Must have been network solutions according to the replies here. I just called them yesterday to upgrade some things on my account. They should be more upfront and they might get a better response!

WHEN I GOT MY NEW TELEPHONE NUMBER I HAVE CALLED NETWORK SOLUTION USING MY NEW PHONE NUMBER SUDDENLY, PHONE CALLS STARTED POURING IN FROM 213-623-0000.
ONLY NETWORK SOLUTION CUSTOMER SERVICE AND/OR THEIR ANSWERING SERVICE OVERSEAS ARE THE SUSPECTS. THIS ALSO COULD BE TRUE WITH ANY OTHER COMPANY'S CUSTOMER SERVICE OVERSEAS THAT COULD COLLECT YOUR PHONE NUMBER AND SELL IT TO OTHERS LIKE 213-623-0000.
I DID NOT CALL ANY OTHER PUBLIC COMPANY SINCE YESTERDAY, WHEN I HAVE GOTTEN MY NEW PHONE NUMBER EXCEPT THE NETWORK SOLUTIONS CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Yep, must be Network Solutions. I just called a problem in with them yesterday. Today I get a call from this number. I didn't answer and no message was left. Josh is right, most of these domain name registrars are aggressively up-selling. Register.com is the worst of all in my experience. Two minutes after registering a domain name with them (and providing my new phone number), I get a call from Web.com, a web building site. I call Register.com back to complain and they admitted they "offer this as a service to their clients". I told them to take me off that list and they said it will take up to 30 days. What a joke! I will never use Register.com again and certainly not Web.com.

Network Solutions (domain name registrar). They've become aggressive in the last few months even toward existing customers. Every time you renew or purchase a new domain, they try up-selling the hell out of it and repeatedly calling you to take a survey. They don't stop until you take the survey or blast the hell out of a telephone attendant ... until the next time you purchase something from them. Because they seem not to get the point (or don't care), they've just lost a long-time customer who's never used another registrar since his first domain purchase in the 90s. I'm actively looking for a new registrar to which I can transfer all my web properties.

Yes, it was Network Solutions. I also submitted a ticket to them. It was a survey on their service

It was Network Solutions (www.networksolutions.com) following up on a trouble ticket i submitted on their site for my web server.. not a sales call. Tech support to fix the problem i had.

Oh, and to the poster who mentioned Padre Vavra... thats a jeweler in california... but thats not his number according to his website.
| Randy Q 2012-02-28 15:18:22 Unknown |
I believe someone is "Spoofing" this number.
Thats why, when you call back, the number doesn't exist.
An old trick but still useful.

Time Warner is not an option in my area, and I am not a subscriber. Maybe they are a large company handling automated surveys for several companies. What little information I do have leads me to believe that they are mostly automated with no actual people involved in the calls.

I just had this number call my mobile phone. I do not do *67 and do not subscribe to Time Warner Cable (it is not an option in my area either). There was a very short portion of a pre-recorded message on my voicemail. All that was recorded was "...one..." I'm assuming it was asking that I press 1 for some service and would have continued if it had not realized it was a voicemail and not an actual person. I did try calling back, and as another person posted, it says the number has been disconnected or is no longer in service. Apparently they have this set up as a recording for an auto-answer system so no one can call in (they don't have to pay people to answer phone calls that way... just to make calls for whatever it is they are soliciting). I wish I had more info, but that's it for now. Perhaps I'll answer if they call again so I can post exactly who it was and what they were wanting.

yes it is

I get this number on my caller ID after I call someone and have blocked my number. I work from home, so I do *67 when making outgoing calls. I just did one today and then this number appeared on my caller ID. Talking to a co-worker, she noticed the same thing. If you *67 when the person calls back, this number 213-623-0000 Pade Vavra will appear. So strange, but happens every time.

I don't subscribe to Time Warner Cable. In fact, it's not even an option where I live. I just got a call from that number though... I'm guessing that's not it.

It's Time Warner Cable's call back system. I received an automated message from this # and it was basically a survey asking how the service was.
