Called before 8:30 am.

Get a message that says I am XXX and I am calling about your credit card balances and your minumum payments going up and you qualify for our debt reduction etc. c. . press one to be connected. .

recorded call says they are calling for "gives a name". The says if you are not this person to hang up and that if you are this person then they tell you they are a collection agency etc. Each time they say to hang up if you are not the person they are calling I hang up. But they call my number three times every day and if i am gone I have their message on my answering machine sometimes twice in a day.

They called my cellphone and hardly anyone has my cell number. I called back and it gave me an option to press 1 if I want my number removed from their list. I press one, but someone answers and ask if I want information on debt consolidation or something like that. I tell her no, that I want my number removed from the list. She keeps asking me questions and when I try to tell her again that I just want my number removed, she hangs up on me.

These people call my home 5-6 times a day saying they can reduce my credit card debt, and have special information for my balances that will be going up. if I press number one to be taken off the call list, they hang up on me, if I press number 1 and talk to a lady and tell her to stop calling, she hangs up on me.  If you call back and say please let me speak to a supervisor, they just hang up on you. I can't take it anymore, the messages clog my answering maching. The guy's name on the message is Richard Helm. They call as early as 8 in the morning, 7 days a week.

called yesterday. i didn't answer because we get all kind of stupid calls like this. also, i don't answer if i don't recognize the caller. in this case it was "transcom data". based on everyone's comments, it would have been a waste of my time anyways. i am on the "do not call list" through my state and apparently that's a joke!!! this is where these people are getting our numbers!!

I received a phone call from 213-710-8149.  I was unable to answer the call, but nobody left a clear message.  It sounded like other people talking in the background (not a television).

Some kind of odd call - no one speaks.  Is there a way to block this caller?

This is a pre-recorded warranty scam!

Annoying calls - never leave a message

Called me @ 8:55 PM. Who calls that late anyway?  No message of course...

I've gotten several calls from this number over the last two weeks. It starts with a recording saying that my car warranty is about to expire and that this my last chance to renew it (or, apparently my last 4 or 5 chances) The first two I missed, so it was on my voicemail. The third I caught, pressed the number to speak to a live person and asked who the company was (Warranty Services or something like that) and told them to take me off their list. The fourth call came tonight. I asked again to be removed from their list. I don't have a lot of confidence that the calls will stop.

I received a call on 4/9/08 from 213-710-8149 (TRANSCON DATA).  I didn't answer the call, and nobody left a message.  However, when I listened to my voice mail, it sounded like other people having a conversation in the background, but it was not a television.  Like Tom, I am also on the "Do Not Call" list.  (I re-enter my phone number every 4 or 5 years, or whenever the term expires.)  I hope someone is able to catch these people.  Just imagine how boring their lives are that they have to manufacture false credit card debt collection information or satellite television service in order to pester innocent people.

Came home to a call on my caller id from 213-710-8149 listed as a cellar call. They didn't leave a message and I didn't call them back. Stop dialing my number.

these people called saying they represented health care specialists

they are not a debt company its a scam they have many numbers they use and are only after your info so dont even give them the time hang up but i promise you they will call back i got 25 calls in 3 days so get a**le of the fcc if enough of us do then they will take action on this number if we dont they wont go after them if only a few call the fcc needs ot be a group like a class action to shut them down

Got the call # off id and called it back after *67 which blocks your id and got a new gook on every call I made. They all ask the same exact thing "would you like to speak to an agent about reducing your debt" I just said nothing and waited for them to hang up. Then I called back over and over again to repeat the process and waste their time as mine was. I encourage everyone to *67 them and call them back over and over as they don't have a problem bothering others like that. Besides, I don't even have any debt.

I sounded like I was calling somebodies garage with a bunch of non english speaking gooks scamming and screaming some foriegn garbage.

The agent is most likely one or two scammers paying foriegners with food stamps to screen their calls, sitting around some picnic table in the dudes garage with a porta poty next to it cause the trailer is off limits.

They have been calling my fiance' repeatedly over the past couple of weeks.   He answered today and they said they must have the wrong number, they will take him off the list, and hung up on him before he could question how they got his number or why they were calling about a warranty on a car when all we own are trucks from 1992 and back!  I think I'll give the 800 number a try.

I got the same thing happen to me as Shannon... so i called tham back a few more times... and showed them what it;s like to get these annoying calls. it's bull. Oh, but the number was 909-842--8164. makes me want to ask them if this is really what they learned english for.. couldn't they do something more productive? WOW

Got a call from them last week.  I think its the same people as listed under 504-567-1234, because this guy left a detailed message also claiming that he had some debt consolidating offer for me.  Although this number left me no message, the company listed was Transcon Data on the caller ID.

213-710-8149 is a SCAM.

Report RICHARD HELM and TRANSCON DATA CORP. to the NATIONAL CONSUMERS LEAGE FRAUD CENTER and every other fraud report you can.  Here is the form for the NCLFC:

This is not a telemarketer.  This is not a collection agency.  THIS IS A SCAM aimed at getting credit info from you for use in identity theft.  Do not call back EVER.  You call back and then they call you more and more till you get frustrated and give in.

Go ahead and type "Richard Helm" and "Transcon" into any search engine and see how many cell numbers across the country (and internationally) they are using to fish for people's information.

If they are calling you on your cell phone, go online to your provider's website ad enter the number into your blocked numbers list.  Then you'll never get a call from them again.  Don't have a list or you have a land line?  Call your provider and report the number to them and ask them to block it from your account.  Done.  No more fake calls from them.

If you have given information to Transcon Data Corp. (which is not a company - its a rented office run by a few thieves) call your credit and/or banking institution right away to change any passwords and to have new cards with new numbers sent to you.  Pay nothing.  Report everything.  Protect your identity.
