got the call, said they were from UPS and asked for some name I never heard of and an address not anywhere near me.

.I too am receiving calls from this number. I am fed up with their calls. Can I ask that my number be deleted from theirlist?

I have been getting call from this number 213-241-1000 and 818-654-3600. The automated machine sometimes speak English, and sometimes Spanish. I have tried calling back to these numbers to remove myself from their calling list. I'm still getting calls from them, and I'm getting really annoyed.

I don't live in LAUSD area, my cell phone is in 805 area and receives these LAUSD calls which are an intrusion and burn up my air time.

I dont want to be receiving any more calls from this number. I dont know why i am being notified of something from LAUSD when i do not have any children. Not to mention i do not go to High School and i am not going to college.

For to years I have begged and pledded for these calls from LAUSD to stop. My son does not go there anymore and they are still coming multiple times a night and in spanish. So I get double the call. We don't even speak spanish...... go figure!
I requested them to stop calling my cellphone and now they call my home and work. Lovely.

They need more budget cuts! They dont understand anything! Just change your number. They shouldnt be asking people for phone numbers to begin with, they use this information for PURE EVIL. They need to listen to parents complaints and stop messing with kids. Still looking for California GED info???? As school the school does something evil. You need a GED  to divorce yourself from them! Just think how much more money the school can not profit for EVIL.

My daughter keeps receiving these calls on her cell phone.  She is 12.  I called the number and was on hold for over 20 minutes with a recording "Please continue to wait, you will be helped by the next available agent", then it finally started ringing about 4 times and then it just hung up on me.

Today is April 13, 2012 Just received another call @6;42pm today. I am fed up with the phone calls from 213 241-1000 in the evening  Monday thru Friday and the message is left in SPANISH. Is this some type of joke!!!!Please take my cell phone number off their calling list. NOW this is funny i just received another call 6:58pm. while i'm sitting here typing this message.The voice mail is in spanish and it's A MESSAGE from  SUPERINDENT Los Angeles Unified School District Those are the only words i can make out. THIS IS VERY ANNOYING and i don't understand why LAUSD. Mon- Fri. in the evening. STOP CALLING MY CELL PHONE!!!!!!!!!

I have the same problem as many others: I do not live in the Southern California area (in fact, I live over 400 miles away from the general area), I do not have kids, let alone have them enrolled in any schools.  I get calls from Los Angeles Unified School District, as well as Carson Gore Academy of Environmental Studies (a school in the Southern California area).

I, too, get stuck with automated messages - sometimes in english, sometimes in spanish.  So far, I have been called by two numbers, and had to track them down to figure out who the heck was calling me so that I could report it to the National Do Not Call Registry.  Now, I get this third number (213-241-1000) just tonight...I figured I'd have one heck of a runaround trying to figure out who it is, this time, but lo and behold...the Southern California area, and it has to do with the school district.

This page has been somewhat relieving to me - to see that I am not alone in this issue.  These bozos are out of control - this needs to be stopped. -.-

Only 12% successfully graduate from LAUSD,  you want one of their administrators to take you off the call list?  I bet the response would be: what call list, or it's doing what?  If anyone here has any success stopping these calls, please tell us how you did it.

I HAVE REQUESTED TO BE REMOVED FROM THIS DATA BASE (LAUSD) YET THEY CONTINUE TO CALL.  ISN'T THIS ILLEGAL? I KNOW IS BOTHERSOME TO SAY THE LEAST.  ANY THOUGHTS ON HOW TO STOP THESE UNWANTED CALLS?

I am in my 80's and it boogles my mind as to why LAUSD is calling. Please fix your call list.

WTF? I don't even live anywhere near Los Angeles. Why have I been chosen to be a target for this message (of course it's a recorded message, not an actual person that I can reason with and request that they not harass me)? I am already registered on the national Do-Not-Call list.

I got a message on my company cell phone my kids needs tdap!  I do not live anywhere close to LA.  The next thing we will recieve a tax bill from LA   This is BS!

I receive a phone call (in spanish) at least once every weekday from this #.  I called the number and asked to have my phone number removed from automation.  They gave me another number to call, 213-241-0875.  This number is the "incorrect call reporting voicemail box."  You have to leave your name & the phone number at which you are receiving calls.  I have called this number at least 3 times and I am still receiving calls.  I tried calling 213-241-1000 again but all they can do is give me the voicemail box number.

The only wayt this  will change is if you make it incovnneinet for the people that can change the system.  every time I get a call from this number, I call the Superintendent Office at  13-241-7000 and make their life miserable.  If we all do this it may get fixed sooner.

Yep - this is LAUSD and their call list a nightmare. Don't EVER expect to get off of it. I've called the number to get taken off (213-241-0875) 5-10 times. That does absolutely nothing. I've called the head office of LAUSD and talked to an actual person. They said they'd take me off the main list but I have to call the school too (John Muir Middle School). I called JMMS and they said to call the first number. Ridiculous. I've since called the school multiple times and it does NOTHING. Makes me understand where this guy is coming from...

Sue Spears called from that number. LAUSD I appealed a complaint and she called to tell me she got the appeal. But that is not Sue Spears direct number.

sometimes kids put a fake number on their emergency card because they don't want their parents getting calls from the school, so if you've never had kids in an LAUSD school, that's probably why you're getting calls.

These morons have called me now over 10 times and I have requested to be taken off 10 times! What does it take?

My mom submitted an employment application to LAUSD using my phone number (without my permission). Now I get calls from 213-241-1000, 805-637-7243, 213-745-1100, and 323-932-2266.

I've called back in the past and talked to someone about getting my number removed. They gave me a telephone number, which I can't remember right now, and left a message to have my number removed. But I still get calls. I will keep trying, but in the meantime, I've set my cell phone to automatically direct the calls to my voicemail.

Also, like others have said, I don't live in LA or have any kids.
