Los Angeles FOP (Fraternal Order of Police?) They hung up after 4 rings, before the answering machine could pick it up.

They are NOT the Police! Neither Law Enforcement or Fire Departments will EVER solicit funds over the phone! This is a BOGUS charity ... 99% of the funds raised goes into their pockets and 1% will be sent to any police agency to make it a lawful "legitimate" charity. Just tell them that you know police do NOT solice by phone and hang up. Do NOT give them ANY money!

How do I stop the police from calling here? If they can do it anyone can and Not a darn thing will be done. We just keep getting all these calls.....man, its sickening!

Call is from the LAPD Lodge 1, something about law enforcement, trying to get donations.
