serveral calls no one say any thing  I WOULD LIKE THE CALLS STOP

Generally calls 3 -4 times a day, mostly evenings. Left a message once just humming a tune like an idiot. Read about them online so I screen all their calls. Now that I know it is just a scam, I am thinking of ways to get some amusement out of this. Someone mentioned blowing a whistle into the receiver.

Repetitive calling to a business line. I just ignore - but has been going on for several weeks. Never leaves a message - but always calls during 'legal' hours.

Has called day/nightly for over two weeks, but never speaks. Very annoying.

They keep calling 2 to 3 times a day everyday. They claim to be a warranty company for my car and I already informed them I had my own coverage and that was a couple of weeks ago. They kept calling and there wouldn't be anyone on the other line. Yesterday I did call back and it stated it was a warranty company and if I wanted to be on the do not call list leave a number after the beep. They called back again twice today.

N.A.D. call every day. You pick up and nobody there. this has went on for weekd

Sooooooo sick of these a-hols. Mine are 8:01 AM & 8:59pm & sometimes in between. Who is NAD? I have tried the LOUD noise's, but still get calls!

I answered. Nothing they just hung up. So I called them back. OVER, and OVER and OVER and OVER. Nobody ever said anything, but I could hear talking in the background. Maybe if I harass them more than they harass me they will quit calling.

I keep getting calls from this person too.  I just got one.  It says "N A D".  What is this?  Who is this?  Take me off the list! Please!

I get calls from this number everyday.  Nobody is ever on the other end.  I called the number to give them a piece of my mind.  The phone picks up and I can hear a girl's voice in the background; then a busy signal appears.   It is pi--ing me off!

I got a call from this # and saw NAD on the ID... I didn't answer. After visiting this site...I'm glad I didn't.

Call from NAD no voice on the phone whether I answer or not.  Calling after 9pm.  I have kids in bed!!

I received call from 213-2560060 and didn't know what they want. first, they asked a person when I called the person, they hung up the phone and the second time I picked up the phone when they called, they just hung up after around 20 seconds while I was saying "Hellooooo!!!

This number should be identified and see Who are those people!

We received at least 6 or 7 calls over the day - always hanging up at the end. I finally heard a voice, I told him he's been calling all day and then he hung up.

Received 4 calls this morning 2/21, no one on the line total silence, called back, got answer machine, if I wanted to add my phone to do not call list....did, we will see how that works

I don't understand why I'm getting these calls where nobody speaks a word! What's the best way to get rid of these calls?

They have called 5 times this past week.  The # 213-256-0060 they did not ask for me by name just used my car as the identification.   They would not leave a # for me to call them back they just hung up the call is coming from Los Angeles CA.

We have been getting these calls multiple times a day since I would say the beginning of the year. It's ridiculous. I answered one a few days ago and they asked for my grandmother (who I live with) and when I asked what their business was they would only tell me their name. As soon as I said she was unavailable, they quickly said "we'll call back" and hung up. Today I answered another one, and they asked for me personally (I told them they had the wrong number and there was no one here by that name). Then they told me they were trying to "track down" a car with the same year, make and model as my car...which I also told them I was unfamiliar with. The man then began to try to sell me some bogus warranty on my car, asking for information like my make and model, etc. I have no idea how many times I told him that "there is no one here by that name, I am not familiar with that car, nor am I interested. Please take my number off of your list". When he asked for my car's info, I told him there is no point in me telling him because I have a good insurance policy, and was very happy with that, and not interested in whatever it is he was selling. I hung up somewhere around the time he was talking about how much repair shops charge per hour...both times I have answered this call, I have tried calling back but the first time I just got a strange tone. Today, it said something along the lines of "You have reached the warranty center, to be added to our do not call list, please say your 10 digit phone number after the tone". I did that, we'll see if it helps. From other people's posts, it sounds like now I'm just going to have to put up with calls where there is no one on the other end, but we'll see.

So my point is, as we all know, this is a total scam. I hope this helps some of you who don't know who is calling you. I would suggest not answering the calls at all...I'm going to try the Better Business Bureau, maybe we can file complaints? Hopefully it works, and the rest of you try too! Good luck!

We have been getting these phone calls for the past couple of weeks, and several times a week.  It is rather annoying to get up, answer the phone, and have no one there!  I like the peron's idea of blowing the whistle into the phone, although I am not even sure that there is a person on the line when they dial my house.  This is ridiculous!

I AM EXTREMELY UPSET BY THESE PHONE CALLS!!!  If someone has the audacity to call my home number MULTIPLE times and either hang up on me, or call repeatedly and not leave a voicemail message then they are absolutely NOOOOO importance to myself or anyone in my family.  This is harrasment and i will be taking whatever necessary measures i need to, to stop the phone calls from coming in.  I have young children and an infant and bogus calls are definately a problem!!!!!

Called asking for someone and upon stating that "sorry wrong number"  attempts to question me to find out personal information.  N A D is a scam!!!!   Please be careful.

Got several calls from NAD. I answered one earlier in the week and it was for an extended warranty on a car I purchased last year. I told them I was not interested, please don't call back.

Now they are calling back and not saying anything. They will call 1 minute before 9pm and 1 minute after 9am!!

I'm considering using a whistle on these calls...like my mother used to do to 'heavy breather' calls...

RUDE caller insists they have legitimate business to call regarding the "EXTENDED WARRANTY" on our "USED" vehicle we purchased last year. I explained we are not interested. Response was "HOW do you know ... I didn't even offer a price". I replied "Not interested in telephone sales...Please remove me from your calling list." Her reply, "We don't have a list". My response "Then your data base". She "There is no data base" Me "Then how did you get the information to call me? I'm telling you not to call again... your number and N A F (NATIONAL AUTO FINANCING) appears on my caller id with your phone number. If I receive more calls, I will report you to the FCC,,," I have had calls like this in the past and what generally happens is.... for the next month or so, the same company/phone number will call back 2 or 3 times per day with no response when we answer the phone... JUST HANGUPS. How annoying. Wish there was more consumers could do to halt this type of harrassment. We cannot remove our landline phone because my husband and I are self employed and have customers that have had this number for over 30 years. We use our cell phones for most business with our regular customers, but need to leave our regular phone line open for referrals. 90% of the calls we get are telemarketers and promotion calls. Phones use to be a convenience...of late they seem to be the burden.
