got a call from this number 3 mins ago in my cel, I didnt answer and they didnt leave a message.

I got the same call - told me i had won a prize only available to rogers customers - said to press 1 to continue but i didn't bother.

This number keeps calling and leaving an automated VM in Spanish...

Just got this call on my home phone.  Name showed up as TFZ LLC.  Did not answer.  Will report it to the Do Not call list - file a complaint.

I have no call display, but the "this prize is only available to rogers customers, please press 1" call just came though. Did not press of course, just hung up

What a scam! I'm a Rogers customer. Got a call from this number earlier this week. An automated message said 'This offer is for Rogers customers only. Please hold and you will be transfered." I waited to see where this would go. It turned out to be someone from a company called m4sunset who own/operate Ocean Spa Hotel.  They said I won a prize to Cancun Meixco. They would give me all the details about my prize and at the end of the call I had to confirm if I accepted it or not. My 'Prize' : 6 days 5 nights in Cancun, Mexico and 5 days 4 nights in Florida for the 'too good to be true' cost of $598 USD. They also threw in some disney passes and ground transportation something. This so called vacation prize was valid for 2 years. All I had to do was confirm at the end of the call that I agreed to what was purchased and give them my credit card number. I said "Thanks but no thanks. I can't afford a $600 charge to my credit card right now."
The next day I got another call from them (caller id: Unknown number). They said I was a valued client and since I was not comfortable about the cost they were willing to give me a special rate of $349USD for both Cancun and Florida plus they'd through in another destination as Bonus. They called again today from a different number 1-213-363-5152 to ask if I was still interested in their offer.

Received a call from this number last night at 6:30 EST.  Pre-recorded - similar to the Rogers message, but 'Fido' (as I am a Fido subscriber).  Hung up after I received the information about them I was looking for, about two seconds in.

I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer it. I'm also a Rogers customer. I'm glad there are sites like this so we can all help each other avoid evil people trying to scam money from us.

Just got a call from these guys on Fido. I didn't pick up and they left no message. Before googling it I tried calling back but I got a "Network Busy" notification on my phone...

Just got the same call on my rogers cell. Honestly these people are scum, there is a recession going on and they can't wait to come up with the next way of ripping off people!!

I received call as well about 20 minutes ago. Didn't answer.

I got a call from this number (213) 363-5152 at 11:47 a.m. on April 30. I didn't answer and no message was left.

i got a call from this number and called back.. it didnt ring though - is there still a possibility that i'll get charged if it was a scam?

I got the Roger's prize message 2 minutes ago. Didn't dial 1. It sounded veeeerrryyyyyy bogus.

got a call from this nbr. called back and checked reverse method ID with no results.  called several times and busy signal or message 'call did not go through'... 100% scam.

Got a call from this number on my Rogers cell phone but in a meeting so did not answer...much to my surprise that it got THIS google hit.

I really wish Rogers would stop selling my # to telemarketers/scammers...bad enough that I eat Rogers monthly big bills but I have to receive bs calls on my cell to boot?

Just got this call on my rogers cell -  they said congratulations this prize is only available to rogers customers, press 1 to claim your prize...I didn't press 1, then it diconnected itself

I got the "this is for rogers customers only" press one to claim your prize, problem is, i am not with rogers, jokes on them, also DO NOT PRESS 1, this allows the called to charge back a call to your number, and yes they are just going to call a bogus 900 number with a $1500 or more "calling fee", funnily enough the 213 caller will be the owner of the POS 900 number

Why can't these numbers be reported as Scams and the telephone company block them, or disconnect them and refuse to all them another number?

I just received this same "Rogers" message but I hung up without pressing 1.

I'll let someone else do that! :-)

Got a call from this number today at about 6 pm. I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognise. Although I did recognise the area code as LA, but since I don't know anyone there I didn't pick up. And also, I'm not with Telus.

I just got a call from that number too at 6:08pm today...crazy...

I didn't press 1 and the line hung up after a couple of seconds.

I didn't visit Florida recently, so I doubt it's connected to that.
But I was eating an Oh Henry chocolate bar, maybe that's the connection.

Got this call around 2:13pm this afternoon....as a rule if I don't recognize the number I don't take a call.....if it is genuine person he/she should leave a message....:)
