Whenever they call me, there is no area code, just a 7 digit #. Never leave a message and when you call them back off of caller ID, the number does not exist. Could they be a terrorist organization? I think the Feds should look into it, what do you think?

I got my new phone and number yesterday and just got a call from this number. Thanks for the info. I'll make sure not to say my name when I set up my voice mail.

This number called about two weeks ago, and some guy told me he would send me money to be his long-distance girlfriend.  He told me he knew my brother in law, but when i tried to put everything together it never added up.  I just looked up this number and many of the posts are similar to what happened to me.

Same this happened to me around 5:30 this morning!!! Creepy.

Just got a call a few hours ago (at 3 am) from this number. Didn't answer because I was sleeping. No message left.

I'm glad I didn't answer -- I just read the recent reviews about him knowing people's names and being creepy. I think part of the reason he calls so late is hoping people will be disoriented and confused when they answer the phone.

man talking in low voice, wouldn't tell me his name, acting distressed, "needed someone to talk to". Definitely don't know him.

its like couple of days that i am  receiving  calls like in  form this number ,i do have like 6,7 missed calls every single nights around 1am to 2 am , the first time i saw the number and i saw that there is no message left for me , i Google(ed) the number and i found this web site , well , have no idea ??????? haven't answered yet , and not gonna do that .
ill appreciate if you guys let me know if there is anything  i need to do

Just got the same sort of call...  creeped me out too, he also knew my name.  same sort of "don't you know who this is? I've talked to you a million times"

I received a horrible harassing phone call from this phone number. The man knew my name because I let it go to voicemail on the first ring. He claimed to be someone I knew that needed help. It truly scared the life out of me -- very creepy and inappropriate. I don't know what kind of person would want to do this to someone. Horrible.

And they do that by saying they are at a girls house and need to be picked up? He kept saying my name and told me to think really hard on who it is. That is not normal techniques for what you are proposing.

Are you a F@#k idiot? This not a relative from another country. This is a scammer trying to get people to think it is someone they know to help them. Just hang up. A real friend or relative would give his or her name if they needed real help.

I got a call from this number at 2am, his english was fine and he knew my name, said he really needed to talk to me. I kept asking him who he was, and he kept replying "just think about it". Super creepy and could not sleep for the rest of the night.

Got a call from this number claiming to be a friend who was close enough to me to have my phone number in his pocket, but refused to tell me his name, just alluded to being in trouble. His English was fine, and it sounded like it could have been someone I knew, so I kept asking for quite a few minutes, but he refused to ever say who it was, so I looked the number up and got here.

I'm sorry, but I get international calls from my friends all the time, and none of them whisper "Hey [my name], I need to speak to you but I have to be in private. I'm sorry to be bothering you, just really need your help" and won't tell me their name. I had to ask for his name 1,000 times before he said "Sorry [my name]. So sorry". Probably got my name and number from some directory and decided to freak me out a bit. It's called TROLLING.

Just called me and said "Hello (my name)", I hung up immediately because it was creepy that they knew my name and I don't know anyone from that area code.

my moms is in iran and has been calling me using this number. its a long distance calling service from there (calling card, phone company set up with credit card, etc.). shes been calling my cellphone and my brothers with the same number. we havent gotten random sales type calls from it. shes dialed several times and its always that number. if you have family/friends in iran at the time of the call answer; if not, reject dat bizzz

I received a call from this particular number as well. Upon research it is long distance phone company; NET--Greater Los Angeles area... (I haven't a clue who that is). I am in Tennessee... The person on the other end of the line, however was very bleak and did not offer any information, just asked for my account # and my phone number... None of this was provided. However, as many has stated, perhaps it is someone trying to call us from a different country and went through this NET as a means of getting in touch with us?!?

yea he sounds like a he is from the middle east and everytime i talk to him all he says is hello hello and i say everytime i think you got the wrong number spider im just wondering why someone from the 213 would be calling to Canada

Caller claimed to be from Bell Telephone offering to free me from cable TV - spoke rather poor English but worse ... radio or TV competing in background.
Pity I hadn't realized the area code of 213 was California or I would have challenged the caller to explain!

It was a guy who spoke very very poor english in a very strong mideaster accent who said he was calling for Bell Mobility and could offer a free phone and something else I couldnt understand(he repeated it 3x).

This number called me an there was no one there when I answered. I called the number back and it was a number for ADT. They said it was someone who was useing their caller id number but not from their company. Said there was nothing they could do for me to stop the calls! Frustrating!!!

Got  a call tonight. Girl claimed she was from the Conservative Party of Canada and was calling on behalf of my local MP and would I support him if there was an election.  She seemed  very rushed.  Very odd

Talked to him first time,has nothing right about me but my
address(phone book).Say's he's from a financial company.
I have call display and will not pick up again.
Leaves no message.
