Called four times Saturday 12-5-09 never responds to hello. Dial tone when answer machine comes on.

Says it's a marketing or political survey when I called the number back

This number called several times today. Never responds when I answer. Must be some low life with nothing else to do for the day.

Called my phone four times in an hour, 12/20. The third time I answered there was a guy at the other end, could barely understand what he was saying so hung up, about 10 minutes later he called back so I told him off and not to call this number again, will see if he tries again. Number seems to be coming from California. SILVER STRAND ENTERPRISES, LOS ANGELES, CA???

they need to stop calling - hope they get a large fine for calling numbers on the do not call list

Eastern Research Services, LLC may be able to call numbers on the Do not call list, but why would you be calling at 9:45 pm?  And then there is no one on the line?  Some organization is not getting their moneys worth from you!!!!!

They seem to be calling on behalf of the University of Florida to do a survey.

I didnt even answer that number. Its been calling me for about a week. Luckily I found this site and clicked on the link to remove my number from thier list. :o)

I have been getting called by them every few days for around a month and no one is ever there when I answer.

I have had received repeated calls from this number. 1 everyday for the past 6 days.

called last night @ 8:35 pm EST no answer no message caller did not respond.

THIS IS A SURVEY COMPANY..AGGRAVATING !!!!!!!  THEY CALL WAY TOO MUCH..THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED!!

This company says it is not under the no call act but if they make more than one unwanted call for a charity and you report them they are subject to a $16000 fine. Just follow there advice and read the information link they provide. They are a third party not the actual charity or survey group which does not make them exempt after the first unwanted call and they should be reported. They call me several times a week for several months now and since I have reported that I dont want their calls I will report them everytime this number shows up on my ID.

These motherf***ers called my house at 10:30 at night on a school night.  My kids were sick and awakened by the call.  What made it worse was they hung up as soon as I answered.  These kind of people are the scum of the earth.

Received three calls today from this "Research" company. Finally took one, told them to take a hike and never call again. I find the post back on the 21st of December, from Eastern Research, to be interesting. If you are a legitimate business, why does your number come up on caller ID as "Cell Phone"? Tempting as it is to follow the links in the post to their "removal" page, I would rather not give them any info at all. If you have Comcast digital voice, login to your account and find the page where you can block specific numbers, if they continue to harass you.

CRAZYYYY started to call me like 4 times in a row and I KEEP REJECTING the call... GUYS TRY ALL SEARCH for your number on the internet and you'll find it in unexpected places on the web!!

I have registered with a Chinese website years ago...(that's my mistake) and this database will be sold to such companies!! for exactly these haunting reasons..... as these companies need a name pertaining to a number...cos this way when they say your name you won't hang up... and they can deliver their message.!! I found my number on multiple websites I didn't even know these exist.. some of these are really xitty! I demanded the withdrawal of my information from any contact us link I could find. and at least I got a confirmation from several of these sites back...

I have received numerous calls from this number. Spoke with them twice, told them I am not interested, picked up another few times and only silence on the other end. Blocked the number and they still call over and over. This is a sickness of our society which nobody has any control over, which is disgusting. I have been in business for thirty-seven years and cannot stop the telemarketers. We have no rights or true ability to stop this crap, which is just a waste of our time and energy. The FCC is useless when it comes to the average person in our society.

This is a telemarketer asking about your computer usage.  Please report him to the FCC as I've already done.

Received a call after 9:00 PM, did not answer caller ID listed ER Research. Returned the favor this AM at
4:00 AM their time (CA) hoping to wake them up! Got a recorded message about DNC rules that I already know. Was also given the opportunity to be removed from their list.Says it takes up to 24 hours so I will wait and see.
They are correct that the DNC list does not cover charities and political calls. However, once you tell them to take you off a list, they are required to do so or it is considered harrassment.

I CALLED THE NUMBER BACK (PRIVATE) AND THEY STILL KNEW WHAT NUMBER I WAS CALLING FROM. IT'S SOME SORT OF POLITICAL SURVEY. IT DOES LET YOU REMOVE YOUR NUMBER FROM THEIR CALLING LIST.

They keep calling, almost every 10min today and when I answer they hang up.  It's almost like having a "phone virus" that you can't get rid off.

I've been getting calls from them for the past day. I have Voip from a company called Ooma which let me go online, click on the number from my call log, and permanently block them.  Awesome!

Rec'd call from this same number in one day. They never leave a message.
