Got a text from this number in response to a PS3 i had for sale on CraigsList. They claimed that they would pay an additional $120 if I could ship it to their son in a different state.

They tried to have me send out my phone and transfer me the money from interac!
This is a SCAM. Never send anything to anybody for promise of payment. If you are selling anything through any classifieds always meet the person in a CROWDED place and do the exchange in person! You never know what kind of low life wants to take what you have for free!

Same happened to me:
The caller responded via SMS to an ad at Kijii.
Said he's in the hospital and needs a graduation gift for someone.
Wants to pay 200 $ or more for the shipping..... that was suspecious right away.

Tried to get me to ship cell phone I had for sale stating he was in hospital sending to son as a graduation present, never once asked me condition just that he would pay for all charges involved. All this via text message.
