James Richmond is the same as James Robinson, scam artist giving away cars and money, buT you need to send him money first!
As James would say, "Have a Blessed Day!
My Mom just got the same call from this #,said hello grandma, when my mom asked who is this they refused to answer,so my mom just hung up,name on caller id came up Weston Solution in Mich., I hope that lil prick gets popped!
got a call from 213-286-9999...picked it up, no answer in the back.
Recently started getting calls from this number several times a week. Caller's connection is usually very garbled as is the voice on the other end when there is one. They seem to very interested in your credit cards and in trying to get you to give them personal information. Finally I put the number in my phone's call blocker.

This number is one linked to individuals that pull Granny Scams on individuals.

Scam number called no message - caller id says just the number & Los Angeles, CA
Calls 4 times a day. No message no one there.
I received a call from this number asking how "grandmother" was. I have no idea who it is.
Received a call from this 213-286-9999. Caller stated via our voice mail system that he was from some unnamed organization with a legal (notice/process) I assume. And that he wanted us to call another number 1-877-240-4441 to verify our address, etc so he they would know where to send legal documents, they even left a bogus case #. This is a very crafty group of cyber-thieves which are using a telecom trap # which enables one capture #'s, and create free call minutes and/or use to scam unsuspecting people. I use a Google voice# to block these types of caller's as well as receive and have a text based record for the Police.
So I decided to visit goggle and enter the Toll Free # it came up as being in some way connected somewhere in China. These people aren't that smart, just crafty, but eventually they'll screw up and make a mistake..."Most crooks always do".
Received call at business line. Tried calling it back and got a rapid busy signal.
Got a call from this number this morning at 9:43 AM. Claimed to be my grandson, Christian. When I asked what he was doing in LA, he said that a school "friend" died. I knew this was not my grandson, as we have been astranged for many years. When I asked him his last name, he hung up. Very sophistocated scam for sure. Beware.
Got a call at 2:30 AM, woke me and my girlfriend up on a night when we were having a hard time falling asleep. I could strangle this guy. I didn't answer last night but called the same number back today and got dead air.
VA medical center
Rude Woman wanted veterans info
So rude I hung up on her
Unbelievable. My poor mom got taken for a ride from these people. Told her a cousin was in trouble and needed money to get out of jail. She wired money like they instructed and you can guess the rest. It disgusts me that people do this and get away with it. My mom is a reasonably intelligent person but as many out there know, they are good at double talk and making people do crap. I hope they rot in hell!!! Oh, and they had the nerve to call again later to thank her for the transfer and that they may need more money to get my "cousin" out of jail. I grabbed the phone and told them off. Money gone, lesson learned. My mom feels awful about it, but it felt good to tell them off. Good luck to everyone out there and hopefully they get caught someday
Showed up as "Weston Solutions" on caller ID... They called our business and asked for the office manager saying it was to update our information in the White Pages business directory, verified all of my information, then asked how many copies of the directory they should send to us, so I asked the caller "Don't they only issue one per business, and if this is the White Pages then this is at no charge to my business?" And the called replied that this was "a paid listing..." I told the called first of all then you need to identify yourself correctly when you call, you are not calling from the White Pages and he hung up on me! Beware, this is a scam! They collect your business information and the next thing you know invoices start showing up.
Some one from this number called and sounded like he was fishing. I hung up.
I didn't answer this call because I don't answer calls I don't recognize.. But it looked suspicious so I looked it up and saw these messages.. I'll report it too. Really, who has a last 4 digit number of 9999.
Got a call from this number, listed as being in LA. They didn't leave a message.
This guy called and said he was doing a survey about the TSA and wanted my opinion. I said I wasn't interested in his survey and hung up. Before I did, I heard others talking and a bunch of beeps and phones ringing. I didn't know what to think, but it was very suspicious, so I came here. Funny that this same number is associated with so many other kinds of calls!
I got a call from this same number.....however, it was a person from Kenya that I met last year. He told me he was using a calling card and that is why this number showed up.
This person call me saying he was with government and wanted to send me money that I was scam.
The other company that fix my computer swindlers me and he want refund my money.
Called my in-laws two days before Xmas claiming to be my step-son, in jail in LA, asking for money for his defense attorney. This was phone number that caller ID provided for the supposed attorney "Paul Davis." This is a common scam to extort $$ from unknowing senior citizens.
Yet another phoney number. These days there are VOIP services that ( illegally ) send phoney numbers. Reporting, blocking, and returning the calls are useless, as many have discovered.
Until the Feds really crack down on so called telephone companies that allow outbound calls to send ANY number, and put some teeth in the law, this will continue
weven then, if the service is not in the US, there is little that can be done.
Just as with e-mail spam, a redesign of the system is needed, but no one is willing to pay for it.
as long as these bottom feeders find one in one hundred to scam, the calls will continue.
I use a special computer to block calls, and have over 300 numbers I have captured. It still does little good, as they just send another number
frustrating, I know, but it IS the way of the world today
He stated that he was from Excessive Copy Machines and wanted to know the model numbers of our copiers.
dont want to get calls from this number anymore. i dont answer when i dont know who it is. I just want it to stop. its very very irritating.
Keep wasting your time calling me clowns. My ringer is off. How nice it was during the old days when it cost a lot of money to dial long distance. Now swindlers can attempt to scam the world with unlimited free calls.
Got called at 11pm and then they hung up. They also called earlier in the day with same result.
