I too received this text.  Thanks for reporting that this is a text.

I got the same text message from a similar number. It was 213-447-2794. It said "Your entry last month has won!! Goto http://bestbuy-me.com and enter your winning code: 7777 to claim your free $1000 best buy gift card."

I was curious if this was a scam because I always do the survey after purchasing things from best buy that put you in the $1000 shopping spree drawings... But I still had a feeling it was a scam.

I put in the code it told me to and it lead me to a congratulations page. But then I decided to go back into the main page and I entered all sorts of random codes into it, and each one took me back to the congratulations page.

So yes it is definitely a scam and people should not believe this if they get it.

I received a text message from this number stating that I had won a $1000 Best Buy gift card and to input 7777 on a bestbuy-me.com website. As far as I can tell it is a scam. Be weary!
