Scum of the Earth!

I am on the do-not-call registry.  I received a recorded message phone call offering me all kinds of free stuff.  I pressed "1" to hopefully connect with a human and to ask that I not be called again.  
Jack (Agent 6379) said he represented Senior Alert Care for Medical Alert.  He said that my phone number is automatically added to telemarketers' lists because I had bought prescriptions and I failed to opt out of telemarketing calls from my pharmacy.
He said he has removed my number  but it would not do any good.  It will pop right up again in the future.
What good is the do-not-call registry?

I am getting so sick of these scam calls...... can anything be done to stop them.......

They are scammers.

Never press any buttons. Don't bother trying to be removed from their list and don't talk to them.

The only service these criminals provide is theft. There are no free groceries, no medical alert device. All there is is theft of identities and credit cards.

Telemarketing scams are on the rise and are the new form of email spams. You will receive more calls, from various fake/spoofed numbers all across the country. Te caller ID is a dead giveaway that it is a scam. All the calls are automated which is illegal. So know the signs.

Report the calls, but more importantly, warn others. Especially the elderly and the gullible. Beware of lower your interest rate, medical alert, home security, survey giveaways, and fix your computer scams.

Report, warn and ignore. Be suspicious of ALL automated weird caller ID calls from now on.

have been recieving the same phone call.  Listened to the message and at the end you are message to press 5 to be removed from their solication.. Hope it works

just received a call from this number - I did not answer - they left no message

Caller ID said Alert.  Saying I can get $3000 dollars worth of groceries and a life alert medical bracelet.   This is where I hung just another scammer thinking they can take advantage of us senior citizens

same thing..caller id said alert..I dont answer that crap..

this number called id box read ALERT - alert sounds bogus, didnt take call. Enough of this nonsense!Arrrgh!
