got a call frm this #. it is Halstead Financial Services-debt collection agency. i never spoke with anyone. i dont answer #s i dont knw. they called today from 213-232-9053 and before from 224-935-9046.  could be a scam.

This number is for Halstead Financial Services.  The company has changed names a few times and is listed under numerous scam debt collection sites.  They use scare tactics.  Other numbers that they use are 623-321-2672, 224-935-9046, and 213-232-9053.  

Whoever it is keeps calling and hanging up on me...work and cell. Losers!

Keep getting this auto call with robotic voice claiming to be calling for my employer -- spelling first name but saying last name, giving some account number, and claiming they are calling from "Hals___" (rest of word is garbled) Financial Services -- and then going on to state the matter is being escalated due to lack of response and to call back within 24 hours to 877-220-4461.  I also searched the 877 number on this site and all the responses to this number and the 877 number are that it's a scam.  I believe it is, because my employer actually did call them back once and then slammed the phone down.  They call nearly every day.  Dipchitz.  My employer IS a lawyer.  Get a life.

Here is the solution call them back and on your keypad continuously pound out numbers randomly they eventually will get the message.

This number keep on calling my husbands phone number and telling him the WELLSFARGO is suing me. I told my husband this is a scam. I don't owe Wellsfargo and they're asking my husband for my Social Security number to verify. Those Debt Collectors are bunch of dummies and pretending to be a lawyer too and will harass you if they can. Don't get scare and report them to BBB or FCC to report this Debt Collectors or telemarketers.

Keep getting calls from this number regarding a "confidential" account that they are preparing to "escalate" if I don't respond within 24 hours. I wanted to try and find out who it was so I responded by pressing zero that I was the person they were trying to reach and the man I spoke to (extremely rude and with an accent) refused to tell me the name of the company or what it was regarding unless I confirmed my identity by providing information, which I of course refused to do, at which time he hung up on me saying, "I'm not telling," like a five year old. I attempted to call the number back and reached an automated message that the number was incorrect from the phone service. Called the 877 number that someone else listed here and reached "? Financial Services" (couldn't understand the first word but I think it started with an H. Another website lists the number as Verizon New York...not sure if that's correct or not, but I don't have any Verizon accounts anyway. SCAM! Don't give these people any information about you!

I answered and said hello a couple of times then they hung up. What is the point of a national do not call list when these people harass all of the other respondents and myself day and night?

I have received numerous calls from this number and other numbers one digit different. None leave a message and call several times a day. I finally called the number back seeing as how blocking them only leads to them calling from a different number. A man with an accent answered and said he was looking for someone with a different name than mine.

I get a call from this number on average once a day.  Same situation as above.  No message, call ends after several seconds of silence.

My husband and I keep getting calls from this number. So I decided to pick up and dead silence then they hung up. I don't know who this is but I would like you to stop calling my phone.

Same experience.  No reference to an actual transaction..just trying to disrupt business calls with call waiting to bother people into sending money

This number calls ALL the time. They never leave a message. I finally called them back out of frustration, and they were looking for someone other than me. I informed them I do not appreciate being called at all hours of the day and night, and I am not the person they are looking for, and don't even call me again or my attorney will be in contact with them. The man who answered said the name of the company, but with such a heavy accent I only understood 'financial services'

I keep getting calls from this number and i went to do not call reigstry and registered this number I suggest everyone do the same thing.

one of 3 different numbers used in one day,  leaves no message and all numbers I have researched are from scam debt collectors.!

I returned call after this person called my mom and told me I owed a bill and was trying to get money from me when I told them I get disability and all he could get was 10 dollars he hung up. Twice!!!!!!!
