I got the same call.  Now they won't stop calling my phone and my work.  How do you stop them from calling?

The guy on the other end of the line also had a thick East Indian accent and said that I must have my lawyer call this number back and speak to the lawyer that he works for, because he is just a paralegal. They called me to my job and because I did not believe him he tried to called my supervisor.  He threatening me to come to my job and drag me and to even get me fired.  The Indian called me from 510-256-0359, I am from California and that number is too.

Justin Hall (801)660-4970 (probably some pre-paid phone out of Kayesville, UT ) left messages on my cell and workplace threatening for the 1st call to be the "last" to attempt to collect. For which I was being "sued" for and even left a claim number. Also left a call back number of (866)922-5107 (Thank you for calling Oakwood) (Based out of California according to Tyler). I did call and gave the claim number but did not confirm any info. for which they called to "verify". I also called back, to request an address and/or website where I could see what other legal services they provided, and got hung up on by a "Tyler" and "John" twice. Called back, and told them I needed to send them a letter from my "Attorney" and needed an address. I did all of these under a blocked number, and got hung up on but not before being wished a nice day. DON'T FALL FOR THESE CALLS, FIGHT BACK! BLOCKING YOUR NUMBER WHEN YOU CALL THEM BACK, MAKES THEM SWEAT! You've been UNMASKED YOU S.O.B.'s. Can't wait for the Feds to come knocking at your door "OAKWOOD".

Any one can check to see if a warrent has been issued for you or another individual by calling your local sherriff office. This public information. From one state to another the warrent must be handling with due process. Not the FEAR FACTOR that these idiots use.

Recieved a call from this number - lady with heavy Indian accent from LA, Californioa - demanding that I must pay an outstanding or a warrent will be issued. When I plkace this call on my Do Not Distrub list - a call came into my school and my room from the same person. I realized that these scam artist sell their listings to other scam artists and cycle repeats it self. I called the California Attorney General and they told me to go www.ag.ca.gov to post a complaint.

I have been going thru the same thing - I get phone calls from a Jim Morris & Alex Watson - saying all the same things.... I'm going to be arrested etc.  I initiated a pay day loan, but did not pursue anything, never received funds, etc. & now getting these irritating phone calls.  I have put a fraud alert on name & social with Experien & filed a report with the FTC & have a friend who is a police officer - said no worries, but I will file a police report today.  Try to be patient & wait them out - eventually they will go away - but watch your credit & bank accounts closely.

i received the same call from these people just this past monday, saying that i would be arrested on my job by four pm, and i was scared. they new so much about me that i got freaked out (where i worked and my email address) i didn't verify my social, but who knows what they knew so i have since taken precautionary measures with my banking, social security, and the credit bureaus and so on. if these people contacted you i strongly sugguest you do the same. i checked with the check fraud dept in my city and there are no checks against me and no warrant for my arrest. i do currently have a payday loan, but it's in good standing. i was so mad that for two days strait i called them on my breaks, my whole lunch hour and so forth, saying the most deragotory racist things i could think of. i also to pains to try to trace the 2132615794 # i could be wrong, but what i could find was that this # is a land line that could be linked to this office building in  downtown los angeles california. (obssessive i know, but i cant help it i am by no means a forgiving person) but here is what i could find, and if you were called from this # 2132615790, it to is linked to this address.

stupid b*****ds called me saying that i was gonna be arrested by 5 pm by my local sheriffs office and shipped down to california for check fraud money laundering and another charge. when i asked them why in the hell i  should pay money for something i never recived he wished me good luck and hung up on me. today i recived another call from another number say they were the federal department of prosecution and affairs heavy accent so i called them every name in the book and told them that i had made a complaint to the fbi, atc my state attorney general and my local sheriffs office which i did. he then started begging me please sir dont do that, no sir please dont. then begged me not to hang up, if you get these calls report them to

I AM RECEIVING THE SAME THREATENING MESSAGES. SAME THING HAPPENED AFTER I APPLIED FOR A PAYDAY LOAN ONLINE. THE CALLER IS INDIAN OR SOME OTHER NATIONALITY. I CAN HARDLY UNDERSTAND HIM. HE IDENTIFIIES HIMSELF AS OFF CHIRS MILLER OR OTHER NAMES. HE CALLS CONSTANTLY THOUGHOUT THE DAY ON MY CELL PHONE AND AT WORK.

Just got a 20 minute call from 813-260-1595 and 213-261-5794 with some eastern india type male was first advising me that tomorrow (3.30.2012) I was going to be arrested for fraud against American Pay Day Loans. When I tried to tell him that I have never dealt with a company by that name and have bank records to prove it, he just kept telling me about being arrested. At first he said that he was not collecting any money, just making me aware that the Police and agents from the law firm of James & Jackson would be arresting me tomorrow. 20 minutes later he is telling me that if I go to a Walmart and ask for a GREEN DOT money card and give the clerk $960.00 to open the card, then call him back with the card number, he would settle the matter. I told him "thanks, but I have the 20 minute conversation on a digital recorder so I think I'll go to the Police" and I hung up. When you file complaints about these people, does anybody EVER do anything about them.

Same as all the other post i have read.... a guy with accent constantly leaving me messages...."I must call back or i will be arrested etc."

This Indian speaking guy keeps telling me he is from a law firm and I borrowed money from someone ( I didn't) and if I don't pay it back I will be sued.

Just received calls starting today from this number.  
The message is the same, they need me to call back or have my attorney call or they would turn it over to the police in my city.  
I have been getting these calls from another number, 866-878-2551.  The message is essentially the same.  I did talk to an attorney and they called the police who told me he ran the number and had several
pages of complaints.. He also told me the number was off shore and the United States had no
jurisdiction to anything.  He also called the number and they hung up immediately when he identified
himself.

What did you do with your social?coz they probably have all my information. I just got the phone call today and dunno what to do.

I just got a phone call today from that indian dude he left a message to call him back and they called my job they said they had to investigate me. I called back it always go to a voicemail but a lady picked up she said she's a lawyer and she pulled my information she told me that they will arrest me this afternoon so I search on google and saw all your comments. I called the police to report it and they told me its just a scam.

I am sick of these rude irritatating call's. I am disabled and very ill, they call and scream demanding my SS#.  I have turned them over to the Chattanooga Police with my cell phone.  They are working with the LA P.D. To expose these frauds!  The number is 213-261-5794.

This guy with a Arabian  voice calls me 3-26-12, with the same crap about i needed to get a lawyer and he wished me luck blah blah blah. I knew it was a load, but i called back just to understand what the deal was, they said it was some law firm and the i had a pay day loan that needed to be paid back, well as it is i did not have any pay day loans or any kind of loans for the fact. he threaten that i would be picked up by the law sometime today. news flash to this guy if he so much as thinks he will threaten me, mess with my ss# or try any fraud upon me, well good luck to the sorry sb! i'm reporting this man and his associates to everyone i can possilbly think of. SO I WISH YOU LUCK NUT JOB!!!!

This person has started to call my job.  I don't know what he's talking about because i don't owe anything.  When i called the number back it said the mailbox was full and unable to take more messages.  Before he called my job he called my cell phone bu i didn't answer.  Sounds like a Scam if you ask me.

This guy started calling us three weeks ago and everytime he asks us to call him back i do and then he goes off on us telling us we need to contact our lawyer which we don't have one and that we are being sued but he won't tell us by whom. its driving me crazy, he asks for my social security number and i knew from the begging he wasnt legit, but he won't leave us alone. Im going to be conacting my local police department and filling a report of harrasment and then we will sue him as soon as possible.!

John Miller from State Affairs said that I needed to contact him, but would not give information on who he actually worked for.

Got the very same call yesterday from those people. The told me I had taken out a payday loan and never made any payments. She then told me that the police would be at my job today at 11 am to arrest me, that I would lose my job and be sent to jail in California for three years. I quickly hung up the phone and contacted the FBI, ABI and my local police station and gave them the number that they called from. And for good messure contacted our family attorney. When I tried to explain to the rude lady that I have never in my life even applied for a payday loan she told me to save it for the judge and that she couldn't hear my denail. She then began to tell me that I infact did this and she didn't care if I used the money. I owed over 3500 dollars and that they were going to get their money. I set there number to go straight to voicemail. There really isn't much that anyone can do in this situation other than put a fraud alert on your credit, call your banks and the correct authorities. Good luck to anyone else who recieves a call from thse people. Hopefully you do your homework before its too late.

I received a call from the above number,the man with a heavy accent,said he was from consumer affairs,and I needed to call Micael,for further information. I call Micael,but his phone was full and could not get anymore messages. About 5 minuets later he call again,this went for about 20 minuets.. Than I told the man what is this all about. He said call Michael on this number.(213) 261-5790 so I did,Micael answer. He said need your file number,what file number you are taking about. Than he said your cell is this,he mention my cell phone number,I said that is correct. With strong voice he said your going to jail,there is warrant for your arrest,I ask for what? He said you fail to pay your loan,I said what loan,He again said your are going to jail Lupe.Than he hung up.The so-call Michael is suppose to be the consumer affairs Lawyer,and his tyrant attitude scares people. I don't  need,that, I have heart problems.This people ruin my entire day.What action can I take against this people.Is there anything the police can do to stop this people from making this unwanted calls?

Ok just for the heck of it I contacted my bank and they put some kind of security thing on my account, I also reported it to the internet crime place.

I just received 2 calls from these people and when I called the number back it said the box was full and they havent called back since then, what can these people do to you besides threaten things.

This people freaked me the hell out i about had a heart attack as I have never had any problems  with the law but i will make sure that this people get reported to everyone that I can contact

Just got a call - same story as others.  Man with thick Indian accent.  Wanting to talk with an employee.  Get a clue - we do not allow personal calls as work.  If you idiots claim you have a legal matter with the employee then you should have their correct contact information.

There is no attorney to go after Eileen, they are not in the US. This is extortion fraud, there is no debt. They are mobsters and peasants from India and virtually "untouchable"...excuse the pun. All you can do is tell them you have seen the FBI warnings and the recent news of arrests and that since you are aware it is a fraud, you will not be sending any money. Hopefully then, they will take you off their dialer.
