I received a call from a man named Kenneth Webster, stating he was calling on behave of a Loan company.  He claimed that a police will be at my job in 2 hours if I don't pay.  Is he crazy, Mr. Webster with a thick accent.  I flied a IC3 internet complaint.  Do not give any information out!!!!

this number 213 2616494 and also 4159527351 called me and told me that i received a loan and i havent repaid it.....that was fraud and that if i did not pay it i was gping to jail today..i am getting calls from them and the men name are michael carter and kenneth webster. they said  they are coming to arrest me today  because i havent made any payments. they scared me. .

Today was a horrible day for my boyfriend and I. He got a call from this exact number, and they said he was going to have a warrant issued for his arrest if he didn't pay $900 by a certain time! For some pay day loan or something! They even called his work! They told us to go to CVS pharmacy and get some type of card? I think it's called a vanilla card? I guess you put money on it and give these people the code on the back they ask for and the money is theirs. We went and took out $900 which was all our savings. Anyways, Thank The Lord above the CVS employee opened my boyfriends eyes and told him it may be a scam. My boyfriend came back outside in the car with our $900 cash in hand. He said the employee said he's positive it's a scam and go to the police. Sure as all hell, I researched the number and it was a SCAM! I wish my boyfriend knew better, let alone I should have too. It sounded real though. If it weren't for that amazing CVS employee stepping in, we would have been out $900. I ended up calling CVS later that day and thanked him! I learned a valuable lesson I will never forget. I can't believe we almost fell for it. I forgot the guys name but the girl was Michelle Brown. It's just insane these people don't get caught.

yea you guys got off good the call i got was from micheal murphy from la county sheriff dept telling me the person from dept of legal affairs had sent my file over the him and that on tuesday i will be served summons and arrested for bank fraud....wow these people of the hook too much.....

This phone # has been calling my phone several times a day. Doesn't leave message untill the other day they do he says I better pay or else. He says I better call back or have my lawyer call or else. Doesn't say why I need to call who is where is calling from just I better call them right back or I will need a lawyer. After that phone call the next day they call my work and leave a message with there name phone# because I was not there. Now that is not called for at all. Now I'm calling the police and filing a report.

They called us yesterday and started leaving a message that we still have before my husband answered the phone. It was a man saying that my husband was in big trouble and needed to call his boss Michelle brown before the end of the business day ( mind you  he called at 5:30) or they would have to take legal actions.We couldn't understand a single thing he said because is accent was so stinking thick. We called the number and got a voice mail that is apparently full but it says it is a law office. We live in Colorado who do I contact to report this here? It is obviously a CA number so do I call someone here or in CA?

I recieved a message from this number from a guy that I could barely understand telling me I must call him back it was time sensitive. I called the number and it says something about legal department and investigations but the mailbox was full. I have no idea what this is so I googled the number and it seems that a lot of people are getting these calls with threats.

I guess they are back at it again. Just received a call from a David Smith from  213-261-6494 on my job, with this same scam. They call at least once a month changing names and phone number. As soon as the guy started I cut him off and told him to stop calling and his name number was will be reported to BBB. That last time one of these nut jobs called they were very rude, so I just cut to the chase!

A**HOLES called and kept asking questions that i wouldn't answer. they said there was a legal matter pending against me and i kept asking what it was. they avoided and avoided and avoided and when they tried confirming my address, they said that the sheriffs were coming to the address tomorrow to arrest me and that i was going to jail for 6 months, and that that was for sure. i tried calling back after they hung up and it just says the magic jack customer i reached is busy. i am so mad

This man suposably named Rob Miller, which was not his name because he was Indian and could barely speak english, called my work and told my co worker what the company was and gave a number I had to call back the fraud investigation department or whatever it was supposed to be, and my call went straight to voicemail and said mailbox full can no longer receive messages. So I decided to call again later, and a woman answered, she also could barely speak english, I had to spell my last name for her 10 times because she didn't understand english. Then she asked me to confirm the last 4 of my social and I said not until you tell me what this is in regards to, and she said ok bye and hung up as fast as humanly possible. This is a scam! Do not give any information to this company!!

Really pissed. This morning I was on the phone with my dad and got a phone call in which my caller ID read "Los Angeles, CA (213) 261-6494" . I didn't answer because my dad is more important than some random a** unknown number. But when I checked my voicemail I thought that maybe I should return the "time-sensitive"  call. The guy picked up had a really strange accent, knew my social and place of employment. Now, I can't lie I'm on probation for D.U.I charges and this is my last month. I wasn't scared because I knew if anything as far as "warrants" were concerned it is a violation of my probation. I began asking routine questions to the dude with the f****d up accent. Such as "what is the name of your company" he gave me a phrase not a company name. I ask his name he said Michael Smith. I asked him who was David Smith that called me a minute ago. He stated he called me a minute ago. I guess he couldn't remember his name. :-0 He had my social security # and knew where I worked. He tried to get snappy with me. This is where I drew the line. Everyone needs to report this number to the FTC, BBB as well as your local police department. If they have your social there are too many things that you can be accountable for at their fault. Just think about it. An Address, Phone Number and Date of Birth are truly all you need to apply for a credit card or online payday loans which can be deposited to ANY routing and account number. Let's Get these b*****ds off the phones!!!

this people call me to my job, many time....... this number has called my phone saying that i will be arrested. they continue to call demanding that i send them money. what can i do about this, this it to much

I just got several calls from 213-264-6494 & 214-771-7151.  

Spoke to a heavily accented man saying that I was being sued and that I needed an attorney When I tried to find out what it was in regards to they informed me it was in regards to a pay day Loan I recvd and never paid back.  I informed the man he was mistaken and I had never had a loan to save my life, He hung up on me.  I called the Number back and when he answered I stated, I refuse to believe that a company is this unprofessional if trying to collect a Debt and asked if there was an issue with the phone lines?  He Proceeded to tell me No, No iss I will not do dealing with a theif.  I said "Excuse me?  A thief Steals something, You will need some facts to back up your accusations and he hung up on me .  So I did what any pissed off Responder would do .... I bombarded both #'s Continuously for hours only to keep getting hung up on then at some poitn I got a Call from My Pay Day Reflie from a man called Jake Matthews 866-593-2567 stating he could help me consolidate my numerous Pay Day Loan Amounts and asked for my accout #'s and amounts .......  Tight Jake Nice Try   I also Reported these #'s to The FTC.  

I think everyone should call these #'s over and over and over and file complaints online with the FTC as well

It is a scam.  If you apply for a payday loan your phone number/information is sent everywhere.  These people somehow get a hold of it and call threatening arrest/collections.  You may also get calls from "Auto Loans Network"  with the same accented people.  

I tell them that their voice turns me on and they never call me again after.

They called and left a message saying good luck in prison if I don't call them or have a lawyer call them right away. But when I call its always a full mailbox. I called a detective friend with the local PD. He said it is a scam out of Nigeria. These people need to be caught asap.
