I got a call at 4:00am this morning (May 2 '09) from these people. I don't know who they expect to reach at this hour. They leave a message but it's blank, and no one answers when I call back.

Got a call from 213-286-6600 at exactly 18:00 EST, which suggests an autodialer.

Received call on 4/29/2009 at 1:27pm CST. No one was on the line, no background sound.....just silence.

Bet you a buck this is fraud... They are dialing 800, 877, and 888 numbers... and receiving back payments for driving calls to the telcos supplying those toll free.

Today, Saturday, April 25, 2009, at 2:56 a.m., PT, I received a call from this number. When I called the number I received an automated message which said, "Lines are temporarily busy, please try again later 0106." I do not know if this helps anyone. I do not know what the number at the end of that automated message, i.e., "0106."
I have a toll-free telephone number to provide support, education, advocacy, just to listen, etc. for people who are suffering with Eating disorders (all types, both sexes, all ages, etc.), alcohol, drugs, Bipolar, Child Abuse (all types), Domestic Violence, Rape, etc. I just find it rude because I take what I do very seriously. When I answered the phone no one said anything. I am willing to try to find help for anyone who is suffering from the abuse issues and their family members, etc. because I know that they are also suffering, but in a different way. I just thought that I would post this. I guess it's good to know that I'm not alone and in good company. Thank you. Take care.

Just received a call at work from this number and no one responded when I answered the phone.

This number called my work number and there was no one on the line once I answered.  Sounds like SPAM to me.

I would like to know who the provider is.  I work for a call center and am paid .15 a min for talk/order time.  Someone from this number is continually calling and making prank phone calls, which does cut into my time and $!  If you would provide it, I would like to contact them to see if there is something that they can do about tracking this person who is making these childish calls.  Thank you!

The caller is using a VoIP provider and is not configuring their caller ID, so the provider's default caller ID # is used instead. I know the provider but I feel that is irrelevant. They are a great company and it's the spamming customer's fault, not the  provider's fault

we are a medical tourism company and we are getting frequent from this number and when we call back,there is no response.

It is actually a number for internet VOIP phone service that serve a lot of locales.

VOIP phone is different from the conventional phone service, check it out.

I received a call from this number on my business toll-free number. Went to voicemail and I had five minutes of dead air on this message. Very annoying as I pay for minutes used on this service. Tried calling the number back and got a message that the number was not available from my calling area.

Go to your local Police department and file a report.  They can go to the carrier and put a tap on your line.  Just because 'normal people" cannot see the correct caller id info does not mean the police and carrier can't.

Received a call from this number at 8:35AM on a Sunday morning. I didn't answer and no voicemail was left. My 877 toll-free business line rings to my cell phone, so I don't know if the caller was calling my cell number or my toll-free number.

Got one today from 213-286-6600 was dead air then it just disconnected.  9:19am CST

How can we stop this number! They are robot calling all our clients and running a tab on our furnished 800 number.

Does anyone else on here use RingCentral as your service?  With this being a CA # and their HQ in San Mateo, I'm starting to suspect their earning money by using someone to call numbers and leave blank 5 minute messages to drive up revenue.

Could be. I got a call from this # to my kall8.com 800 number, but didn't let it go to voice mail. It was just dead air. Caller ID said the # was from Los Angeles.

Got this number calling me at fricking 4am this morning...RingCentral user here!   Luckely RingCentral has a handy 'Blocked Caller List' under Preferences.   Just add this number to the blocked call list and problem resolved!

Got a 5 minute dead air voicemessage from this number today. I too am a Ring Central user and blocked the number. Very irritating. Some people have nothing else better to do that waste other peoples money and time!

I am not a Ring Central user, they called our 800 number today and wouldn't talk.  When they can "fake" the number showing on caller ID, it's hard to find out who they really are.  I have turned in many people over the past 6 months for this stuff.  I file a complaint and they quit calling.

I'm also a ring central user and rcvd a call yesterday.  Long msg time, no msg just silence.

Got a call today from 213 286 6600.  Who is it????

213 286 6600 spammed us today on our 888 business line.  Occasionally we receive these type of calls.  There must be a listing of toll free numbers that an auto dialer is calling.  A brief dead air voice message was left and it followed the same pattern as described by others above.  

If someone has the ability to end this nuisance please take the time to do so.

Follow up comment, We have a kall8.com account that messages and phone calls are forwarded to certain employees.
