I also got a call from 213.363.5140

There was no name on the caller ID, they didn't leave a message, and I didn't answer.

i received a call from this number and they left a message stating they are a police officer looking for me because they have a case in there office involving me. I tried to call back this number 707-676-3389 which they left but it isnt a good number it is its not in service. its almost like someone is playing games.

I also received a call from "YOUR FRIEND" with the phone number 213-363-5140 and it turned out to be my boyfriend.  And his number is NOT 213-363-5140, but whenever he calls my work phone (landline) it always comes up on the caller ID as this.  When I call him, or when he calls my cell phone, it's his normal number.  I don't know why this happens??

A woman called from this number asking to speak with my boss. She asked if he was the person in charge of our phone service and I told her that he wasn't and gave her the name of the person she needed to speak to. She raised her voice and said don't get an attitude with me, I didn't even ask to speak to you and then hung up on me.  Thanks to the other postings, I have now called the number back and put us on the do not call list.

I just didn't answer. I am pretty sure that it's a LA #. When I was a kid growing up in the city, I think we had a 213 #.

After reading these post, I called back to get on the DO NOT CALL list.  THe recording says "if you are not interested in receiving any more calls about their promotions please press 1"

Called but no one was there when I answered.  I called back and received the recording about being placed on the DO NOT CALL list by pressing "!".  They did not have to ask me twice!  ;-)

Call the number back and the service has a recording that provides you the option to hit #1 to be placed on the do not call list.

Have been receiving calls from this number lately as well.

CALLED ME 6 TIMES IN LESS THAT 4 MINUTES. NO NAME APPEARS, NO TALK, SIMPLY HANGS UP AFTER YOU PICK UP THE PHONE.AND THEN CALLS BACK.

who is calling me from 213-363-5140?  It shows either "service message" or "your friend" in the caller id.

This is associated with an online pharmacy.  They change their name, sell the number, then flood the lines for the one schmuck who will order from them again.  Right now they're operating under GNC Pharmacy.  Telling them to remove your name doesn't work.  Have file complaint with FCC... form is here... http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm .  I filed my complaint this morning.

Called me at home at 8:21AM on a Saturday morning.  YOUR FRIEND was in caller ID, so I turned phone on and off immediately.  Received a 2nd call about 5 minutes later, this time answered and just received dead air with a few clicks and then a dial tone.  Attempted to call number back and was disconnected.

yeah i got a phone call from this number and they were threatning me about money or they were going to kill my family no joke it was in spanish though weird thing is im from all the way from texas

Called at 10:29 AM, left no message on my machine.

Get a load of the caller ID that showed up: "YOUR FRIEND"!  How they can manipulate things is unbelievable.  I'm sure it is some kind of scam.

very strange... I got this call yesterday and the caller ID said "YOUR FRIEND" and a prefix of +011 was listed before the area code.
