I received a call from this number on Saturday, 05.24.2008 at 02:20 P.M.  The caller identified herself as "Bertha, calling from First Choice Pharmacy".

I recieved the same phone call--logged into the site and never got a phone call back after te 30 minutes like they instructed would happen?  I noticed a deposit into my bank account for 200.00 which I was not aware of approving.  When I call the phone # I get a message and no return call..This is a SCAM I am sure and now I will have to close my account and reopen with a new #!  UGH!

Yes these so called loan people call all the time on my cell and say you're preapproved for a loan. How do they do that?

Someone texted us from this number with a message of my spouse being unfaithful. The text was sent about 1am. Don't pay attention!

We received a call on our cell phone saying we were pre-approved for a loan, to log onto instantwages.com, use our email and last four of our SS# to enter our account and confirm our loan.  We tried the log in and it worked, however, they wanted personal info that you just don't give out.  We left the site and tried to log back in and you can only log in once.  These people definately need to be stopped.  Everyone is at risk of being scammed by this company.  They also called on 216-725-5215.  Stay safe!

You can report this on the Federal Communication Commissions Website (FCC).  When you go to the page, there is place to file complaints.  Click on the wireless tab and it will take you to a online complaint for.

The company i work for started receiving calls from this number for an employee. I told them he was not in, that he worked out of town that i could take a message and have him call them back. He said it was a personal matter that he would call back. He called back 30 seconds later. I told him he just called and that he was not in. He said "ok, i will call back." I informed him that he should not call back, that he will not EVER be able to reach him at this number. He said, "ok, i'll call back." A lady from the same number called back 1 min. later. I told her the same. She said "ok, i'll call back." grrrr!!! She did, she called back 1 min. later. Then we got 4 more calls within the next 10 min. Please say that is it!!

I received a call from (213)725-5240 last night.  They called about 10 times within 30 minutes.  It was after 10:00 at night and I was very annoyed. I told them that he was not home and asked who was calling.  They said it was a personal matter.  They asked for my husband by name.  I yelled into the phone and told them to stop calling us and that it was after 10:00 at night and they stopped calling finally, but they will probably start calling again today.  These people have got to be stopped.  This is so annoying.

Called to verify a pre-approved payday cash loan.  Was asked to answer security questions on website given, then was told someone would call back within 30 to verify the loan and my consent to receive it, and was told the number would come up as private.  Never received that second phone call.  SCAM - be careful who you give information to.

I received a call for one of my employees and told them she was not in today. When asked if we could take a message they said NO. After four calls with in 2 minutes I pretended she was in and asked if I could say who was calling, they identified themselves as Instant Wages.com I told them she was not in and to quit calling, they did not quit calling until they made several more attempts. I called her and she said she had applied for a loan and got hammered with calls like thins.

Answered because I wanted to see what they were peddling. No one on the other end, just clicking noises.

Caller asked for my husband. When I said he was not home (it was 10:45 a.m. and he was at work), the caller said he wanted to offer my husband, who works in IT, a free computer magazine subscription. I said I couldn't help. He hung up.

I have ordered diet pills on line before and when you do that you must enter a phone number.  Now they are calling me about 4-6 times a month to refill.  I should have entered a fake number I guess.

Got a call and they mentioned me by name.  Wonder how they got my name?  I'm very discreet in giving my number.  The man spoke in a phoney latino accent ... I thought it was a friend making joke, but it wasn't.  I lied & pretend to be somebody else and tell that I was out of the office.

I'm glad I read this blog.  When this number calls me, no one ever says anything.

Thanks for the tip Barefoot.  AT&T didn't have a free blocking feature but for $4.99/month I was able to get what they call "Smart Limits for Wireless.  Works like a charm!

The greatest thing about receiving these types of calls on my cell phone is that AT&T has a free feature called "ADD TO REJECT LIST".  You may see the number come up but it never rings through.
