Getting people to agree to be called by a diabetic supply company.

they call constantly, no one is on the line when you pick up, silence and a click.  no voice messages left

when I pick up the phone, no one is there and then click.  When I called the number back, nice music with intermitten "your call is important to us, please stay on the line and someone will be with you shortly".  After a while, "Good-bye" and that's the end of the call.

I too got  a call from that number stating that someone at my number just had been struggling with diabetes!

3/15/11 - 8:28 AM.  I received at call from 213-488-8236.  The caller ID stated it as Global Reach.  I followed up on the number and found the following information and explanation.  Read to the end.

i got a call from this number it was also Global reach and asking about diabetes stuff...i just simply told her i was on the do not call registry and to take my name and number off their list and hung up....i have been getting so many darn scam calls lately its about to drive me nuts so i registered with DNC again today

I have been getting calls from this number daily, 2-3 times daily..Ive tried calling back and  all I get is this really creepy music, the last time I tried calling back it said this number has been disconnected...I have blocked this caller on my phone, so it doesnt ring, but still shows up as a missed call

two calls yesterday from this number and then one today sounds like an older female...

Go to https://www.donotcall.gov and register you phone number, then register a complaint at the same website.  They will not stop until they are investigated by the authorities and the only way to get them investigated is to register complaints.  Poster "Lynn" is right they are connected to (302) 752-1422, the exact same thing happened to me.  I started getting calls from the (302) 752-1422, then I started getting them from this number.  They are the same scammers.  Trying to get credit card numbers for fake diabetic supplies. These people should be ashamed of themselves..they prey of the elderly..

This number is tied to (302) 752-1422, It is a Nigerian Scam the number actually originates over seas and re-routes to the US... I received several calls from the (302) 752-1422 starting at 7:00 am in the morning right up until 10:00 pm at night.  Some one told me about a Panasonic Cordless phone that has "CALL BLOCKING" capabilities..I bought one at Best Buy and blocked the (302) number over two weeks ago...stopped getting calls from them over a week ago...Now I am getting calls from the "Global Research"  (213) 488-8236 number...called four times when I was out..left no message..they just called this morning  Someone of Arabic accent mumbled something about someone being diabetic in the household when I told them to remove my name and "Cease and Desist" they hung up on me.  I have added this number to my phones blocking list...and they have called two more times since...Go get a Panasonic phone with "Call Blocking" capabilities they are a life saver, because here in Kansas, ATT will not block out of state calls..through my phone company call blocking services...

It is best not to answer these calls. After reading multiple posts, it looks like they call more if someone answers. That is why we all have caller ID right?

Not a legal firm it is a scam company who sells fake diabetic supplies, loans, etc. asks for cc# etc. It is not a legal firm

Lots of these diabetic scams going on lately. Just answer your phone and tell them you are from "your state" diabetic association. That really shuts them up

It's 9:40 pm here and I just got a call from this number and it's identified as GlobalReach Int.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message so they get blocked.

7 times this evening.  No one says anything.  If I call back, no rings, just strange music.  Identified as from Los Angeles

i got it as well lastnight and today. so i just blocked there number and reported it to donotcall.gov  if many will file a complaint at  donotcall.gov  they stop calling.

They called @ a dozen times before I picked up. Man asked for my Husband & said he was "registered" as being diabetic. I asked to removed from their phone list. I suspect it's a phone scam of some sort. Caller ID identifies the number as "Global Reach Int."

They have called my house 5 times today. All within an hour of each other.
I have had it! Where in the world do these nut jobs get our phone numbers anyway?

Received 4 calls today-------same response, question re diabetes, woman with alien accent and voice-----on the 4th call, I yelled loudly into her ear----hope this stops her.  Again, mentioned Globalreach---are they?

I've gotten two calls from them in the last two days - at about 8:45 AM. Didn't pick  up.

Are you sure about this?  When I looked up this attorney name, it stated that they are in Chicago Ill., and are Criminal Defense, Real Estate & Short sale attorneys.  Further the area code from this phone number is showing as Los Angeles CA.,  not Chicago.....They are calling me repeatedly and I DON'T NOT HAVE ANY DEBT THAT ANY COLLECTION AGENCY WOULD BE CALLING ME ABOUT.  They called again this morning at 8:15 a.m. I am reporting to authorities.
