I often get calls from this number and the say nothing. When you try to call it back you get a busy signal.

i got a call from 213-710-8188!  When I picked up, there was no one on the line.  I eventually hung up. When I went to pick the phone up the line was still active from the their call.  Eventually it disconnected.  I was spooked.  I recently had a break-in and now I get freaked easliy.

This is a Phishing call...it is designed to find good phone numbers..being people who answer as opposed to those who don't or have a voice mail. They do not have anything to report or offer you...it is you they want to offer to their client.

Just got a call from this number. I DO NOT answer ANY calls that I don't know! Good thing from what I jsut read here. They left no message!

I wonder why I get calls from this number. The phone line is silent.

Natural gas telemarketer.
I don't use natural gas.
I asked them to remove me from their calling list.
I'm on the DNC registry and I have just reported them and would advise anyone else who gets a call from them to do the same.
The National Do Not Call Registry along with some State Attorney Generals have held these boiler room operations to task recently shutting them down and levying hefty fines & sentences to the owner operators.

Some indian lady also called about some vacation and I just hung up. Sharmoota!

They just called today, ID states Corrcom Group. I never answer theses kinds of calls; eventually they go away. Sadly enough a new one always takes their place.

call recevied tonight at 730 central time.   no message left .. after reading the above i think i will report to fcc or ftc   or atty general.  i am on dnc list.  this is obviously a scam or telemarketer from out of the country or someone who does not care about dnc list.   one more time and they owe me some money and i will collect it via my attorney...  i have done this before with other jerks and it works fine -  just be sure you tell them to stop calling first.

A woman from "Corecomm Grp" called saying she was from "Destiny Vacations" (or something similar) and when I asked her why she was calling, she asked why I answered the phone.  I told her not to call me again, but she hung up and called me back.

Called at 9 pm and hung up when my answering machine came on.  My family goes to bed at 8 as we go to work early, gonna block their next call attempt.

Got a call today asking for me, saying this was in reference to the heating bill & asking if we still use natural gas for our heating. I told the rep. I was not able to answer any questions. This confused her & she reconfirmed my name & asked again if we use Natural gas for our heating. When I told her again that I could not answer any questions, she got loud and said 'WHY?'. I told her 'that's what I was told to do'. She just muttered that she would call back at a later time. Upon reflection, the heating bill is in my husbands' name, therefore if the call was from the heating co., they would have asked for him. The tele # is in my name.

I have friends visiting us this spring, & I googled outdoor adventures,  driving & scenic tour, places and things to do during their visit.  Half an hour later, I received a call from 213-710-8188 CORE COMM GRP.  Glad my local phone provider offer this "selective call rejection", to prevent future nuisance.

I got my own with this caller. She had been calling for over a year with the same crap of "drean vacations", and my answer is the same: I am not interested at all but not to avail, she continues to call ignoring what I am telling her, talking me over. Despite asking her in multiple occasions please do not call again, she continues calling on a weekly basis...this is getting so annoying...What can I do to be protected from these callers? They call at the most wrong times of the day...One thing that upsets me the most: They got my address as well.What type of Law Enforcement is there for us?

received a call from someone asking about my natural gas account. I do not have natural gas, and asked the caller to take me off the list. I am on a no-call list.I bank online, and the company who processes the payments has recently changed its policy to allow their affiliates to reach mne with offers. Coincidence? I think not.

Call your congressional and state representatives... do not stop until they do their jobs and protect us. These foreigners have your personal information.

Sames goes for me, 213-710-8188 just came up on caller ID, Perfect Network. Don't recognize it so I didn't answer. Answering machine picked up and they just hung up without leaving a message. Couldn't have been too important I gather.

I received a call from 213-710-8188 today at 6:02pm CST, Sunday, 1-31-2010.  The caller ID labeled it as CORECOMM GRP.  I didn't recognize the company so did not pick it up.  They did not leave a voice msg.  I am on a do-not-call list.  After reading the above posts, I am glad I didn't bother to pick it up.  The AnyWho reverse lookup didn't find that number, but the WhitePages reverse lookup says it is an unpublished number in Compton, CA.  411.com confirms that it is a land line provided by Digitcom Services in Compton, CA.

I called them back at 7:40pm, thinking I would ask who they are and to please not call again as I my number is registered on the do-not-call list.  All I got was a voice recording of a young english speaking female saying something like "Thank you for calling back.  If you are not interested in receiving calls regarding our special promotions, please press 1......".  I just hung up.  If they continue to call I may press 1 to see if they actually do respect that action.  Otherwise, here is a thought:  We could answer, and feign intent interest in whatever they are selling, but make up a fake credit card number and when it doesn't go through, insist that it is correct and they need to check their system.  Basically engage their labor as long as possible, with no fruitful result for them in the end.  By just not answering or hanging up they can keep calling others, but if their time is squandered with bogus customers, then maybe they will out of necessity go out of business. :-)

I also received a call from 213-710-8188. The name of the caller was shown as 'Perfect Network'. I don't pick up on this kind of call. They hung up when the answering machine picked up. I am on the do not call list and filed a complaint with the FCC.

A call from these jerks came in at 11:20 this morning.
I did not pick up.
No message was left.
I was just harassed a few days back by relentless calls coming from some company in the Philippines.
I am on the Do Not Call list..
(For all the good it does these days!)
I reported it on the DNC registry's website.

Can these calls be blocked??

Something about Vacations. Beachcomber? Same Indian woman that has called MANY times on different numbers. Was Phoenix International. Some type of appointment setting. This woman has absolutely no concept about the Do Not Call list. She always argues, saying it is the first time she called. WRONG. We don't really get that many telemarketing calls and only ONE of them is the same Indian woman voice and always about "vacations". This has been ongoing well over a year now. Google "Perfect Netowrk" (I think that is an intentional typo on their part). Eventually you will find a name that links to Abu Dhabi. Gee that was a big surprise when I found it. NOT!

Got a call from 213 710-8188 on 1-20-2010.  Advised they were calling to inform me the I had won a free vacation.  I told them to call someone else and hung up.

Received an evening call from CoreComm GRP. Did not answer because it looked like a scam call by the name and location. I have Call Blocker and blocked it so I will get no more. I wish everyone had Call Blocker. It would put all these guys out of business!

Didn't answer the phone - let the machine pick it up. They didn't leave a message and I don't plan to call them back. And yes, I typed the Caller ID correctly. "Netowrk"

I they leave a mesasge with a return number of 800-658-1427. I called back and I am asked if I want to have my debt removed when I say no that I want to be removed from their call list they hang up. If I asked the name of the firm they also hang up. I tried this 10 times and got the same behavior.

Called me at 8 in the morning on my way to work.  I didn't answer, no message left, and judging by the rest of these posts I guess I'm glad I didn't answer

same number calls my house numerous times a week n there is never ne one on the other line...  unless the answering machine picks up...
