they called me shut my laptop off why is anyone not doing anything about it

I just got a call from "John" from this same number. He was very aggressive in trying to get me to take his
"advice" on the phone. I hung up, and he called back. Hope these folks aren't scamming too many people!

I got the same call. They stop all services on my computer then i open start up manager and start all services and my computer works fine.

425-668-9652 I got this number off of my caller ID, Foreign person claiming there is a problem with my computer, they are Microsoft tech.  Scam.

The caller (with a foreign accent) said he was from Microsoft and it learned my computer was downloading dangerous material).

Caller wanted me to connect to their website. The number that caller ID showed was based in Auburn WA, but the callback number is 213.438.9923. Tried to claim that my computer was infected, blah, blah.

I got a call from a man with a foreign accent    who said his name was Peter and he was a Microsoft technician and my computer needed to be repaired.  I said I was busy and asked for his phone number which he said was 213-438-9923.  These people call me once a month and you cannot get them off the phone.  I finally hung up on a woman one of the times and she called me back to ask why I hung up on her.  I don't know how to stop this harrassment.  Can you please help me.?

my call is from some organization representing to be Microsoft Technical support Windows.  They ask you to make changes to your register.  I played along for about twenty minutes and you are just building to a sales pithch

Also received a phone call with a foreign accent giving me a callback number.  I called back and they answered Microsoft support department also wanting to repair a problem.  They stated that no one except a Microsoft Certified Technician can fix the malicious software that had infected my computer.  I told them that I would get my own certified technician from Microsoft to fix it and thanked them.  They called again and couldn't understand why I wouldn't want my computer fixed.  Such a scam.

Caller ("Peter") with foreign accent gave this as callback number, claiming to be Microsoft service department wishing to repair a "problem with my computer" due to malicious software that had infected my computer. Clearly a scam.
