I got a call about 15 minutes ago, said they were with Lance Law Offices. The woman's voice sounded like east Indian accent and the back ground were a bunch of noisy callers. Instead of confirming who I was I asked who this was and when she said who she was with I then told her that I don't recognize this number and she was like, "oh, ok bye." She sounded like I just took her puppy away from her and I was the bully in her neighborhood. lol. We both hung up.

Got a call from this number 09/06/2007 @ 7:00 PM.  Left no message.

HELLO WORLD has been calling my land line at least once an hour for about 2 months now.  They tell me it is reguarding an intrest I had shown in becoming an Ebay seller (which I had considered doing a few weeks prior to the calls).  The problem is that both my husband and I have told them we are no longer interested but they continue to call from sunrise until late into the night.  I have resorted to answering thier calls and Demanding they remove me from thier list or I will report them to the do not call registry, and sue them for harassment.  However I cannot sue them because I do not know how to contact them!!!  What do they want from me?  What is the benefit to them to continue to harass me and my family?  

What I do know, is that when I called back the number I got an answering machine givng me a number for customer service which was of course closed.  The number was 1-866-396-5695

They have been calling my house phone pretty much all morning.  My wife called and was pissed because a different person calls everytime.  They are calling in reference to free grant money.  I filled out the form on the internet.  It is definitely bogus. I called back and there is complete silence.

UPDATE: I have contacted verizon about this problem number, and all they do is refer me to  " *57 " to report a threat to police, and that costs $3.00 per complaint. Verizon is a rediculous as this sick company, and We shouldn't have to pay for this investigation, and yYES, VERIZON SHOULD PROVIDE FREE SERVICES TO BLOCK THIS CALLER, BUT NO, THAT WOULD ONLY BE TOO RESPONSIBLE AN ACTION FOR THEM !
EVERYTME I CALL THEIR 877-545-2147 NUMBER, I GET TOLD I AM CALLER NUMBER #3 FOREVER !  I hope they suffer !

This is maddening, I am starting a business, and I get calls from this number up to 20 times per day, and its not only driving Us crazy, It is Causing Me to LOSE VALUABLE BUSINESS AND TIME FROM MY WORK.

Everytime I answer, No one is there, and then I get an annoying Buzz and it disconnects.

If this continues, I will need to change My phone number, and then I will contact an attorney, and Sue them into oblivion !

If anyone CONNECTED WITH THIS phone number is reading this, You are a lowlife, sick, demented loser with no worth to society, and I hope and pray that You suffer dire consequences for Your sick actions !

UPDATE!!!  I got another call from this number and finally someone was on the other end.  Apparently it is regarding Government Grants, so I played the game and listened and got the information about who they are.  And... I managed to get their call back number of 877-545-2147.  Then I told him to take me off his list and he instantly became an a** (go figure).

They continually call my disabled mother-in-law from 8a.m to 11a.m, this is absolutely unacceptable.  We pay for the phone service so that we can be harassed?  Due to her disability this is the time she is resting and shouldn't have to be disturbed by phone calls like these.  When are our carriers going to take responsibility for making their paying customers number one and install some sort of blocking mechanism so we can block particular numbers that call like this.  It's not right.  We as the customers need to bombard our carriers with calls of complaints and then they will get it taken care of (of course probably at our expense of course) but hey... if it stops the calls I'm happy to pay.

This number 213 363 5105 started calling me yesterday. Since I do not recognize I do not answer. They called 10 times yesterday never leaving a voice message.  They started calling this morning at 8am and have been doing so every 10-30 minutes since! They have called 11 times already and it's only 10:30am! I tried calling the number but all I get is a rapid busy signal.  I tried to pull up some information from Las Angeles, CA Better Business Bureau (as the phone number originates from LA) but have come up with nothing so far.  - Gah they are calling me again right now!!!  I can't take this nonsense.  What can I do to make it stop!?
I called my cellular phone company who informed me that they can only change my number to prevent this harassment from re-ocurring.  Changing my number is not an option but this must be stopped somehow.  How can they get away with this?

I've gotten 12 calls in the last 14 hours.  Lucky me they stopped at 8:55pm but started up again at 8:15am.  I agree with the person above about the Free Government Grants. I started to fill out the page for info and then decided against it and deleted all my info and never submitted the page, but I guess it was to late.  The number is located in CA and with connections in that state and knowing some of their phone laws I'll look into it today to see if anything can be done,

They started calling me at about 9:00am. Every 20 minutes. It stopped at midnight.

These people are driving me crazy. They call about every 20 minutes. If I am not mistaken, they are calling from a California area code. Someone please get rid of these people.

I answered this number and ended up pretty much yellling at this lady. They call my cell phone every 10 minutes until like midnight and it's effing pissing me off. They need to stop!!!!!!!

Calls are coming in every 30 min now for 2 days. I do not answer. The caller ID says "Hello World". I reported them to the National Do Not Call Registry.

They keep calling.  I have received 5 calls in the past 2 hours and no one is there.

Two calls back to back. No one answered when I said hello.

constantly calling...3 to 4 times a day...
i never answer.

  LAST NIGHT THIS CALL CAME TO MY LAND LINE, I DID NOT ANSWER IT. JUST A FEW MOMENTS AGO IT CAME THRU AGAIN AND I ANSWERED IT, JUST A HANG UP.  I THINK THAT HELLO WORLD IS A PRE-PAY CELL PHONE SERVICE, AND I KNOW FOR SURE THAT THESE CALLS WERE MADE FROM A CELL PHONE. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO LINK THE PHONE NUMBER TO A PERSON OR PLACE YET, THERE SEEMS TO BE INFORMATION AVAILABLE BUT NOT FOR FREE. TRY ZABA SEARCH.

I have been called five times by this number this morning and I answered twice but have not answered any more.  Does anyone know how long these calls continue?  I have not been able to find any info on the owner of this number.  Is there a way to stop these call?

This number has called my cell phone 12 times in the last 45 minutes.  Does not leave any messages.  I have not answered this number because I do not know who it is.

Calls come in every few minutes and no one answers then hangs up. This one started about 7:30 central time. So far they have called 6 times.

It's a call for information that you (I) supposedly requested for Free Government Grants.

This number has been calling my cell about 15 - 20 times a day for the past couple of days.  They never leave a message. A couple of times I have answered, but not said anything and they just hang up.  One time I said "yes" after answering and I got a foreign woman saying "hello, hello, hello".  I was too scared to talk and just hung up.

Ironically, last night I responded to a responder to an ad I placed on craigslist using the anonymous feature.  I often get responses from people in the UK supposedly moving to America.  I normally don't reply but this time I did.  I was cautioned against responding but i did.

This number kept calling asking for Mr Grant.  I to;d them He was not home. they called back two minutes after that.  Once agin i told her he was not in.  The third time they call I ask for them to leave a message and I will tell him.  She said she was calling in reference to some free grant money.  When I called the number, a recording answerted stating the reps werer busy and i was caller number 8, then caller number 7.  I hung up and called back.  Again I was caller number 8, then caller 7, then caller six.  I hung up called back five minutes later and you guessed it, I was caller number 8 once again
