Called and did not say nothing SCAM

this phone number texted me and wants me to send them money for a car I've never seen. found the ad on craigslist

The number is being used by a guy doing car advertising wraps that are a scam- they send you a bogus check with the promise of a job, ask you to cash it, keep part of the money and send the rest of it to the guy that is going to be putting the company decals on your car- only the check is fake and will bounce- leaving you out the thousands of dollars you have transfered- steer clear!!

Now the number is owned by a pilot. Nice guy when he called my business and came for an appointment.

I have been receiving phone calls from this number every day on my work phone - a heavily accented man keeps asking for "Kate Joseman" and is saying that her Social Security number is "blacklisted with the U.S. government" and to call back, blah blah blah.  I called the number back and left a message to STOP calling.  The funny thing is, I work for a local government! Every day when I come into work, I have 2 voice mail messages waiting.

Said I had a lawsuit against me and won't give me information, yet he has all mine. My bills are paid so I looked into it. They must have gotten my info from my application for a loan. Lesson learned I will not ever do that again.

I also been receiving calls at home, on my cell and at work  to say that I have a lawsuit pending which I do not have. My boss took the calls and told them that it was illegal to harass me and it is a scam.

I've also received a call from this number, called back pretending to be someone else and they refused to speak to anyone other than who they were calling for. This is a joke and scam. Ignore it!

Also same story here, they curse at you if you tell them that you need something in writing.

Been getting calls for about 6 months caller  said his name was John Biden for Hudson Law Firm  had heavy accent

I have received two phone calls from this number.  The non-english speaking man identified himself as Daniel Hudson.  I asked a number of times for the name of their law firm and each time he made sure I couldn't understand him.  He claimed that I have an outstanding loan with Advance Cash USA.  He had all my personal information.  I just moved to my new residence in June 2011, but he said that when I applied for said loan I used this same address in May 2011.  I have been down this road before with these type of scum of the earth morons.  Insist on a letter stated the debt on their official letter head. That usually shuts them up, at least after they say, "You will receive the official paperwork from the courthouse, once the suit is filed".  KNOCK YOURSELF OUT, LOSER!!!!

I too have had harrassing calls and foreign speaking men answering the phone each and everytime and stating they are with some Law Firm claiming I owe money on debt that I never had and threatening to take me to court and file action. Demanding a very large amount of money and when I asked for details, paper work, (to call their bluff) they kept saying they had nothing with them they would have to get that and they were just the firm not the merchant. When I threatened to contact my Atty and report them to Atty General Office he got very mad and cursed me and hung up

This is scam! They keep calling me everyday! I'm a college student and I have enough problems to worry about then this loser, I can barely understand him and he can't even tell me the so called "name" of his "law firm". I reported it to the FTC and said that he continues to harass me for no reason. I suggest everyone do the same. Go on this website to report any numbers that harass you!

I recieved a call from this number, and the person on the phone claimed to be from a law firm that was representing a pay day loan company that was suing me because they had supposedly given me a pay day loan and I never paid it back. In Arizona where I live you can't get pay day loans unless it is a title loan.

I have gotten calls from not only this number but a few others for i would say a few years now. when i had recieved the first one I was scared and I paid them. then they left me alone. then next time I had done the same thing. they claim to be police officers with generic name but have a accent from a different part of the world. they say that I have not paid them but I have kept track of everything that they have told me so if they ever sent me something in the mail then they can do it ant take me to court. I have told them time and time again that I have given them what they have requested and they don't need to bother me anymore. I did recieve a call from them today and didn't call back, I have done that now for a few of them. I am just tired of hearing them harrass me so I just ignore them.

I keep getting calls from the same number regarding my wife getting a loan or some bs and so I keep calling them and now he has run out of lies to say its funny.  He wants to talk to my wife but I tell him that anything regarding her he can speak to me so he said he needed to transfer my call and so heputs the phone down and never got back on and in the background all I hear is other foreiners running thru the same stuff they tell me. Whats the dael with these ppl?

We got a call from this number and a voice message on our main company line looking for an employee. The message claims the caller is an officer from a law office, but the accent is so heavy we could not make out the message very well. When we called it back it appears to be a debt collection company that works with Hudson Law office out of Los Angeles, CA.

Heavy accent and very argumentative about something I still fail to fully understand. I simply told him to f-off

Jack Cooper keeps calling me and saying my SSN is black listed by the US Government that i owe some company 1000's of dollars...i told him i called FBI on them and he got hostile and said he was from the FBI so i told him to mail proof being as he has my address, ssn phone number and my wifes phone number, bank info and all that happy horse crap

I am being haressed and I have no idea why...I cant even understand what the person is saying!!!

This number keeps calling me saying I got a loan from cash advance and the money was wired to me. I looked at my statement and no money was wired to me. I had a deposit of the amount they were saying but nothing wired. They had all my personal info. I never did such a thing and why would I when I just got my tax money in that was 7,000. The man had a strong foriegn accent and they never told me the name of the law firm. They wanted to make a payment or go to court.

I received a call at my home and my job.  This could some one fired. Also I don't need people calling leaving threating messages.

I GOT TONS OF CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER, MAN WITH HEAVY ACCENT SAID HE WAS A U.S. FEDERAL LAW INVESTIGATOR, THAT I NEEDED TO REPORT TO HIM IMMEDIATELY. IS THIS FOR REALS? HE KNEW PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT ME;SS, ADDRESS, AND EMPLOYER?!
