BS debt collection agency leaves a message that  a memerchant has filed a claim against me for a returned note linked to my drive's license.
The debt they are trying to collect on is over  4 years and past the statue of limitations.

These ppl called twice today, finally left me a VM, with a call back # 404-445-3284, they were asking about someone else (I dont know the person) and in the recording it said t hey had this person's SSN and Driver's License #.  Weird.  FFS Legal outsourcing, and of course NO ONE answers, and it says that the inbox is full.  

we receveived a call from this people with a threating message. we have no idea where it came from . is there anyone regulating these kinds of people ? seriously, this is not good buesinss

I got a call from 213 550 4612 from LA CA was talking to some one for a couple of min then the phone suddenly disconnected then they called back from a 216 452 0200 that is in Cleveland oh is it a scam

I would like to know that.   I may owe what they are asking however its been from 2008.  They said if I don't pay by 5 today I will be sued for 4 times the amount

Got a message saying it is regarding fraudulent activity on my bank account and they are a court appointed mediator and that I have 24 hrs. to respond or they will be filing court papers and having me served.

I received a call on my home phone today and my husband answered. They first asked for my first married name and then continued to drill my husband on an account that I had with a bank around 5 yrs ago.  Theyn tjey told my husband that if I don't call them back that they are filing the paperwork with my county district attorneys office on felony charges for fraud. They also told him that they had gone to my previous place of employment and spoke to my supervisor there. They said they have a copy of my drivers license and know what kind of vehicles I owned. I told my husband it is illegal to discuss any business matter with a person who is not involved. I'm going to investigate and see what I can do legally about stopping or maybe bringing up charges on these people... I helps being an employee of the county that they are trying to file charges with...

Answering machines are my friend. I don't have AT&T or Sprint, so I don't know what they want. The caller ID came up only as Los Angeles, CA, but they identified themselves on the answering machine as Source Receivables Management, and their call-back number was 866-522-7588.

Calling on a card which was charged off 2004, purchased by debt collector and they are collecting compnay for a debt collector.
Once something is charged off it should remain charged off. You should be allowed to collected years later.
Then charge massive interest!

I received a call from this number but no message was left.  I don't usually have calls from LA area. I think this may be a scamming call.

Pre-recorded message with computer generated requests for a specific name in household. When follow prompts to remove number from list, you are sent to a call center drone who does nothing but ask to speak tp "X" person. Good luck.

Source RM appears to be a bottom feeder dealing at least to some degree in junk debt.  

They are aggressive callers and use Broadvoice communications.  They are unswayed by the truth in caller id act, and your caller id will normally have either a city name, or "Broadvoice", the name of their phone carrier.  

If you try to call them back, you may appear not to get through, although it is more likely that they are just creating the appearance of a failed call. Your call may be logged by their computer. If you get a person, it is difficult to get any information from the collectors, but the info you need is posted below.

We've been getting calls from this number for about 3 weeks.  Like other posters, it starts off as a robo call.  This time, my machine picked up, and there was more info - Source Receivables Mgt, a debt collection company trying to collect an old debt.  Problem is, they are calling for a family member who does not live with us, or in the area.  I'm betting it's an AT&T collection (and I don't know if that family member ever had AT&T).  If I had to guess, I'd say this company got old debt accounts from AT&T, and they get to keep whatever they can collect (AT&T probably wrote this off long ago).  So, they will keep calling and annoying.  Interesting - their message said "press 1 if you are (name), press 2 if you are not".  I pressed 2, but the message said to go get the person they are looking for, there was no way to indicate they are calling the wrong #.

I just a call from this number and I didn't answer it.  If it is to collect a debt there are laws out there that state you can't collect a debt after a certain time is that correct?

Just received my first call from this number.  After reading the posts I totally do not understand why I have been called.  I have never had either Sprint or A T & T.  I have had this same number for over 35 years.  It also looks like they have resurrected a number that has not been used since September 2011.  I look forward to reading future posts regarding this number.

I continuosly get these calls! They are dorks trying to get money! I have a panasonic phone with base that is super! It allows you to block calls where ATT Privacy director wont! It also blocks Cell calls if ya want as ATT won't! Try Panasonic phones! Helped me with these Stupid dorks calling! The Model # of Panasonic Base and cordless phone is : KX-TG7641 . It works

This company is harassing me claiming I have an old At&T wireless account in collections. Well I don't I have never used AT&T wireless. I called AT&T to verify this by having them check their archives thinking this was an error of some sort and they confirmed I had no account and that no collection agency should be calling me representing them. Needless to say when I relayed this information to this upon their second call they basically called me a liar and would not let me get a word in edge wise. They refused to give me the representatives name and the company's name and phone number.
Basically after being polite and patient with them I was told in a tone indicating this person had lived my life and had firsthand knowledge of it that I did have a phone when I told him I did not, he went into some rant that he was not going to tell me how awesome I am (WTF was that all about?)  this company is not only rude but harasses you when you try to reason with them. Another suspicious issue they have my social security number and have yet to send me anything via snail mail which most legit collection agencies will do is contact you via snail mail with all pertinent information.

It's a scam. They pretend to be AT&T and bill you something ridiculous.

These people keep Calling saying they are a Collection company for Sprint. I never use Sprint. They are a rip off there's no manager on site, there's two people who answer the phone one rude men who said give me your credit card and we can move on. Huh they though i was stupid or what-That's not even my name....crazy

They've been calling a conference room for YEARS in my building...not the brightest bulbs perhaps?

harrassing & rude calls for several month ~ refused to remove incorrect phone number from database  refused company name until i called number back 15 times ~ was even cussed out & hung up on several times & threatened with court etc ~ on what i have no clue cuz they would not say

These people keep calling me saying i own Sprint $202.02 dollards. I had never ever in my life use sprint. I just get married, they for sure have the wrong person, they won't let me talk to a manager, they keep asking for a credit card# to paid it off. They said Sprint doesn't want to talk to me or the manager. They are mean and rude. I told them i won't paid something that it's not mine. When i don't asnwer they call from a block number. CRAZY

I have been getting this call for a few weeks and always hung up when I got the recording part.  Today I took the call and had a lady with a southern accent ask for me.  When I asked who she was and what company she said Source R.E.N.  When I asked what that was repeatedly without getting an answer she got real frustrated and just hung up.  I haven't opened or attempted to open an account for years so I know this is a scam.  I also go through my credit report weekly so any outstanding debt I have is already known to me.

Yah, I got the same scam call from this phone number 213-550-4612. How do we get these scum bags busted? Let's get Dateline over here to pull off a televised Sting operation. These scum bags will just keep stealing for people until they are busted.

Got a call on my cell from this number today. It was a British-accented woman's voice recording telling me there was an important message for (my name) and asking me to press 1 if I was (my name) or 2 if I wasn't. Yeah, sure, whatever, nice try collection agency! I hung up.
I'm so glad I'm getting a new cellphone soon, with a new number.

these people are rude and best thing is never to identify your name and if they leave message don"t call them back
