Pro Wrestler Hulk Hogan and MMA Legend Frank Shamrock Voice Support For California PAL

On March 5th, 2012, the kids at the Oxnard Police Activities League, one of California PAL's local member chapters received a huge suprise as professional wrestling legend, Hulk Hogan along with legendary MMA fighter, Frank Shamrock arrived to help support the California Police Activities League by filming a public service announcement (PSA) which will be released very soon.

The PAL kids where awestruck by the Hulkster as he spent time talking with them and even took time to shoot some hoops in the PAL gym.  "We are very grateful to Hulk for taking to time to support PAL and speak out about how important our youth programs are in various communities and throughout the state." exclaimed California PAL Executive Director, Gregg Wilson.

Frank Shamrock also took time to talk with the PAL kids about his difficult childhood and how he was able to overcome the many obstacles in his youth and start to make the right choices that led him to become one of the best MMA athletes in the world.

Both men were very impressed by the work that California PAL is doing by supporting local PAL chapters in the community and we would like to thank both Hulk and Frank for voicing their support for California PAL and look forward to their continued support.
California PAL and its 120 local PAL chapters offer athletics and activities that help prepare underserved youth to become a successful part of our future.

California PAL has partnerned with WellCard RX to provide medical Prescription Discount Cards for all of our CALPAL families and to the general public. TODAY IS THURSDAY, JUNE 21ST, 3:22 PM, AND SO FAR TODAY I'VE RECEIVED 4 CALLS FROM CALPAL, WITH THE FIRST CALL RECEIVED AT 8:03 AM, AND THE FOURTH CALL RECEIVED AT 3:11 PM, AND THE DAY IS STILL NOT OVER.

NO TELLING WHAT THE NEXT 4-5 HOURS WILL BRING.

I almost passed out some mexican called me saying his name was John Smith and i was getting sued for some bs. I ran a check on the phone number that called me 5 times in 3 minutes......360 Networks out of Hemat Anza , California principal owner Daniel Ruiz.

Since August this F ing "company" has called 49 times.

California Police Activities League. Thanks to the above person who listed the 1-800 number, I called 1-800-710-4149 and opted out of future calls by pressing a button after listening to a recorded message. But I shouldn't have received the call in the first place, since my phone # is listed with the National Do Not Call Registry, so I submitted a complaint.

Called me at 2:54 pm on a SUNDAY!  The caller ID says "CALPAL".  No message left.  Why would anyone be stupid enough to donate money over the phone to a "charity" that cold calls them???

Yes, I got one of these calls last night. Knew right from the beginning that this was a scam. He kept saying "we help kids in your community...& so on.." I said why don't you call people in your community first. When I started questioning him then he hung up but before he hung up I made sure he heard me say that he was a fraud.

Yep- CALPAL called me- Anthony Demask- didn't say anything just- "Yeah need to speak to the owner." Didn't even want to give his name. I sent him to our voicemail instead, which I handle. Don't got nothing nice to say? I won't connect you then. :)

Rude scammers.  As soon as I picked up my cell phone, they said, "Are you the owner"?

When I asked who was calling, he identified himself as the "California Police Activity Fleet" or similar.  I told him I had never heard of them.  He again asked to speak to the owner.  I asked him, "The owner of what?"  He mentioned my website, so apparently they're getting phone numbers to spam people from WHOIS listings.

I guess this is a good reason to start using Google Voice (blocking numbers), but I'm too lazy to set that up... I wish the "real" phone companies would allow number blocking...

Obvious scam.  They don't even know the name to ask for, yet the person is being threatened w/a suit?  I don't think so.  I suggest the metal whistle/air horn cure.  Should only take once, but if you're at work, a simple hang up will do...repeat as needed.

They called several times asking for the owners name then said that the owner is in some kind of trouble and threatened to sue or wutever. WTF!! If they are asking for donation, there is no need to be so rude and manipulative!!!! They are freakin persistent too!

CALLER ASKED FOR OWNER'S NAME IN A RUDE AND INTIMIDATING MANNER.  TOLD HIM NOT TO CALL BACK AND THERE'S NO MONEY HERE & IF THE I WANT TO DONATE TO THE POLICE DEPT I KNOW HOW TO DO IT ON MY OWN.  NO NEED FOR YOUR HELP.  ;-)

This phone call interrupts us

I have received numerous calls from this number. The second time they called I answered to see what it was about? CALPAL? When i answered they gave their speech and plea for a donation but i had to turn him down... I have just enough to cover bills at this time so no i am not able to participate! He insisted on sending me an envelope so that i can put whatever i am able to donate after my bills..etc... ~ I dont like to be rude or waist their time, i have been there on the other end asking for donations at a job i had many years ago_ and hated that too! I dont like to hang up on ppl but when he didnt take NO for an answer I warned him that I had to hang up! They have called many times since then. It is a hard job and ppl can be rude when you have to make the call- but NO means NO! If i could I would!! QUIT CALLING!! Or I will be forced to get the point accrossed.

Scammers calling for money.

California police, and do not want any more calls from this, it is a scam.

Keep getting the tail end of an automated caller on my answering machine.  Very annoying.  Has called twice already.  I need to be home to answer the phone to see if I can get off the call list.

Called me at home.  Caller ID says CALPAL and the man calling wanted to talk to the owner of the Company.  I told him he had the worng number and then he named our Company but I still told him he had the wrong number.  he said he was sorry and would take our phone number off his call list.  I'll have to wait and see if that really works.

California Police Officer Association requesting a "charitable contribution."

I keep getting calls from this number 2132560057 but I never answer! I decided to do a search on this number and I'm glad that I did after finding out this is a scam number!!
