This number called my cell phone yesterday, no idea where they got the number. Showed up in "missed calls", so I didn't speak with them. Another scammer, great.

I have attempted to get a hold of Welk Resort to let them know about this, but no cigar. So I put the following review for them on Yelp since they have answered bad reviews:::

Let me be clear about this: I don't know anything about Welk Resort, other than the fact that they have been calling me asking for my fiance for his credit card number, using a Los Angeles number. We do not have credit cards, and we have NEVER stayed at any of their resorts.

The woman I spoke to tonight INCREDIBLY upset me, when instead of saying who she was and why she was calling, she simply asked if my fiance was available. Instead of answering her, I said "may I ask who this is and why you are calling?" she very rudely said "Well, is this ____ or not?" I told her that it wasn't, that I was sick of the calls, and to never call this number again, that my fiance doesn't need whatever they are trying to give.

Upon looking for an e-mail address in the off-chance that this is a scam and not actually Welk Resort, there isn't a way to contact them for something of this nature.

Welk Resort, if this is not you calling me and my sisters-in-law, then I certainly do apologize for this review, but as there is no number for me to call at 7:30 pm, and I'm sick of these calls, this was my next bet to get your attention that someone might be using your company name for a scam.

However, if this is you calling, please teach your employees that "wrong number" means WRONG NUMBER. My fiance and I do not have the same phone number, indeed they even have different area codes.

Calls repeatedly around 730-800 pm. Hangs up or a message plays saying Please hold for the next available service rep. It is a Telemarketer that refuses to stop calling even after told expressly to NEVER ever call again. These people need to be Fined by the FCC or investigated for harassment.

Complete Bull. Never went to the Del Mar fair but they say I won in a drawing. Free trip if I listen to a 90 min luxury golf cart ride. Don't get fooled. Hang up!

Scam. Lady didn't even know my name, but said I won a contest I never entered for a vacation. Tried asking me personal questions, and then hung up when they realized I wasn't about to fall for it.

Total scam. Don't give them any of your information. Lady started to ask me questions after saying I won something that I never entered, and then hung up when she realized I wasn't gonna fall for it.

Time share pitch.  Say they got number from drawing I never entered.

It is Welk Resorts. I made the mistake of filling out a little form for one of their salesgirls at an LA Kings game....2 YEARS AGO!!! They still call. Daily. Someone send them a copy of Glengarry Glen Ross.

I have received calls from all three of those numbers in the past two weeks.  I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.  Thanks for the info.  It's very helpful.

Just got a call from this number...caller ID listed as Soleil Communications.
Operator started out by saying I had entered my information at a "touch screen promotion" at the LA County Fair.  I cut him right off and said that I hadn't been to the fair in years, and hung up.

They called and said I was entered to win a trip to Hawaii, San Francisco, or Las Vegas. That my name was entered at the San Diego Fair. Sounds sketchy.

213-284-3909.... Welk resort will never stop... Every time I tell them to stop calling the start calling from a different number.. Total harassment, they have been calling me for over a year and I have called them 4times demanding to be removed from list and have also told the numbersthat continue to call. Keep a list of all their numbers and report them to the attorney general... They are more aggressive then debt collectors!

I keep getting called but no message. When you call it, you get the "Lawerence Welk resort" They try to get your personal information and a credit card to hold your hotel room you supposedly won.

I got a call from them earlier today and 3 days ago as well. They didn't leave a message either time. All I know is that the number appears as an Los Angeles area code

I called it back: "Thank you for calling the Lawrence Welk Resort. Our operators are busy. Please leave your name and number and we will get back to you as sson as possible.."
