'm just going to block this number even though I'm on the DNC list.  Report these people.

received the call from the above number, saying something about academic advising and asking some questions such as whether I enrolled in college. Not really friendly attitude.

Just more scum telemarketers looking to rip people off using spoofed phone numbers.

Academic advising they call I answer they hang up I call them back and it's an answering machine saying they can not accept any more voice mails I wish they would answer ill give them a piece of my mind and let them know I'm on the DNC list.
