We have last time some caled from number 555 0000. Soud is like ocupied. Last time was 7.58pm and before was about 3.00 pm. I am from Europe. ???

I got a call from this number twice to my office and today (Dec 10/08) I received a call from 213-555-0001.  Unfortunately every time the call came through I was no at in my office.  No message left.

Didn't pick it up. But a friend from Canada left a msg. So I think he uses calling card to call me. His call gets relayed via this number used by the long distance/internet phone/company.

They are actually long distance calls with the caller using a phone card.

the caller ID says its 'directory assistance,' so i assume that its someone who THINKS they're clever....

It's a phone call from my friend by net phone. don't know which phone company it is, but for sure this is not a telemarketing call.

Gosh..I got a phone call from this number March 1, 2010 at around 2 am in the morning....Not only did they call me once but they called me 15 times and left me a 3 voice mail that I didn't even bother to listen to. I'm just really tired of it.. How the heck am I suppose to get them to stop.....

Go a call from this number feb 19 2010... I live in Georgia and it was a person trying to ask Chinese. The person asked me if I lived in China so stupid! I replied Gosh Im tired of people playing on my phone!!!

some one calls me on this mumber 21 september 2009 at 3:17 pm and i ignore this numer becasue i coudent see that kind of number and thire is no countrycode with it and i know about my caountry code then second time caller calls me then i recive it thire is no sound nothing and call is idsconected ofter three minuter caller again calls me i recive it than caller dicconected after little time.

I just got a phone call on my cell phone from a 213-555-0000. I answered it because I do a lot of paid surveys and thought it might be one of those. It was a man, when I said "hello" he said something (one word) I didn?t understand, probably foreign. I said "what" and he said the same thing again. I said "no" and then he said "oh, ok". HMMMM....
Anyways that number seems somewhat familiar. I get some spam email everyday in my inbox at work. I glance at them in my preview window because sometimes other mail gets dumped into my spam folder. I think I saw that number or something very familiar to it in one of those spam emails (maybe today or yesterday) that someone is trying to reach me from Africa because I?ve won or inherited million?s?????.ROFL. Anyways I put them in the ?blacklist? folder, I've asked our IT guy if there is any way to look at those to see if that number was in there. From reading more of these posting's, a calling card does sound correct. Maybe they are trying to get people to say "yes" to agree to something.

Where can i get an answer as to who's number this is? and why this person is calling me? I didn't pick up, i also received along distance call from a number with the area code + 86 it is said to be from china? Any one know any information on this?

I received a call from this number today and it was my mom. She was using one of those discounted long distance phone cards. From the description in the previous posts, it appears that some telemarketers are also using these cards or possibly some other services provided by these phone card companies.

I'm in Toronto and have gotten calls from this number a couple of times (Oct & Nov 08) at my office.  Today (Dec 10/08) I got a call from 213-555-0001.  Unfortunately all times I was away from my office and it went to voicemail.

i got a call today from 231 555 0000  its a downtown los angeles area code i got a lady speaking spanish and said hello i said u have the wrong number she said WRONG NUMBER?
