I received a similar call at 7am CST!  Said someone had hacked my computers and he wanted REMOTE ACCESS to fix the problem.  I told him that my computer is protected and that what he wanted was  NOT going to happen.  I told him to have a nice day and hung up before he could say more...

One or two calls for about s week now, not going to ever answer!

We have been receiving a number of these calls.  The latest this morning was from Ilink Communications -- the phone number (without area code) was 402-0228.

Should we be reporting this to the Attorney General's office?

called me on 6-4-13 demanding information on my daughter. Said they had papers to serve on her and needed her information. If they tried twice here, she would have a judgement against her and they wouldn't wait for her to show up in court.  I basically told the lady to find her .. herself.. knowing this was a scam.. then quieried the phone number.. the company name was ILink Communications. They called again and I didn't answer. But when I tried to call the humber back, it was disconnected. How do they do that ?

I received a call from 213-457-0323 and it wasn't sprint but was a 30 something spanish women asking for me. I asked who it was and she said [and I quote].."I'm calling because I saw your profile and I'd love to bounce my round a brown rump up and down your shaft' I quickly hung up but not before I rubbed a load out talking nasty to this hoe.

Been getting calls fro #888-870+0409 thet I have a Claim # 177386 on me and that if I did not pay I woudld be served. This is the second time they have done this to me.

A lady called and left a message stating that I was going to have fraud charges brought against me if I did not get back to them within 48 hours. Stated that the paperwork would come to my job (which they stated my company) and that it would be filed with my county's courthouse (which was correct). I've had this type of scam before but I was educated on this prior so once I heard the message I knew it was bogus and googled the number. Of course it is a scam.

i got a call from this number saying they were sueing me for a pay day lone and going to serve me with papers and i better get a lawer.

i just got this too. today is october 18,2012. they called 3 times so far today. i called them back and operator said the number is no longer working. i then went on computer and found a bbb report that said ilink comm. is no longer in business. i don't know how  they could call if that is the case. the bbb said they have had no reports about ilink. sounds to me like they're a scam machine.

HAHA...I got a call just now from them and started to listen to their BS, got my whistle and blew out his ear drum!!  Call me back again a**hole!

Looks like this number was been passed around for a lot of scams in the last year.

Just got a call from this number--caller ID said "ILink Communications".  A man with a very, very think accent asked me questions about my electric bill and whether it was more than $100 a month.  I knew what was going on and decided to play along--they caught me in a bad mood today.  I said yes.  They then asked who my electric was through and again if my electric bill was more than $100--I said yes again.  They wanted to schedule an appointment for "free installation" of a solar system on the house.  I told them no thanks, that we are just renters (not true) and that we weren't going to install anything on a home we didn't own.  He said it didn't matter--that there were no "upfront costs".  I said, "Okay, but what will I be paying down the road after installation?"  He again said, "I just told you that there are no upfront costs"--very condescending.  I said, "Yes, I heard you.  I get that you'll install for free, but what will I be paying after it's installe?.  Surely the whole thing won't be free forever?  My experience has been that if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is."  Click... he hung up.  Hahaha... totally made my day.

Just got a call from an Indian man, with lots of noise in the background, telling me that he is from Microsoft and that my computer is infected.  He also insisted that I get on my computer right now so he can help me fix it and it was VERY important that I do that right NOW.  I told him that I work from home and don' t have time to do this right now, he kept on insisting but I refused.  He then grilled me on when he could call me again.  I then told him to email me the instructions and I would fix it myself.  He claimed that was impossible since my computer is infected - well smarty pants I have access to more than one email and more than one computer.  He just kept insisting that he would call me back and I yelled back at him BUT I DON'T WANT YOU TO CALL ME BACK and proceeded to hang up the phone.  I am also on a do not call list, but that doesn't seem to work anymore - too many unwanted calls.  Bill Gates are you listening?  People are calling strangers claiming they work for Microsoft.

Have received several calls from 213-457-0323.  The man asked for me by name and identified himself as world support to all Windows users.  He asked me to check my computer for red or yellow error messages and then referred me to a web site www.ammyy.com.  I began to question him further and asked where he was calling from, he said Oakland, CA.  Then he put someone else on the line who said he was not a scam caller and would send verification in an email.  I repeated my questions AND HE HUNG UP ON ME.  ammyy.com looks like a software company trying to sell a product!   Beware!

I called Yahoo customer service, and was promptly called back by this number (213-457-0323) stating that I had a trojan virus and it would cost $700 to fix my computers at a Mac store. I said I didn't have that kind of money, so he told me he could fix the problem over the phone for $350 over the phone. Am I the only one who thinks this is odd?

Guys - this is a Skype "virtual" number... As a result, could be anyone. Skype recycles these so it is not determinable if the calls from this number are bogus or from a friend using Skype.

Good thing that I am a night owl!  Whoever the schmucks are who are behind this, then just called my home number... AT 3:09 AM!!  I was up so I answered, wondering (quite rightly) just who the bleep would be calling me at this time of the morning.  (Everybody I know is sound asleep... except for me, of course.)  I said "Hello" and then waited patiently, and there was just silence.  After a long silence of about 15-20 second, the other end just hung up.  Maybe in that time period they did some research and found out that I eat scamming telemarketer scum for breakfast.

I received a call from this number and ID showed Ilink Communications.  It was my husband calling through his google voice number.

I received two calls from ilink comms today and two other calls from an unknown number twice inbetween the time I got the calls from ilink. This is very annoying.

After reading these messages, I am convinced that these scammers are using some kind of US phone portals although the calls are originating in India or the middle east.  I am sure that these are the same people calling us from

VISION TELECOM, 702-614-5500 OR +1000123456.

The calls from ILINK COMMUNICATIONS came immediately after I disconnected Vision Telecom.

They call and harass our employees, ask for IT staff.  I will be disconnecting both Vision Telecom and ILINK COMMUNICATIONS from now on.

I think this caller is affiliated with another scam agency, Vision Telecom, 702-614-5500 or +1000123456.  They are showing up as ILINK COMMUNICATIONS immediately after I disconnect from Vision Telecom and they are asking for our IT executives.

Again, this person or whatever calls, once a day at least.  No message, of course.  Am getting sick of it.

I had exactly what JR said but also told me that my computer would crash if I didnt fix the problem asap.

who is this co calling about my windows internet. didn't give any answers and started swearing and calling me vulgar names. what can be done about this.

I  got the same phone call as all of these people here and I dont know who it is!!  This person called me 3 times today and I dont know them, and when I answered they picked up and hung up like that.  Are they deaf??  Who is this 213-457-0323 guy??? or girl???  creeping me out:(

keep getting call from this number and some other number unlimited times. annoying and wastage of time. Dont know like these people have nothing to do other than annoy.

I got a call from someone claiming to have a better deal on a hotel I booked through Convention Housing Services. But they wanted to rebook the whole thing and claimed it would automatically cancel the other.

I got a couple of calls from (213)457-0323 ...I did not answer, for I am too wise. He knew not who he was up against!  I am Jesse, have a good afternoon.
