I called the number back, the automated system said press 1 to be taken off the list.  They state they are a auto warranty plan.

This is a credit card phishing scam.  The Do Not Call list certainly won't work because the caller ID is a fake number and the FCC investigating them is the least of their concerns.

There are ask for your credit card number; then verify it is valid to make sure they got it right.  After, they will turn you over to someone who will string you along to make sure you don't get suspicious.  Then they will abuse it - plain and simple.

I keep them on the line with fake numbers.  Then I say derogatory or lewd things.  Nothing they can do because they are crooks trying to steal your info.

Well so much for all the new legislation.  I just received a call from this number.   The caller ID showed Service Message.  I answered the phone and there was no one on the other end.  Not having the time or energy to play with this offender I just hung up and looked here.

i got an operator and sak to speak to his supervisor but he hung up
