$20 will get them off your back for a year.  That's what I gave them the year after I graduated and I didn't hear from them until the next campaign.

Calls daily x 2 weeks. USC Alumni Office requesting donations from grads.  Nobody here went to USC, however, Keck USC just took over local hospital where we've been patients.  Also go to The Doctors of USC specialists.  Maybe they are trolling their billing records for donors.  Told them I never went to USC, am on the Do Not Call list and looking for work, so I have no money.....unless they can offer me a job, they need to remove me from the list and STOP CALLING.  Good luck...

I work at USC and I get this same annoying recorded phone on my work # from USC asking me for money.  This is really annoying and I don't appreciate them calling me.  I was a full time employee and they laid me off to part time, so its really in bad taste for my sucky employer to call me asking for money!  I have no clue who to report this to or how to make them stop.  I just don't answer my work # anymore when I see its them calling.

This is definitely a legitimate USC alumni donation number calling. I already wasn't gonna give them anything because my experience at this university was like high school part deux (except I actually got an education in high school). I hated all of the rich boys and rich girls who acted like their shi- didn't stink and the stuffy and very conservative WASPy campus climate. What the heck makes them think that I'd give one cent back? But to top it off, the little snot kid who took my call giggled in the middle of me telling him that I've been unemployed for the past 4 and a half years and made some snide remarks about how the "USC network is tight and it's everywhere" insinuating that it was my fault I cannot find steady work. Well I let him know that I had news for him and that NO ONE CARES that I have a degree from USC and that when he graduates and is looking for work, no one will care about his "USC network" either. I know for a fact that I've been passed up for jobs that have gone to Ivy League, UC, and even Cal Poly and SF State grads.

I've already donated tons of money to USC through my tuition---I owe over $100K in loans!!--I WILL NOT donate a single cent until my diploma gets me a job that lasts at least more than 2 years. I should have been a lot smarter and I should have attended one of the prestigious schools I got into that can actually get you a job, but instead I chose to go to USC and now I have to suck it up and scramble to find a way to pay my massive debts.

TOTAL SCAM - NOT USC!!! Claimed to be USC but not only knew nothing about the campus, when I made up inaccurate details to test them that anyone on campus would have known - location of Tommy statue, other campus landmarks - they totally feel for it and followed along.  Probably a credit card scam.

I think this person is just playing a phone game using this number. I received the call and did not answer it, so it goes to my voice mail. The voice mail recorded for 10 min, but no one was speaking. Lot of hacking going around includes websites, cells, credit machines, computers, etc.

It's definitely USC asking for money. And it's OK for a school to ask for money from alums.

but does feel ridiculous that they are so persistent, especially with students a few years out from graduation who are mostly broke as s*** and sometimes even still paying back loans from going there.

I saved the number as "USC Wants Money" and I just don't answer it anymore. Maybe one day when I have a disposable income (HA) I'll donate. Until then, whatever I can manage to scrape together for a charitable cause goes to NPR.

Just say "I'm not interested in donating, please take me off your call list, thanks." Yes, as many others have said, it costs enough to go there in the first place. I couldn't afford it, so I worked for tuition money and paid full fare; I think anyone that really wants to go there can do the same.

This # calls almost daily. The girl was a real snot when I asked, "Is this USC?" My caller ID always shows it and so we never answer but it was NOT at dinner time as it usually is so I decided to try and put an end to the calls.  I am not sure if this is a sorority making calls or someone getting paid to call. They ask for my husband who is a USC grad, but I have to say there will be no donations after this disturbing nonsense.

I made a mistake of making a small donation 20 years ago, every year they call, usually a student volunteering.  I don't mind talking to them for a few minutes, but I would be stupid to donate again.

Mark said "So what if it's call asking for donations -- how do you think private universities make money?" Hmmm, well they make money starting with the $150,000 in tuition, fees, room and board they charge over 50,000 students per year for degrees that can barely get us jobs as a dishwasher. They also make money in the hundreds of thousands of dollars from real estate they alone. USC also makes money in the millions of dollars generated in sports revenues. They also make money from the millions of dollars generated by investments from their endowment fund. They also make money with the tens of millions of dollars from grants and research. They also make money in the hundreds of millions of dollars donated by super rich billionaires.

Given all these ways they make money, they can and should leave me alone unless they're going to make good on my $150,000 degree and help me in my efforts to get a job, something USC's laughable "career center" didn't do.

I get calls from this number.  After looking at all the reports of someone asking for college donations, I finally answered one time.  I told them that I never lived in California and I have never gone to college and to quit calling me.  Well, they started up again.  Just leave me alone.

They call from this number over and over and over.  I am on the non-call list too, but that does not seem to matter as they just keep calling.  If it is USC's automated call service, I have spoken with them and told them not to call back and they ignore that too.  How can I make them stop calling me.

I have been getting calls from this number.  I don't answer.  As I have been reading, it is from USC.  I have never lived in California and I have never been to college.  Not even 1 day.  So no, they won't be getting money from me.  Maybe they would like to send money for my kids and grand kids to go to college.  Hey everyone, have a great day.

I'm being bombarded with calls from this number and yet I have never been to USC nor has anybody in my family. No offense to USC, i'm sure it's a great school, but why call me for a donation? Not only are they calling me....they do it all the time. Do they not have any respect for people's privacy? I can understand asking for a donation once in a while, but this is nuts. Daily calls? never leaving a message as to who they are or what they want. There must be a lawyer out there that can file a lawsuit on my behalf? Maybe somoene who wants to make 50% of whatever is won. I'm sure there must be some USC graduates there that because really good lawyers and would love to get some of that tuitiion money back.

Yep, spamming USC asking for a handout. Calls and calls. As for Trojan Nation - typical idiot who feels he/she/it is entitled to take money from others and harassment is a valid way to get that money. If you're a fine example of the jerks that USC turns out then...
