some one keeps calling me from this number.

this number called me pretending to be capital one and saying i owed 800 dollars then when i asked what they had as my social security number and birthdate they hung answered wrong then hung up.

they keep calling my boyfriend at 530am. they wont tell him why and they ask for the phone number and not being able to 'look it up'. now i'm on a total harassment campaign. i've called them 5 times today already and keep saying freaky things to them. i tried to order 25 pizzas and when 'Devon' identified the company I said "this isn't Capital Pizza? Oh yeah, a pizza place would be to professional to call me at 5am." this is so fun and i have the day off!

I recieved a call from this number. It was listed as annoymous. They continued to let the phone ring and ring. Finally I took the phone off the hook and left it on the floor. A minute later I put the phone back on. They love phone harrassment.

On numerous occasions someone from this number calls my home, and is actually very abusive, I have no idea who or want they want, and cus at me like I have done something wrong, this has to stop! Everyone who has received a call from this number should stick together and form some type of abuse and harassment group, who know how many people they call that are afraid to speak up!!!!

This number has been calling me several times a week for a month.  When I answer, no one says anything.  They leave messages (when I don't answer) leaving a reference number and saying they are from capital services.  I do not have a Capital One account of any kind. My caller ID always says "private caller."

My wife received two calls today from these people. they asked for a person with a similar name to my wife. When we confronted them with the coorect info for name, they wanted to have me verify her SS#. DUH. Call capital one and complain. we don't even have an account with them.

Company keeps calling and leaving an automated message with a callback number and reference number. Since the company won't even identify themselves when they call I haven't bothered responding.

i got multiple calls from this number today, blocked name but visible number.  they left no message.

this # has called me time after time. I called and they said they "didn't Have the #" then ask for my SS#. Like im dumb enough to give it to them... they will not tell me what kind of comp. they are, I think they are trying to get SS# to take people idenity.

Had been receiving daily calls from this number for last several months!.  They would never leave a message, nor would anyone be on the line when I picked up.  I called them back and they had been calling for somebody else and I have no idea who this person is.  Said they would delete my number and I wouldn't receive any more calls but it did not happen, called them several times but they still keep calling me on a daily basis.

I've received repeated calls from 212-270-6711 and 213-270-6717 to a number that I keep to use for outgoing faxes only, nothing else.  No one has this number; so I figure they are calling someone else.  Thanks for posting that this is a call from a collection agency.  Lucky them, they are getting my fax machine.  For some reason this makes me feel all warm and happy inside.

A collection company calling on behalf of Capital One. Called me several times trying to reach someone who apparently used my # in the account.
