213-769-4710 is a craigslist scammer trying to get money by iverpaying you with a bogus check and asking to deduct the shipping charges and send to a bogus shipping company for your item. My biggest clue was the loser asking to ship an entire 90-gallon saltwater reef tank...what a loser

I unfortunately sent "Mike Smith" my information, and THEN found this forum. He was still on googlechat so I told him he was a scammer, to which he replied "Yeah I know" and then I asked him if he needed tires to which he replied "No you a***ole I want to f*** your mom" and then he signed off. Haha, what a waste of my time. I don't know if he sent me the check or not.

I just received this email on a Craigslist item that I posted for sale. Played the game for a little bit because all he wanted was my home address. I found it odd that this was being requested this way so I would only provide my phone number and refused to sell to him is he did not contact me. So this is the response I received. Finally a number attached. Thanks you all of you good people for helping me get to the bottom of this scammer and wasting my time.

Someone calling himself Mark Smith and using the email address fedwdffwd@googlemail.com with this phone number sent me a series of messages very much like the ones shown on this site.  I presume it is the same scam.

same as all the above.  Scammer person trying to send a cashiers check (fake) to pay for and have me ship 4 tires and rims worth $100-$200.  No one does that.  You can buy used car rims anywhere.  They are just trying to screw with your back account...

i recieved the same message as everyone above i told the people screw you, i only deal locally thats what craigslist is for... i told her if you cannot give me cash and or put the money into my paypal acct. i will not deal with you...

before i read this blog of course i did give my name and address like a dummy!!! so when i receive the check i will try my best to try and report them to all of the authorities and try to find a way to screw them over!!!!!
