OI just got a call from the same person that goes by the name Alex Watson just a few hours ago stating that I will be arrested Monday if I don't pay the amount of 268.52 in the next half hour and he told me to send cash only and not credit cards, only cash so I just sitting around worrying about this situation and finally I got to thinking to myself this must be a scam and I talk to my fiance about and decided to go on the internet and type in his name Attorney Alex Watson and came to this the same problem that someone else was going  through. Which is a scam to get money out of me.

I just got a call from a man named Alex Watson saying I owed money, and that he was going to take legal actions if I didn't call him- did the cops actually show up at your job?

I recieved a call today at work using the phone number 707-508-4204 (which is a local #) stating the exact information as every other comment. His name is Alex Watson an Atty. He also told me I was being arrested tomorrow at work, 5/15/12 and my boss was being called immediately to get me fired. My response "this is a scam, you are a liar and go ahead and call my boss!" I am now in the process of notifying my bank and having my info changed, removing my email address and will notify the police if they call again.

@Laura and everyone else.  Everyone please relax.  Once you take a loan of any type (for whatever reasons) that information becomes available to a host of scam businesses and other idiots.  It does not matter whether or not you have paid the loan off or are still paying it...the crooks "Alan Watson' types either pay for the information or are hacking it from the computers used by the original servicing agency.  At one point the Philipines was ground zero for this scam as well a some knucklehead located in Florida...but he went to jail.  So now the scam continues.  Monitor your credit, make a police report, as well as one to the FTC, change your number/block their calls, watch your bank accounts and or switch to a local credit union and get on with your life.  You're dealing with a flesh and blood criminal that knows a little about you...but you don't know anything about them.  That paradigm creates fear when in actuality you have the power to cut the head off this beast...arming yourself with knowledge about what and who they are was the first step in that direction.  Relax, take the proper actions and be done with these clowns.

So I just got a call from this same you guys did and I got very worried because he told me that I signed a loan on line and part of it was true but never went through with it so I never did the loan and he told me that there were going to be police to come arrest me tomorrow...so I was worried that it had actually gone through but then going into it deeper the people that were calling me were indian or some thing like that ( not a racist) but then I went to the police department and checked and there's nothing there on my record on any thing. Then me and my boy friend checked the number and found this page. this eased my mind and am glad that its only a scam! But then got pissed and have a few words that I'm going to say to him. IF THESE PEOPLE CALL YOU REPORT A FRAD TO YOUR CREDIT SO THEY CAN WATCH IT. These people are only trying to scare you! Don't fall for it it's a SCAMMMM!!!!

Got a call at 8:55am this morning and another at 9:50am from 213-261-5790. Let it go to voicemail since I didn?t recognize the number.  A man with what sounded like an Indian accent left the following message...?This message is intended for [First Name, Last Name]. [First Name], the very second you receive this message, I need you or your retained attorney of record to return the call.  The issue is extremely time sensitive.  My name is David Miller and the hotline to my division is 213-261-5790. I repeat 213-261-5790. Don?t disregard this message and do return the call.  Now, [First Name], if you don?t return the call and we don?t hear from your attorney either, the only thing I can do is wish you good luck as the situation unfolds on you.  Goodbye.?  When I called the number back it went strait to voicemail for ?Alex Windsor?...the mailbox was full.  I admit, it freaked me out. I?ve never had any sort of legal difficulty or had cause to retain an attorney. A few weeks ago, I did look into cash advance services, but didn?t move forward with it.  That?s probably how they got my number.  BEWARE...those services say your info is confidential but one or more of them is obviously selling their contact lists to this SCAMMER. I?m so glad I looked up the name and number of the caller online and found this message board. I have AT&T Smart Limits on my cell phone so I?m going to block the number.

I got this same call this morning and threatened them with a lawsuit of my own.  They cursed at me and I recorded their voice.  I called back again and replayed their recording.  They were perplexed.

The phone company should terminate any number associated with this organization.  Maybe we can all file a lawsuit..

Atty alex watson said I owed a payday loan I never got!!!! Then yelled at me called me evry name in the book!! My ole man heard him yelling at me on the phone. So now my ole man and his cousins from other states call alex watson 213 261 5790 nonstop!!!!!! Alex begged them to stop calling lol!! Said we were ruining his business. What business!!!! Everybody should call alex and say HELLO!!!!

I don't know what to do, this crazy person called me probably was an indian because of his accent and he told me i owed them money and was forcing me to give them my bank information or else he said I'd be going to jail 6 months for non payment. I told them i was broke and homeless and  he wished me good luck in jail and my life. I told the guy to f***himself and stop calling. This guy is such an A**HOLE. stop messing with a 60yo lady

I recieved a message last night March 24 and the person that called me said he was an attorney and told me to call another number A.S.A.P or he said I'll be arrested. I called and the indian who answered kept treatening me telling me the I owed on a payday loan and I told him that i have no payday loans. He wished me good luck because on Monday cops were going to go to my job and arrest me and that im also going to lose my job and go to jail for 6 months.......... You know what this guy is such an A**hole I told him to f***off and stop calling me... WHAT A LOSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just received two phone calls today on 3-23-2012 from a foreign speaking lady who says her name is Lisa Brown who cant speak clear english for sh*t!!!!  Wtf!!!  She says a suit has been filed against my social security number and i need to call 2132615790 to speak with Michael Cottle and he will explain everything.  I called the damn number and the mailbox is full.  SOME F**KING LAW FIRM HUH!!!  IM CALLING THE POLICE!!!

I received a call from this company stating that he was a lawyer and was collecting a debt for the $1500.  I told him my husband is also a lawyer please call him to clear up this matter.  He said no lawyer can help you you pay this amount today or you will loose your job.  About 2 min. later he called my workplace.  My workplace telling them the same to call my husbands firm the guy then started calling the lady i work with on the phone " Are you some type of porn star this is a serious matter".  LOL I hope noone falls for this scam

same happened to me this morning. Glad I found this post. I am an attorney and I told him that were I named in a suit I would be served a Summons.  He said "do whatever you want, I'm just telling you."  I suggest everyone ignore this bogus call if you get it.

I got this call today at work and on my cell phone what the $uck! said I was going to jail for taking a pay day loan... I have never had one and he told me at 4pm I would be arrested and that he was calling my job and getting me fired... GOOD luck for I am the boss...

I received a call from this number about 15 minutes ago.  I did not answer as I did not recognize the number.  He did not who he was with, just gave his name, Marc Wilson.  Did not say what is was regarding.  He just said me or my attorney need to call back as soon as possible.  He was hard to understand with the Indian accent he had.

I keep getting this phone number call on my job.  They have a heavy accent, and said they were a legal firm, and that I owed money.  I just hang up on them, because I know I do not owe out money from a payday loan.

I received a voicemail from this number today,the guy (james reed) asked me to call him  back because someone filled a complaint and if I don t call him back he wishes me good luck for what will happen.
I called him back,and he told me that I took a loan .....blablablabla...........,and I told him that I never took a loan and he can do what he wants and I end up the phone.

plus i have identy fraud thru my bank and theres no activity from any payday loan company or shady bank

i just got 10 calls from this person, i cant wait til he calls me back. we all have proof with our bank statemants showing that we didnt recieve any loans so im not trippin plus im recording every call that comes in and what he says!!

I got a call from Alex Watson saying that I owe him $1500.00 and that the police are going to come to my work tomorrow and arrest me.

I just called them and told them I am filing a law suit against them. He said Sorry I don't understand you and he hung up.

These people called threatening me saying that I was going to be locked up. They were saying that I had a payday loan, which I did not.

Samantha called me....an asian woman.  LOL  Left a message and I could not understand 1/3 of it.  But seriously.....Samantha?

Some asian-sounding woman called for one of our employees.  She left a voicemail when I was out and I couldn't understand 1/3 of what she said.  However, she did say "good luck" if this guy doesn't call back like it was a threat or something.
