I HAVE GOTTEN MULTIPLE TEXTS FROM A 213 NUMBER ASKING FOR NAKED PHOTOS. THE NUMBER HAS SENT ME PHOTOS OF A NAKED/POSING GIRL. THEY ALWAYS SAY 'WE MET AT A CLUB' ...AND THE WEIRDEST PART IS THAT THEY KNOW MY NAME!!! NO IDEA WHO THE GIRL IN THE PHOTO IS (DON'T RECOGNIZE AT ALL) AND ALSO DON'T RECOGNIZE THE NAMES THEY USE! THEY USE ANGELA, AND AMBER SMITH. THEY ASK ME TO INSTALL AN APP ON MY PHONE AND THEY SEND THEIR PICS THROUGH THAT WAY, AND ALWAYS ASK FOR MINE. REALLY F****NG WEIRD, AND I TEST THEM AND ASK IF THEY WILL MEET IN PERSON OR SKYPE TO PROVE THEY ARE REAL...AND THEY NEVER DO! STRANGE...DON'T PLAY THEIR GAME, NO IDEA WHAT THE PURPOSE IS...

This guy chatted me last night on Match, then to Yahoo messenger.   I was suspicious when he didn't answer my questions.  He did email me photos when I asked for more than what was online.  His accent was mentioned.  We have not spoken. His Match profile vanished this morning.

I saw the miss calls on my phone and tried calling but couldnt. I google the number to get the area of the country ino order to call back but was so surprise to see all the comments on 800note of such numbers. Its so sad.

Sterotyping a nation of about 180 million is not appropriate. First, how do know is a Nigerian? He or she could be from anywhere in the world. There are many reponsible and sucessful Nigerian all over the world, whom I respect with a great heart. There are many scammers all over the world that uses other peoples indentity, and even can do their dirty business from anywhere in the world.

The fundametal issue is that we should careful with our personal information and how we post personal details online. Personally, I have receive calls from such numbers  and I ignore it imeediately I realise what they are presenting doesnt make any meaning to me.

You know what sir and to the others on this page? I've been suckered out of at least $200 by this guy as well ! He uses pictures of a most gorgeous woman on fb and had pretty much the same story as yours! He/She claimed that her boss at her CNA job was married with children and pressed her for sex until she either quit the gig or he fired her, I never got the straight of it as to He/She would lead to other conversation about that both parents were killed in auto accident and she needed to pay partial rent in order to stay longer until she finds somewhere else! I questioned her/him every way possible for weeks and she made it very real to me by getting us going on those same bogus numbers as  213-292-9130 being her friends boy friends # and 630-489-9150 the friend's # and has talked to me through her own # that's a Hawthorne CA # that I'll not post until I put Him/She to the Full test next time I here from this # ! But I'll say this.... He or she is very good because I'll talk to her all parts of day and night through texting because of these 2 1/2 months now e ause from the start she claimed her phone couldn't talk but text and I've only talked briefly to some woman 3-5 seconds at a time whispering and clearly of African dialect and it seemed she was being coached and as she gave wrong answers like (In my country) when I asked where are you? Then phone hangs up, then one or two more 2 -  5 seconds calls with totally unclear receptions, I began research and found the same locations as yourself; but they were Internet phone #s one being Google's service. She shunned this off saying it must be network! ???? She gets mad when I question her and always responds with that trade mark African response --- What is the meaning of this? " Her father suposedly was Canadian and mother African and she's Canadian lady with no accent ! I sent her money to hold off the landlord and later to suposedly get to friend's house in Idaho Falls Idaho and they still have these Illinois bogus Internet/Google phone #s that don't except incoming calls accept once,,,; a man answered and said wrong number, hung up and never answered again! So of the two times I've heard a female voice on on the phone each time she clearly couldn't hold a conversation and it seems not inside this country and I'm devistated right now and dissapointed in my self deeply!!! This guy identified himself as William Totti (a fictitious person) through Match.com.    Said he was divorced.    Also using fictitious photos Stated to be an artist who lived in the Jacksonville, FL area.    We spoke on Yahoo.Messenger for a few days, but something felt fishy.    Said he was of Italian father, and American mom. Having grown up in Italy and studied art there.    Was sketchy about talking on the phone due to his "accent."    When he finally did call, he used the following phone #s 213-292-9130 & 630-489-9130.    His accent sounded more from India or Pakistan than from Italy.    Wanted to know everything about me.

I have been talking to a Chris Morgan since early June. I have always had my guard up but of course he's sweet and loving. I once called him out and he backed off. Dummy me thought I was giving up the love of my life so I text him again and sent an email. right after that he did ask me to help him get a large amount of money to the US from Afganistan. He and his team suppose to have found a bunch of money and his cut was 450.000 but there were fees to have it sent to me so that I could hold it for him until his deployment. I told him the truth that I had no money to cover the fee. He then wanted me to open a capitol 1 card and pay the fee. I told him my credit was to bad to do this. he then acted like we were just going to forget that he had asked and all was going good. Last Thursday he actually called me for the first time because he always claimed that he couldn't call until he went to town in Afganistan. he did on Thursday and the numbers that he called from were these same numbers 213-292-9130 and 630-489-9130 he used a cell number of 404-997-8508 and his email is chrismorgan1255@yahoo.com. He's a smooth talker so beware...

George Peterson that I met was from Beverly Hills. Met him on match and he allegedly cancelled a day after we text all day because he found what he was looking for. Also from Ireland, single dad 43 with a daughter named Chelsea, age 8. He was supposed to be back in three weeks. I have all the pictures he used on match and an additional one of a friend he accidently sent me then quickly took a selfy to make up for it. We got into fights every time I asked for another photo. He allegedly loved me but wasn't a picture guy, sounded like a stupid excuse and we could take as many as I wanted when he returned. Two and a half months later still not back. He was flying in twice but cancelled both flights because he couldn't leave without all this money he made in Africa building a highway and needed to transfer the money into my account. I spoke with him several times and the guy is charming as hell. Too bad he is full of s***. Also called from the numbers Deanna posted. Sent me a check that bounced as well from a client.

This guy is portraying himself as several people, using a variety of methods of contact. He posted a beautiful picture of a 1995 Harley Davidson in the free column of our local listing of craigslist. I inquired about it via his email address that he gave in the listing. The email is: johnmark774@yahoo.com. The day went by and I never heard from him, I checked the listing and it was gone. So I figured that for whatever reason the person was getting rid of it, someone else beat me to it. The next morning I found an email response in my inbox stating that the bike had been a gift to his grandson that he had purchased for him only last year, and now his grandson had passed away leaving him and his wife sad memories every time they saw the bike. I responded back with condolences and proceeded to make preparations for delivery of the bike. He sent me the email address of the shipping company, (glamourmotorcyclelogistics@live.com) referred to them as "the movers." He said the movers were at his grandson's house right then, preparing the bike to be moved. The day went by and I was back & forth with obtaining information, now from "the movers." I soon learned that the bike was not in my home town, (in the Mid-west,) as "John" made it sound, but had already been transported to Porter, TX where he lives, and that the grandson was the one who had been living in my area. So now I was dealing back & forth with one of the movers, Arthur, and I insisted that I see a copy of the title, which Arthur, actually offered to email me anyway, before I mentioned it. It took him a little bit of time  to get it to me...said he was busy with customers, but got it sent to me a little while later. "John" had sent me more pictures of the bike, I guess to wet my appetite even more! I should've paid attention to the fact that the picture with the license plate was from AZ! And I must say, hind sight is a bit embarrassing, that I disregarded that red flag.  :-/  (But you know, people do move from one side of the country to the other.) Anyway, I'm giving all these details in hopes that it might help someone else from getting scammed. Next I'll be contacting authorities because, after dealing with him back & forth all day, snooping around on Google maps and finding that even though the address he gave me of his location, wasn't what his company name was that was in the email address (glamourmotorcyclelogistics@live.com). I looked up the businesses, called them. One was open still, (past 6pm by then) so I inquired of the business with them. They hadn't heard of them, so I asked him to give me names of some of the businesses around him. Well he named a couple, and one in which on Google wasn't even showing, but I found it right by there when I dug a bit deeper. Anyway, some of the red flags he was able to dispel, some he did not. But the reason I ended up trusting him was his persistence even after he knew I was snooping around to learn his legitimacy. He didn't scare off! He had "John" contact me again to try and ease my "skepticism" (as he called it); he had someone (no name) contact me from his company, letting me know that "no one is scamming you,we are 100 percent legitimate and won't tarnish our image because of anything."
So with his staying with me through all the "skepticism" and all the snooping around, I ended up sending him $250 via Western Union for covering the delivery fees. The next day I received an email stating:

WE'RE BRINGING INTO YOUR NOTICE THAT WE RECEIVED A NOTIFICATION FROM ARTHUR THAT THE BIKE IS STILL IN AUSTIN, TX FOR STOP ORDER WHICH WAS INSTRUCTED BY THE CUSTOM.
THEY  STOP THE SHIPMENT FOR NOW BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T PAY THE SHIPPING AGENT CHARGES.

I WAS TOLD THAT THEY CAN RELEASE THE BIKE ONLY IF YOU CAN COMPLY WITH THE SHIPPING AGENCIES TAXES AS THE BENEFICIARY FOR THE BIKE .
SO, BELOW ARE THE TAX YOU'RE TO PAY BEFORE THE SHIPMENT OF THE BIKE GET TO YOU.

SHIPPING AGENCIES TAX: 500.00USD

SO, ABOVE THE AMOUNT NEEDED TO BE PAID BY YOU AS THE BENEFICIARY OF THE BIKE. CURRENTLY, THE BIKE ARE STILL ON HOLD IN (AUSTIN, TX) AND THE STOP ORDER CODE IS: (LHR455NG).

AS SOON AS YOU TRANSFER THE AMOUNT TO THE SAME INFORMATION YOU SEND THE $250, THEN I'LL GO AHEAD AND PAY UP THE CHARGES, SO THEY CAN  RELEASE THE BIKE TO THE NEXT DESTINATION (MUNCIE, IN).

Now, I finally got "Arthur" to CALL me instead of just text. His text phone number never brought up anything. However, he has now called me twice. The first one was with this number in which this thread is found, (213 292 9130). Pretty disturbing, especially to find the latest post before mine was just less than a month ago. But even more disturbing when he called me again on a different phone, and that number is the same as the other one that Toni posted back in April!! (630 489 9130)!!!

I doubt anybody will be able to recover my loss, but if I can get the word out everywhere that I can and prevent anyone else from being taken...and taken by possibly more! I'll do it!

This is the same guy, he says...he lives in Manchester UK going to do a job Tuesday in Africa then after 6 days he is coming to meet his soul mate (me)in the USA and he is going to take care of me..Says he works for Shell ..sent me pics on facebook of a man on comedy factory off tv says that's him...another pics taken beside of "Monk"  the tv show..says that is his brother and his sister in law with him..Well I used to watch Monk all the time so I knew who he was...This guy has drove me nuts because I thought it was someone I know playing a trick on me...today when he contacted me on fb I talked him into calling me and the first cal came from a number in ca.213 2929130  well after a couple minutes talking to him his English was so bad I hung up on him..I went back to the message thing on fb told him I knew all about him now because I traced the number here and reported him to FBI well after a few minutes he called back from a number in Ill 630 489 9130 telling me his internet went down he couldn't talk to me he would contact me tomorrow...I don't think he will be contacting me..I think I blew it he probably fell out of love faster than he fell in love..I did tell him I don't know why he wanted any relationship with me I am about to lose my home and I am not sexual active...he kept telling me none of that mattered he was going to take care of me...what an idiot..ladies be careful ,,This guy used the name Harris Hossenini

Best advice given to me was to communicate with online date potentials via one of those phones where you buy minutes as go. Never give out your number.

I was hoping to find my good looking man George Peterson but all the other info falls into place....my scammer is 43 from Atlanta, where I am, is Irish and has a daughter Chelsea 8. He too is an engineer working on a road in Benin Africa and found out all his money was stolen from Bank of America and needs money to pay his hotel bill and buy food. He's supposed to return to Atlanta in 2 weeks. The number he called me on is the same 213-292-9130, 424-281-4925 both are VOIP internet numbers with no name. He also gave me an additional international number 234-808-025-3125. He was gorgeous and had me hooked but luckily I'm pragmatic and couldn't fall in love with someone over the internet. We met on match.com. I actually thought it suspicious that he managed to contact me the same day his subscription was ending. I too kept asking for photos of him and his daughter. None from him and one of a little girl sleeping...my guess she was 6 not 8. I couldn't get anymore. When I spoke to him last night I didn't hear any accent that resembled someone born in Ireland. I asked him what the colors of the Irish flag are. First he said orange, green and black then corrected himself. EVERYTIME I asked a location question it took at least a minute before he responded which made me think he was looking it up. He couldn't give me a street number to coincide with his street. I told him to let me verify who he is and I would consider sending him money, he wouldn't do it and got angry. Me, if I were in dire straights I'd give anyone all the info they needed within reason. I wish I could post the photo he used here. What a hoot. I just wasted 6 days of my time......

"Alice Klopp also" contacted me for tutoring her son (Ethan, who was going to Spain to play profesional soccer). They even sent the check amount of $4,950 and wanted to "wire" the excess. Thanks Good the guys in my bank explained me about the risk (I'm not from USA and kind of naive), and then I found all her story online. They don't have so much imagination after all.
