This man called me.I think he said his name was clif gray. He has a accent so I could not understand him very good.  He said I need to call him before the cops come and get me.  I don't owe these people anything.  I need for someone to make him stop calling me.  He calls me at work and I will get fired for these type of calls.  Thank YOU.

payday scam from India , will call you saying they are a police officer going to arrest you within hours for not paying a payday loan.   Well I've been waiting two days LOL....don't fall for it.  If they call you pull the trick on THEM , next time they call I will threaten THEM and their family.

He said he is bob issac and in the heavy Indian accent he says the police are going to my address
Of record avd my job and arrest me etc.  He says I need to return his call
He wishes me luck etc.  All in badly spoken English
I want this to stop.    What do I do.   I do not owe the thousands he is looking for. And I

Received a call from "Kevin", said he is very sorry for me if I don't comply, and was trying to get me to give permission for him to proceed with lawsuit.  Stated I received a payday loan into my bank account electronically in 2009 (No other dates - he hesitated to even give me the year).  He asked if I could prove I did not owe this money - I asked him to prove that I DID owe the money since I know I do not.  The number shows up in Los Angeles, CA, and I asked for an address - he gave me 1743 Hoffman Lane, Los Angeles, CA 95003.  Don't know if it's correct, but I'm doing more research.  He stated I owed $300 - I noticed someone else had the same amount on the posts - Do Not Give them any money - this is Clearly a scam.

I received a call today from a weird number 052562369, and a guy from India, who identified himself as ROGER BROWN, was trying to make threats in broken and extremely bad English??.something related to Payday loans (which I never had in the past).  He repeatedly call me after I hung up every single call and asked me to call him back at (213)330-2340.

When I confronted him and ask him about the other names he used (Ian Brown, Daniel Morris, etc) he immediately hung up and never call me back again.

NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT???.AND DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY TO ANYBODY??.THIS IS JUST A SCAM!!!!

I received a call on my cell phone from a Mr. John Robinson  who spoke with a very heavy Indian accent.
I have the message he left on my cell phone.  He said he was from "The law firm"  and a suit was being filed against my name and social.  The message warned me that "THEY" (whoever THEY are)  would be coming to my home and work.  "DON'T FORCE ME TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST YOU" it said.
Also said it was going to happen by the end of this week.  Well today is Thursday, and i won't be at work tomorrow, or at home....so i say send the M_ _ _ _ _ _ -F _ _ _ _ _ 's!!!!!!
This guy called my work, and was very rude to the receptionist.  I am a HCP so i can only accept emergency family calls at work.  I am so pissed that i actually spent 15 minutes of my half hour lunch hour trying to get any information that i could as to my supposed debt.  He informed me that it was payday loan from a year ago.....that I had not paid.  When i asked him which company he represented, he could not tell me.  Also could not tell me any dates, as "they were sealed up for the court"  I told him that i was not aware of any such debt....and he said he would see me in court!  Funny last time I checked we Americans are still afforded the opportunity to question someone who claims to have a debt against you all of a sudden from a year ago.  Anybody who needs a payday loan is obviously just trying to stay at the water line.....May the rotten b*****ds who prey on the hardworking middle class BURN IN HELL!!!!!

I had the same problem, so I called my attorney, he said it's a scam.  The best thing you can do is file a complaint with your AG's office and submit one with the FBI. (which I did)  Provide a detail of the conversation with each, I had the same guy call me twice, using a different name each time, said that the police where going to pick me up and "DRAG" me to court.  That's against the law to even make that statement (if they were a collection agency) so if any of you do speak to them just tell them that you have filed a complaint with the AG and the FBI and to stop calling you. I did call the number back 213-330-2340, a woman answered I said "What company is this?" and she hung up, I called back 4 times and they didn't answer.  Do not be bullied into paying them money,

I just got a phone call from this number with a guy that barely spoke English and had the nerve to tell me to F off.

i got the call too,   left a message that i was going to be arrested,    when i called back and asked the date of the pay day loan  they hung up on me and now each time i try to call the phone number is busy or unavailable....reported to the new york state police

they called me too had last 4 digts of ss# also had names of people i use for ref said i was going to jail for furd said they would be here to arest me also knew where i worked never did ask for money just said i was going to jail i called back with my bank on other line said they would call me back later never did said they would also go after my ref was furd too  it was for a payday loan that i have never taking out will be filling with cops just waiting for them to call me i called back today lady said why are u calling back u said u talked to ur bank and have proof u didnt get any money i asked just want to know whats going on she hung up on me now when i call its just busy

i been getting the same phone call but this is not the first time the first i did send them 300.00 because i was scared....they got me once but the will not get me again

I RECIEVED A CALL FROM THIS SAME NUMBER TODAY FOR THE FIRST TIME. THE MAN SAID IIS NAME WAS DANIEL MORRIS WITH A CALL BACK NUMBER OF 213-330-2340 AND SAID THEY WERE GOING TO CONTACT THE COURTS AND HAVE ME ARRESTED. WHAT EVER I HAVE NEVER TOOK OUT ANY LOANS OR PAYDAY LOANS THEY GOT MY INFORMAITON FROM SOMEWHERE..HE COULD NOT EVER SPEEK VERY GOOD ENGLISH AT ALL. THE NUMBER THAT SHOWED UP ON MY CELL PHONE WAS 646-448-0339

I just got the call today. They started on my cell phone and I blocked the call and called them back from a land line. Police, court tomorrow and the whole bit. I "listened" to my charges and told him I had no loan of that nature. He stated that they have it on record. I said I do too. He said the police were going to come to my house and my work. LOL I am freinds with half the police in my state. I just told him that I would be happy to show proof of not having the loan, knowing that was not what he wanted. After toying with him for a few minutes more I told him where he could put is scam and he hung up on me. I will be reporting this today as well.

I just got a call today from the same numbers. Telling me I took a loan out a couple of years ago. Said his name was Kevin. I could hear 30 people in the background screaming at someone else with the same scam. Tried to get my phone number. Note: He did have the last four of my SS number. Needless to say I will be running a credit check today. I wonder how many people they actually scare into giving them money.

ive tried calling this number to curse them back out and noone answers the phone. These people had me so mad with this mess they even called my job with this and all the calls there are recorded . Does anybody know anything about who the hell these people are

i recieved a call from stacey and i told them i was going to file a police report if they called me back and then some forign guy got on the phone and started cussing me out big time! so be careful. it is most def a scam!!!!!

Same story as all of you.. they have switched numbers... they were telling me to call 760-239-9098, now they call from 6464480339 and are telling me to call 2133302340.  Look up these numbers for even miore background.  I have filed complaints with the AG, FBI and Sheriff.
This foreigner said his name was Ian Brown.

I just a phone call from them twice today saying that they were going to have 45 police come to my house and job to pick me up and go to court for an unpaid pay day loan which i never got. They had me really pissed off. I argued with these people for about 30 minutes and got nowhere. They would not tell me any information about the loan company and stated that i was going to jail. Then they had the nerve to ask me if i wanted to make a payment over the phone for the loan amount the so called got and when i said no he hung up on me.

Just got off the phone with them also. They called twice today talking about some payday loan that I took out with Cash America last year.  They won't give me any time frame or any other information about it.  But I know that I didn't have a payday loan at all at any time with anyone.  Glad I didn't give them any information that they were wanting.  Both messages left on voicemail were full of static, and the person I spoke to did have an Indian accent.  After reading all the posts online about them, definitely has the earmarks of a SCAM!!!!
